Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star level 2-31 is fairly simple and requires one bird. Do you see the bottom most triangle block? Launch Han toward it and and bounce his lasers off that block. It should send the lasers ricocheting, popping all the pigs bubbles in the process.

This was the worst level ever. Took me hours to finally nail it. What finally helped is I slowed my bird down.

I agree Jen…I have spent at least 3 hours trying to get 3 stars. It is driving me crazy!!!
I wonder how many takes @Fujitoast had to do before getting that wonderfully simple looking 1-Birder finale. I’ve been at it for 1½ hours and all I can get are 2-Birders. Of course, that by no means means I’m giving up, no siree, not me.

@AMslimfordy, you must have been having one of your good days, I think that my sentiments are shared by many others, otherwise, the averages wouldn’t reflect below 3 star threshold.

@AMslimfordy, that’s a BIG 10-4, I just now aced it, the Rovio Gods have indeed smiled upon me.
it’s not too hard to do; you just send han towards the lower left pig and make a straight shoot at the top corner of that little triangle to get it to ricochet.
@gekreuzigt : Now that’s an easily done aiming point! 56270 on two tries. :D
I find it’s more like shoot toward the middle/bottom corner to make the full ricochet. I’ve now repeated this numerous times to make sure. 55,700 average. Depending on how fast and where Han hits the first pig, the more damage to blocks. My highest is 56,050.
The key is to slow your bird down and then you can aim more accurately.
How do you slow a bird down?
Pull the bird halfway on the slingshot.
Great method, even if it took me at least 300 tries to nail it. Score 55690, and I wont try again! Either the first pig or the the central one wouldn’t pop. Tnt exploded once, but it didn’t help much in terms of points, since you have to use two birds.
I started using the slow down method, but found I got more destruction at full speed – got lucky…

To get extra points, target the top of the bubble. +56k almost garanty. For the shots, it has been described in other comments.
The top of the bubble is the key as Han keeps moving and can take out two triangles for consistent 56K+ scores.

This is one of those levels that you just have to keep on iterating until you get the lucky shot. I was a master at getting all but one sometimes the big guy and sometimes the lowest pig. I had heaps of turns where the laser went into the inner square and missed the big guy. With a lot of patience I got there. Did it like the video
Slightly different strategy here, Aim to clip the top of the first pig’s bubble with Han, as @judge-d says above, but wait to fire the blaster until after that, targeting the mirror just below the TNT. Han will bounce down to get the second lower pig, and if the angles are right, all other pigs will be popped by the blaster. My first run at this also picked up the TNT, which can add additional points.
Little weird level ;). I passed it long time ago with 55.750. First attempt after return and I earn some hundreds more. Next I started think or try so much with zero effect. Little earlier I try experiments. There is some more ways to go and TNT there is not for curiosity reason :).
1. “Slowing down” in classics way realy works. I didn’t cach this note before :(. A bill for it are low score, because HS lost it’s crash-the-wall potential.
2. Film way is about shooting below the “Shelf”. Over the shelf works too at two ways: parallel or slightly angled. Hard but doable, especially at slow(er)-motion mode. Now I only checked it, before I made it on full speed ahead.
3. Now little more complicated billard methods. Shoot at around 45 angle aiming near TNT from low right triangle mirror area. Hard to repeat :)).
4. Bonus for kamikaze pilots: I observed many times that shoots are willing to go both direction same time (clockwise and counterclockwise). If someone manage to master it…
Anyway I rised +810. Small points but worth extra 400+ position there. With 56.560 I’m at # 16 / 17.
thank you so much for that shooting OVER idea..instead of under. gave me a tick more time to move my mouse. like someone else said, Rovio seems to forget about us mouse users sometimes.
Got 55,830 after at least 200 tries. Now I’m gonna try again for 56k or more.
