Angry Birds Star Wars 2 Escape to Tatooine Level P2-3 Walkthrough

One non-character swap strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars II Escape to Tatooine level P2-3 is to send Darth Maul flying up into the chain securing the floating platform, causing it to release. Ideally, Darth Maul will continue into the TNT and the level will be toast. The score in the video below is 107,140.

It’s depressing getting a quick one-bird solution only to end up with a single star and only 93K.

I think that there is only the method of the video.
The bone of this level is very hard!

Same as video but 1bird did not die. Sent 2nd pig into remaining bird and bones. This time bones were very brittle and provided many points for top score for now.

@thee-michelle always knows the extra points & is right that the bones in this level are hard. Maybe too hard. But this is the most repeatable level I’ve played. Follow the video. If the TNT doesn’t go off then pause & reset. If the floater doesn’t start moving to the left soon after the explosion then pause & reset. Keep plugging away over & over and you’ll get a decent score without the bones.

Light Darth Maul’s saber before he hits the chain. You destroy more chain (pointd), and his trajectory is more likely to end up on the tnt. The rest is up to how many bones you crack…

I’m not sure if this really classifies as an “Alternative Stat” but I have a few differences and tips that helped me to achieve some pretty consistent higher scores…

I play on iPad and fully zoomed out, I believe is how it is referred to…(I never know which is considered here as zoomed in vs. zoomed out, it’s kinda like the glass being half full vs. half empty, IMO) but it’s so that the whole screen is in view) Aim Darth Maul in a lower trajectory so that when you fling him, he will go exactly at the tip of the middle “curved” thing in the background. My screenshot will show the trajectory.

A split second before he makes contact with the chain, tap to “call on his powers” where he should easily, without interruption go on to ignite the TNT. When the TNT explodes, this trajectory gives you a better chance of having some debris bounce on top of the now fallen floating structure, which btw…reminds me of a smoldering cauldron…or perhaps that’s just the Halloween Spirit coming out in me ;-) Anywho…when some debris bounces on the “cauldron”, it allows for it to slow down a bit so that it has a chance to turn left and upside-down to get as much of the left structure as possible.

Here’s my screenshot showing the trajectory, however the score in this pic is just 114950 but it’s the same shot as I used to get my best so far of 115420:

P.S. If anyone would like to reply with their “politically correct” answer to what is considered “zoomed in” vs.”zoomed out”…I would greatly welcome and appreciate the feedback :D)))

Thanks for posting such a detailed, clearly explained and easy-to-follow description of your strategy. I’ve visited this site hundreds of times, but have rarely encountered such clarity. Your offering quickly increased my score by over 10,000 points.

BTW – “zoomed out” would be the proper term, but I understand the confusion as it’s often misused.

I improve +5K to 114.470. Just to pass 3* 2B or even rare 3B is possible. To go over 109K I went sliding over right edge of the Nest-Ship starting sabre crawl a bit before. I play at different screen sizes. last time with Blind Shots.

AA @lesleyg – For me – Max screen / Maximised screen / Zoomed in, Increased, like at PC – Ctrl + (110% and more), to view more details, magnifier background but loosing picture of all possible scenery. This set is the best for the Blind Shoot – aiming at object outside of screen.

Mid screen / Middle screen – anything between.

When you are at Minimal screen / Zoomed out / Minimalised, PC / Ctrl – (90% and less) your game screen coudn’t be more reduced. Your view is full possible (at games), lack of details, you lost precision (this last one is not always true at AB games) etc.

PS. Maximized / Minimized screen terminology look more confident to me. It’s like adjusting touch screens by fingers. Fingers goes closer together = minimalisation, fingers recedes / move away – maximalisation of a screen.
