Boss fight! One strategy to defeat the Space King in Pig Bang level 1-30 is to wait for him to fill all bubbles, which maxes out around 10. Then send birds through the top-most bubbles, causing a cascade of vegetables and boulders. Note that hitting his buggy with birds, or hitting its roof, does not do significant damage. Instead, you want to hit the wheels and chassis. Disable his buggy using less than three birds should nearly guarantee three stars.

Took me 2 birds but got a score of 90,380. I waited for mostly meteors to be hovering right over and aimed high.

Yep, get it right and 1 or 2 bird finishes are easy! 86k with 2 birds, so I guess a lucky one bird has the potential for 98-100k ish :)

Grrr. Spent all day yesterday boucing birds off his canopy. Wanted to three star everything all by myself. Should have come here earlier, first try hitting the boulders 81k. Kinda cool when he flips the cart over on himself though.
Three starsb with one bird, 83K. An interesting way is to send the red bird near the boss’ bubble producing conception, and if the red bird/popped meteors keeps popping the bubbles right at the outlet, the meteors just keep crashing into it continuously.

Two birds. Same strategy…101K+ Sort of makes up for Nigel….LOL
So far I have 95465 as my high and got it with only 2 birds left. All the points come from the stuff in the bubbles so the more you can pop without ending the level the better. Also wait between each fling until the max amount of bubbles are out.

Tip: the more damage you cause to the buggy, the more bubbles come out. For maximum points you want to get the buggy into it’s “critical damage” stage and wait for the max. amount of bubbles to appear. Then destroy the buggy.
Did a similar method. I tried making sure that a bird popped lots of bubbles and let one/two boulders hit the buggy. Did this with 3 birds and 48k, had 4 birds remaining.
One bird: waited for lots of bubbles to come out and for those to be over him, then fired…
I kept killing him in 2 or 3 birds and couldn’t get three stars for anything. Accidently got him in one bird and just barely made three stars. I’ve got to wait a while I guess before I fire the first bird. Never thought I’d say it but for me he dies to easily! LOL

I scored in Pig Bang 2 015 650 Points. The Game Center gives to me 1 992 230 Poimts. What’s about the difference? Who can explain.

Wow!!! What a level…I couldn’t get three stars on this for nothing then…one bird did the trick, just finally waiting long enough which I was doing all along but finally hit red bird at the right stone which bounced on another stone bubble and another and BAM!!! who’s the Boss now…lol…not a very high score though but good enough for now!

Just got high score at 118585 after being stuck at 88000 for awhile. Used 6 birds, hit a lot of meteors, but most of the meteors fell to the ground.
that’s the hard part, not hitting the buggy with the stones, this is the trick for a good score.. you need a lot of luck, and a lot of destruction of the stones..

I don’t undetstand..does the buggy self destruct or do you actually have to hit it 3 times in a row? Or do the bu bles desyroy it without using birds..I am confused ay explanation ssry:( I am easily confused so ya know :(
The buggy self-destructs itself after you hit it with stones or carrots that are constantly coming out from the ship. Also you have to pop a bubble for dropping a stone or carrots using a bird.
For getting good scores, let atleast 7 or 8 bubbles come out and float in the air and then release the bird. This guarantees the maximum probability of dropping more stones :)
I wouldn’t call that sef- destructing…if you have to fire a bird and hit drop stuff on the buggy that kinda the idea of the level right? Or am I still misunderstanding?
What I meant was that the buggy would turn upside-down after it has been hit 3 times. It won’t pass the level or anything. It’s just a fun thing to watch.
well sometimes in another computer, I found the bubbles crushing each other, self destructing the buggy with no birds. Is this an error to the version?
And also, when the king pigs throw bubbles we got some score. If I just wait for an hour what will happen?
Still, it helps for the bubbles to be somewhat in alignment. Too much randomness can easily cause you to miss out on the three stars.
Oh those bad piggies are up to no good again, especially on this level. If you are thinking that this level is anything like the 29 before it, then it’s time to think different. First, there might be a good reason there are nearly enough birds to field a baseball team sitting over near the slingshot. Second, the early bird may get the worm, but it won’t nab the top score for this level. My last hint: it’s not about what hits the “rover” vehicle going back and forth. In fact, the more you can avoid hitting it anywhere but on the dome that protects the big pig, the better your chances are of racking up a score greater than five digits. Aloha to all my birds of a feather. Now get the flock out of here and beat my score on this level already!

I am using more of the birds to try to get more points.
The score I have now, 90935 obtained with one bird.
I am trying to hit the bubble dome instead of the lower part of vehicle.
In fact I hit the dome 10 times and nothing happened.
Would there be a chance you could be a little more specific. I am not good a reading “between the lines”.

Finally after 1 week playing this level I reached a decent score. 20k with the first bird, 40k after the second, 60k after the 3rd and killing it with the Lazer for 95k + 3 left birds.
Reload whenever the 1st bird doesn’t give you a score over 10k plus a maximum of 2 hits on the vehicle – it is a waste of time to continue.

I was stuck at 108 for a very long time, getting very frustrated realizing that I will loose #1 if I can’t improve here or at level 29. I was only hoping for a score around yours and couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the 125k.
Think I will move on the Cold Cut soon, might only do a few 1000 more tries on level 29 ;-)

You have to defeat levels in order, and you must watch the opening cutscene first (it’s the little asteroid with the TV on it, left of Level 1).
