Pig Bang level 1-27 features a new concept. Notice the flashing red lights atop the two TNT? The two are actually connected: Detonating one will detonate the other! That said, aim the first Blue bird barely above the smaller planet, splitting late to cause the TNT-tower to topple rightward. The two explosions should clear all pigs from the top half of the planet. Use another Blue bird to pop the final pig.

One bird is doable and gets a score of at least 78900. Aim blue directly at small front planet splitting him so a bird goes to either side – each of these smaller blues will wreck the bottom and top structures and the remote detonattion will clear the one in the center.
Thanks for this strat! It’s quite cool when you hit the far tnt by having a bird come back at it from behind! It’s almost like a blue boomerang bird! :)

This is the strategy but throttle right back. Birds will split and rotate around planet hitting TNT on left and taking out all pigs.
A score of at least 76K. Nevertheless,this strat helped me surpass 80K at long last.

I found that in AB:Space,all birds can pull off a reverse boomerang shot…
So….
Alternate strat: 1 or 2 birds.
Forget about that small planet… We’re young for the topmost, far TNT
Bird 1: reverse it, meaning shoot it backwards… You will see the path boomerang back toward the planet, this makes it faster sometimes, and more velocity equals more force. So aim it so the path puts it on a straight trajectory for the TNT… But the planet will pull it from that path. So split bird just as you pass the little moon and the highest of the three birds should make it to TNT. If not, so much damage to ice often blows the TNT anyway. Since the other TNT also goes off (though until I read the walkthru I had no idea why), the final pig also dies about half the time.
Bird 2: kill last pig if there is one.
Edit: difficulty level: hard. @playdbird strat is easier and seems able to achieve similar scores, so I prefer it.
Still, there is something to be said for the power of a reverse shot…. In this case you have to aim the bird high, but if you ever get the chance to reverse it so it gets good distance from the gravity well, then gravity has longer to act on it, usually leading to a harder impact.

This reverse boomerang is cool but seriously difficult to pull off have not managed the one birder with this strategy yet. Will have a few more flings in my efforts for 500,000 blocks achievement.
Shoot the 1st bird into the bottom tnt by barely going under the smaller planet. Use the 2nd bird to kill any remaining pigs.
Kept at this and got 80080 with one bird.

I was getting a one birdie by aiming under the planet and splitting them to take out ice from under bottom pig and from under bottom tnt which caused the bottom tnt to explode and got everybody but thanks to PlayDBird’s method I just improved my score by 5K so thanks for the great strat!

Lol….I know I’m way behind…I wasn’t feeling well this past week and wasn’t able to play much…but I’m better now so here I come, lol!
Aim the laser at the first plant as stated above, but keep it in the lower space between the two horizontal ice blocks that point to the slingshot. Explode the bird at when is it directly below the dull lite start in the background half way between the slingshot and the first planet. One bird should go to the left of the small plant and two birds to the right of the small plant with one taking out the lower pig and the other taking out the tnt on the top of the plant. My present score was obtained this way. I wonder if there is another technique to get 5,000 more points. I am missing something somewhere.
Target the blue bird to the smaller moon then split it! The blue bird hit the helmet pig the other blue bird hit the closest pig near the TNT in the center the last blue bird directly hit the TNT on above and boom! It exploded and destroy the remaining pigs and i got score: 79370
PlayDbirds strategy works well. It is ok if you “bounce” the split blue bird of the sides of the smaller planet. The one headed for the bottom of the larger planet, come back around, and detonate the tnt on top, having the same effect.

Unsure if this qualifies as an alternative strategy; it is a derivation of the video-walkthrough above. In the video, note how the bb is aimed directly at the center ice pillar, and note where the bb is split about half way between the slingshot and the small planet. Instead,…
Aim the bb slightly higher than the video, toward the middle of the gap between the tall ice pillar and the topmost ice block. Split the bb immediately before it leaves the slingshot (the little white spot indicator that shows where the bb was split should be well to the left of the slingshot). For the “perfect” shot:
1) the topmost split-bb will skirt around the top of the small planet and break the right ice-leg of the western tower of the large planet causing it to collapse toward the north while detonating both TNTs;
2) the middle split-bb will bounce off of the top of the small planet and collapse the north tower of the large planet;
3) IMPORTANT: the bottom split-bb should bounce off of the bottom of the small planet and collapse the southwest tower of the large planet. If it doesn’t, consider resetting and trying again to save time. Otherwise, if you wait, there is a slight chance that flying debris may eventually pop the pig anyway, but it is a rare occasion.
With this slight strat-variation, a one-bird clear is possible with regular scores in the 83k+ range in about 10-15% of attempts. I worked on this strat a couple of hours tonight (at work :) until I got my current high score of 87260. I once had 56k+with one-bird; most everything was gone except that stubborn pig in the southwest (reminds me of me on the lower left coast, USA :) So, scores of 91k or more certainly seem possible.

@dseufert Hope you don’t think I have any doubt about the description of your shot. I am just wondering how you get the bird to split before it leaves the slingshot. Best I can do is just barely to the right of it.
@jtwade Hmmm… that’s odd. I haven’t played this level since last summer. After reading your comment, I went back today and played it a few times. You’re right. I can’t get the bb to split like I described before, that is, before it leaves the slingshot (on the left), either. Used to be that you could lift your thumb and immediately put it back down again, in a fraction of a second, to get the bb to split very quickly before it left the slingshot. Now I can’t repeat it. I wonder if something was changed in an update since last summer.
I was able to get a couple of high scores in just a few minutes, however, even though the bb split just to the right of the slingshot and not to the left. One attempt I got 84k and another I got 86k. I used a very quick double tap to split the bb immediately. But you’re right. I can’t get the bb to split on the left anymore. Not sure why.
@dseufert Thanks for letting me know you can’t seem to get it to split as early as before. Was really wondering if it was just me not being able to do it for some reason.
Also would like to thank you for your other strategies you have posted. They have helped me a lot to raise my scores.
