Golden Rover #2 (E-R2) is located on level 5-12 of Angry Birds Space Red Planet. Zoom out and you will see the Rover on the extreme southeast of the level. Use the Lazer bird to reach the Rover by flinging south of the planets. Once you hit the egg you’ll immediately be transported via a wormhole to the level, which pays homage to the Sojourner Rover. One strategy 3-starring this level is to fire Orange birds just below the small asteroids to fling them toward the piggies and crystals above, maximizing your score!

170530 – two Orange birds, and lots of crystals, plus structural damage.
Red Planet: i won the first golden eggsteroid, decided to play it later, but it doesn’t appear on the golden eggsteroid screen. Help me to find it please.

Here is my PAT for this one.
1st Bird – Aim at the small ice block on top of the ramp. Activate OB just before impact so he pushes everything up and to the right. You want to make sure he leaves a pretty big gap between the two remaining hollow wood squares and their stone triangle bases.
2nd Bird – You need to get this bird as close to the last pile of rocks as possible and manually activate so the bird pushes as much debris as possible up and to the right to get caught in the heat vent. It’s really neat when you get it just right. But, it takes some work.

That’s some impressive shooting!!! I’ve managed 170220 so far…I can’t seem to leave a clean second shot. Nice scores guys ;-)
That is pretty much what I did except I’ve let OB bloats by itself after impact so debris took down all of the crystals on the left side.
Second bird was pure luck :)
It is very strange that the best shot is held. My friend even 177k, but it is not on this site are registered.

Sorry, but I do not understand your question. What I put into account the rover 3? I have entered my account, which got me easily, and often repeated. My friend here at 177 K, but it does not participate in this site.

High scores call for a very lucky first shot. Shoot though the near staircase just above the second step from the top and let it inflate by itself. This shot has to accomplish three things:
1) take out all of the crystals to the left (yes, all of them)
2) kick up the pebbles on the ground between the wooden structures
3) part the right hand structure, creating a pocket for the second shot.
The second shot blasts the rest of the debris either straight up or toward the steam vent, taking out the remaining pigs. Generally aim for the closest wheel of the trebuchet and inflate manually. The crystals to the right of the screen are out of bounds unless you get a lucky bounce.
I find that this gives a 180k score every 20 or so tries. My 187k score was particularly lucky and came after hundreds of attempts.
Best 4B – up to 164K. Best 3B – 167. Best 2B – over 170K (twice up to now). Try pas first tower under aiming at right wedge to lift this too things same time. Second shoot depends on situation.
