Angry Birds Star Wars 2 Escape to Tatooine Level B2-15 Walkthrough

One non-character swap strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars II Escape to Tatooine level B2-15 is to fling Yoda to barely graze the first two helicopters and onward into the main tower. Yoda should destroy the towers on the right while the helicopters fail and detonate the left half of the level. The score in the video below is 94,110.

I am finding that matching the degree of zoom in the video matters more in SW2 than other AB games. I tried this strategy several times without success before I remembered to match the zoom level. Once I did that I got 3 stars first time. :)

do u mean match zoom to allow u to better duplicate the video shots or do u believe your device zoom effects your gameplay???

Before I played by tilt left one of double copters to the R side (max 74K). Now +1K by film method.

Exactly like the video, but you need also some luck. Very often the right bottom pig (next to Sebulba) stays alive.

Believe it or not I think this bird is actually pretty repeatable in this particular level ;-) I’ve got a few duplicate scores and he pretty much behaves in the same manner for the most part…either you get all piggies EXCEPT the annoying bottom right green one by the wooden cube or you don’t, lol ;-) Which is why I chose to tap right on that annoying piglet just as soon as Yoda flies slightly over the left copter. More often then not, once I got the path right, I was able to get him. After Yoda activates the copters, he will cut in a bit lower through the wood and hit that pig directly and then ricochet back and forth up through the two towers…of course sometimes he starts at the top and works his way down. You have to get him to go low between the towers at some point for higher scores.

I had several 96K+ scores and a previous high of 97060 and several “near misses” (with one pig left dangling by a hair) for 99K and 100K scores which I took screenshots of so I could see where the trajectory was in reference to the rock he passes by in the background. I noticed on the good scores it was in the exact same path every time…so I sent him in the same trajectory which you will see in my screenshot here:

I tapped that little green monster and Yoda nailed him and ricocheted all the way up the towers and landed me Top Score of 101440, Yippie…for now anyway ;-) I hope this helps out 8-)

Thanks for this tip, @lesleyg! It never occurred to me that it mattered where I clicked on the screen to activate Yoda. I was having the same problem as that everyone reported here, managing to destroy everything except that one pesky pig. I wasn’t able to get anywhere near your high scores — I think I just couldn’t mange the exact combination of timing and location of the click — but I was quite happy to 3* this level and move on.

Your tips and strategies are always so helpful; thank you so much for sharing them!

@lesleyg I really don’t believe that where you tap/click on the screen makes any difference with Yoda, but you have the high score and I don’t. So…….I’m tapping on the annoying pig.

I sure hope to keep Top Score but with all these talented flingers zeroing in on today’s Challenge…it’s not likely it will last, Yikes! ;-)))

@lesleyg ~ All this time playing AB-SW2 and I had no idea there was some degree of control where Yoda went by where the screen was tapped. Thank you for sharing that great tip!

@lesleyg, thank you for posting your excellent strategy and screenshot reflecting the trajectory you used to get your “still” top score! Congratulations!

On today’s challenge, I was able to increase my score by using the same trajectory you described but instead of tapping the “little green monster”, I’ve been tapping the left side of my iPad screen when Yoda is over the center of the left copter blades and that seems to work okay too; although not okay enough for an underdog badge. Thanks again! : )

Yay @lulu2all ;-) I’m glad it helped you too! As I mentioned above…I noticed that if I just kept repeating the same trajectory…I would eventually defeat the “little green monster” as did you, no matter the “tapping point” used- whatever works, right ;-)

I’m sorry you haven’t got the doggie badge ;-( but…not too sorry if you know what I mean ,tee hee :))) At least you have a nice improved score!!!

@lesleyg “repeatable” my foot!! I’m really struggling with today’s challenge. I noticed in your screenshot that it appears as though you played this completely zoomed out – is that correct?

Thank you @rubeeinthesky ;-) And to answer your question, Yes…I always play completely “zoomed out”…that is if we are referring to where you can see the whole screen at once…I always get confused as to how others portray this, lol…for me zoomed out is where you can see the whole screen ;-) GL

@cyborgaa – if you read the comment where it says: “my previous high of “97060” and SEVERAL ‘NEAR MISSES’ ( with one pig left dangling by a hair) for 99K and 100K scores”…meaning…if I had got the one pig left hanging on by a hair…the score would have been 99K and 100K. They were literally “near misses” so I knew the trajectory would work for scores in this range. So I kept flinging with the same trajectory and finally got them all for my final score ;-) GL ;-)))

Excellent! 3 stars and 93,060 on first try. Even better, a pretty cool Yoda with his ears going through the propellers. Very reliable strategy, TX.
