Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Cloud City level 4-16 is to send Chewie into the air stream, redirecting him into the chains of the main structure. Pull the far-right tower with Leia’s tractor beam, and try to grab as many damage points as possible. The score in the video below is 81,250.

I got a one birder by aiming Chewie just a bit above the steam so that the chains holding the remains of C-3PO break and his metal parts roll around and damage the leg of the tower.

Yes – keep trying until you get a 1 birder seems to be the way to go. It’s luck as to how much debris gets sucked down the vent before the unused bird scores are calculated.

1B possible (88K), a lot of almost a hair 1B ;) but my best 2B is 86.770. High 2B is not so easy. That is clearing a lot of staff and consequency.

I am mighty thanks for the tip I got 92410 from a one birder. I threw chewie into the steam just above the base of the steam to get up and break the chains and other damage took out the far right tower.

Thanks Georgerxtx for the tip to aim lower. I found that resulted in much more consistent one birdies with my lowest one bird clear at 79k. :-) this is yet another level that requires patience and persistence. Let the level play out even if you think you didn’t get the right side tower. Little bits of C3PO have a way of slowly getting down to the base of the tower and taking it out resulting in higher scores than expected.

@kimmiecv…it seems I just did a little better… fully zoomed in (so that you can see the whole screen) and I lined Chewy dots up with the grey base of the two thinner windows in the background,(just left of the steam). Chewy ended up going through the middle of the large dark long circle thing up top in the background and went through the top of, or slightly above the green oinker. It really helps if you get that horizontal bar from the right “hanger” to crash into the right tower. GL…Rinse and Repeat for sure ;-)

I got 91k with it.

This level starts counting score before the level is finished. The debris was still moving.
Almost all the levels in ABSW used to finish early on 1-Birders.
Very frustrating !!

I’ve been playing this strategy all evening, and it’s worked really well for me. I just now checked comments to see if you all had figured it out yet. I’m glad to see it was figured out, shared and people are flinging their way to great scores! I am using the linear metal on the doors and windows behind Chewie to line up my shot. Three things; Chewie must hit that first chain low enough for it to take out that storm trooper up high when the chain swings to the right. Next, Chewie, having wiped out that first platform, must take out the first chain of the second platform. But the platform should not totally break free. It needs to swing to the right with enough force it flings some of the falling debris to the right, towards the last tower. If it hits hard enough, the tower buckles in the middle towards the left (like this shape < ). The more metal that goes onto those steel discs, the higher my score gets. I've been able to upgrade my score twice now by that exact chain of events happening. I just know if Chewie is a hairs breadth too high or low, it doesn't happen in a fashion that increases my score. Finally seem to have a level that I'm doing halfways decent on. Good luck a! I think I've topped out what I'm capable of scoring.

I am curious if there is even a bonus bird in that level or are the gold parts just there to help rack up more points? Ive been trying to get all the pieces into the big vent at the bottom in an attempt to maybe put the bonus bird together and unlock another bonus level. Am i wasting my time with that?

Whoohoo…. my first topscore ever. Probably not for long, but for now a little celebration :-)

BTW, I always aim the dotted curve directly through the little triangle at the bottom of the stripe on the door (hope this makes sense). Sometimes the falling stuff takes the bottom of the right tower out and then it’s just hoping that there’s enough debris

@tinus, I’m having trouble figuring out the door to which you refer. When my Android phone screen is completely minimized (almost too tiny to play), I only see 2 doors. One is directly behind Chewie in the slingshot & with same screen resolution, the other has the closest hanging “swing” with pigs & StormTrooper in the doorway.

I do see a number of windows for lack of a better word as these have no openings on the bottom as the other 2 I just mentioned. These “windows” also have a yellowish stripe or lines along the bottom edges of each. Is it one of these narrower openings I’m calling windows that you used? I can’t find a little triangle to aim thru, but I’m sure it’s my senior eyesight ; – )

Can you please describe which opening you are referring to & also whether you were playing zoomed all the way in, zoomed all the way out or something in between? A pic would really help. Can you upload a screenshot of the shot trajectory you were using & place a link here with your reply? Thanks in advance & congrats on your TopScore, it looks like you did very well on these levels.

Since this level closes early, not all of the debris was able to roll down the line into the shaft for the much needed points & I was becoming frustrated that I couldn’t improve my 91680.

Tinus posted the TopScore strategy & I didn’t seem to be having any luck with lining up my Chewie’s shot, so I watched @yuriyigolkin YouTube video & finally, a decent score of 93450 on Android phone. I now think that tinus’ post & yuriyigolkin’s video may be the same strategy.

As it turns out, when I just watched this Walkthrough again before this post, my Chewie trajectory was just a hair’s width below the ABN video & the Chewie bounce & luck that ensued was the only difference between my “1-birder” & the ABN video also using Leia. Patience, luck & perseverance is all we need with this level ….. LOL.

Hey @kathy. Thanks! I like to get creative sometimes. I had fun with that one. Sorry I’m just now getting back to you. I’ve been a slacker on here lately Partly due to IOS 8 knocking my iPhone for a loop and partly because I was so buried with some of the other new releases (Stella; Seasons etc).

First, Congrats to @tinus for that great score on Cloud City 4-16! Next to @justpast40, I found the ‘triangle’ spot that he is referring to…I think. When zoomed in, Chewie is sitting right under the large window above the sling. Look up and to the right between the two narrow windows – To my old eyes, it looked more like a smudge at the bottom of the vertical painted line, but if you look closer, the shape looks kind of like a triangle. I took a screen shot and enlarged that area, put it in my album: AB_CloudCity_4-16_triangle.jpg

I used that as an aiming spot and did increase my score to just over 93k so far today. Getting Chewie to take out all the pigs is not hard, but it takes a whopping big ‘L’ (Luck factor) to get the over 94 and 95k score. Wow! I’ve knocked everything down a few times but then the debris also smashes the rolling wheels so the debris doesn’t all get destroyed for points. Kudos to all the higher scoring flingers!

@gypsybird ha ha love the pic! I had no idea Chewbacca had such a good grasp of the English language. ;D
I’ve been flinging through the triangle & have managed to inch my score up a bit, but you sure do need the L-factor to get enough destruction before the level times out. I had a couple of higher scores when the 2nd swing drops & poor C3PO’s head has fallen to take out the bottom left support of the tower.

Thanks @karen68! Of course, those were Chewbacca’s thoughts, roughly translated of course! Alas, I haven’t mastered the spelling of his language just yet – not even phonetically. I finally inched up a few more hundred points – still under 94k though. It is rather annoying when the level ends while more points could be possible.

Thank you so much @gypsybird, I still can’t even see the smudge, but with your Chewie translation, I now have a much better idea about where @tinus was aiming & I am so pleased to see know that Chewie & I speak the same language. I just got home from work (it’s Tax Season here in the ‘ole USA,) & just started working to improve my 93k, but I obviously need a lot more practice or perhaps new glasses, because I can’t even manage to get a 1-birder or 1-Chewie, let alone a better score
