Angry Birds Star Wars 2 Naboo Invasion Level P1-15 Walkthrough

One non-character swap strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars II Naboo Invasion level P1-15 is to launch Jango Fett at a very low angle so he hits the wood pile in front the magnet. As he approaches fire his rocket down to take out the rebel coward hiding in the ice blocks. Mop things up with your awesomeness. The score in the video below is 70,520.

Not a red bird, this is because the top which I hit the square block with is easy to go to the gravitational field.

Starting from the end – my best 2B is 75.600 and isn’t not so bad score. It only shows how many points lay at all debris. Of course I’m at 1B there and lift +4K (78,280 / #5) being inspired by @thee-michelle.

I can’t read off Thee-Michelle describtion but post shows direction. I take her screen shot, cut, rotate, estimate an angle, try and start to improve from time to time. I used to other tap point by intuition and observing behavior of debris.

For me one point is interesting at group of wooden debris – reversed L. I use it as a corner to push by missile remember same time about bricks placed higher. I tap very deep and around glass group thinking Y- shoot targeting. Rest is laying up to you.

By Aaron B.

For ease, launch right down the middle, toward the wood debris, and blast your missile just before impact. Kamikaze Fett blasts upward, magnet goes at the space station, debris blasts downward–one shot (70,980).

I used the last chance feature to get my current score.1st was Darth Vader at wooden block, one bird on the bottom planet survived, after which I methodically swept every little piece of junk on the screen, including chain, satellite dishes on top planet, even that little antenna on the planet where slingshot is. I used different birds and pigs for that, including all shooters, Mace Windu(good for chain), but mostly a bunch of Tusken Raiders.

I used Kit Fisto and TIE Figher Pilot first, and then Tusken Raider multiple times to get rid of every last piece of debris. @sunshine – my screenshot for the Underdog: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/annach/album/picture/9570/

Congrats to @aleksch, @annach, @thee-michelle and @jtwade for using Jedi fighting ingenuity and going to the TOP of the leaderboard on today’s Challenge. I’m still under 75k and starting to get too OCD on this level now. LOL. I’ve been saving all the Kit Siskos that I’ve been able to get through the Carbonite melting freebies, but I went through several on this level so far and still only managed about 56k using 3 plus a 4th Last Chance character. I’m having trouble seeing how anyone is getting over 80k…boo hoo. (trying the whine/whinge factor). It is so hard to wipe out all the debris to get all those coveted points. I just figured out that you can use more last chances until the level finally times out – just not sure how many extra characters can be used until that happens. Can any of you say just how many characters you used in total to destroy all the debris?

@thee-michelle and @jtwade could you both please share which characters you used to get a new Underdog puppy today? You didn’t share your strategy, only the screenshot of score…

For PC users: While you haven’t yet gotten the update to be able to use the ‘last chance’ of an extra character (not sure if you’ve gotten the Carbonite Pack yet?), you all do get extra free ‘credits’ during game play (more than the rest of us get) to use to get the unlimited use of the additional characters, such as Vader; at least that is what I’ve been told about a benefit of getting the PC version of SWII. The only time I see credits build up on iPhone is when a newly released world is completely 3 starred for all levels, when Rovio tossed in those extra coins to grab or when we buy the credits as in-app purchases. Of course we can also buy Telepods, when they can be found, but they can each only be used once per play.

Ok so whine factor payed off just a little. I was able to increase to 83k using multiple last chances – fast to pick which characters to bring in. Now I’m out of breath! hahahaha. I started with Jango; next was Vader to the bottom; then reached out for Wicket and sent him scattering down; then I used Mace to take out the chains; Qui-Gon Jinn to swipe out debris around the magnet; Captain Panaka wiped some more and lastly, Tusken to take out the satellite. All that for only 83k – I think there was only 1 wooden block left. So I see where the Top scorers today really did a fabulous job of picking the right characters and sending them in to the right spots to get the higher scores! Kudos to you all!

For example, you should purchase cheap characters such as ‘Biker Scout”Stormtrooper’ with +50 and +100 not eternity.
You should not use Vader at this level. It will miss Underdog that a piece disappears outside a screen. In addition, as for the time when you at a loss at position to aim at during last chance, there are none.
A level is finished leaving a piece by time-out.

@waimea – actually, I must say that I don’t like this “last chance” feature at all. I think it was a huge mistake on Rovio part to add it. Basically, you can use as many birds or pigs as you like to finish a level, without any penalty. I think it would be more fair to subtract 10,000 points for using any extra bird. I am sure they did not think it through when they added it, obviously they did not mean for it to be used to increase the scores. I think they just wanted to help not-so-good players to finish difficult levels. But when I saw this feature for the first time, I knew right away that it can be misused to increase the scores, and that it will ruin many levels. And indeed, it happend, and many levels are now ruined and leaderboards messed up.

When I first discovered the “last chance” strategy I gave a lot of thought to whether or not to exploit it. Ultimately, I decided to use it and at the same time create a forum topic to share it with everyone. I figured the forum topic would gain more exposure than burying it in the comments of some individual level.
With the exception of the PC users (sorry), everyone is on an even playing field. Successfully employing the “last chance” strategy and attaining top scores is not an easy task. Granted, you can raise your score with the strategy, but to attain top scores requires some hard work and skill. I am certain that @thee-michelle and others atop the leaderboard will attest, the last chance strategy requires a definite plan for bird selection and very fast flinging ability to beat the fast timeout. So basically what I am saying is, you can’t just use the the strategy and be at the top of the leaderboard.
With a few exceptions the top players of most of the leaderboards remains the same as it was prior to “last chance”. I think that @thee-michelle will also agree that the competition at the top is relentless, unyielding, fierce and most of all fun.

I agree 1000% with @wicket182, to remain competitive on the Leaderboards, the flinger needs character flinging strategies which one will quickly discover, certainly depends on how/where things end up after the first few flings, not to mention needing the ability to think & shoot very very quickly. During this Challenge, I’m only using my 8 Pork Side Telepods as I haven’t yet decided whether to spend the $$$ to swap Bird/Pork. I play on an iPad & Android phone & since Characters earned don’t sync between platforms, I presume neither would the Traitor mode purchase(s), so I’m not sure I want to double my expense to do this …. still thinking

I started the Challenge with 75920 on my Android phone obtained many many months ago when helping find 3* minimums, so that was obviously just with the characters provided. My iPad score was about 5k less. The best I’ve managed on my iPad with the Last Chance using the provided characters & the following Telepods in a variety or ordering: Darth Sidious, Darth Maul, Droidkea, Sam Wesell, General Grevious, Anakin Episode III, & Stormtrooper is 81990, so I’m still almost 6400 points from a puppy & considering I’m clearing 99% of the debris, I’m obviously not doing this as effectively or efficiently as the others, although I have managed to slide into the Top 10 for now. While I rarely whine, maybe before the Challenge ends, a miracle will happen, like the Mets winning the ’69 World Series.

1 bird score of ~73-74k:

Aim Jango about halfway between wood and stone rebels. Just before reaching the piles, shoot towards the wood rebel, lining him up with the ice/glass rebel.

This will push Jango into the stone rebel, and should push the magnet down to the planet. With good aim, you’ll get the rebel at the ice pile and all those on the planet.
