Angry Birds Space Fry Me to the Moon Level 3-10 Walkthrough

One strategy for Fry Me to the Moon level 3-10 is fire the Lazer bird into the small horizontal stone plank near the top of the Space Needle. This should cause the tower to topple eastward and onto the TNT. If necessary, use the Ice and Blue birds to destroy the structure on the west side. Breaking those three mushrooms on the west isn’t a bad idea either. As another alternative, the top of the Space Needle is rather unstable and occasionally will collapse on its own, so perhaps a zero-bird completion is possible.

If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments, as that's what the leaderboards are for.

Fun Fact: As mentioned above, this level pays homage to the Space Needle, located in Seattle, Washington, USA.

I think this is another level (besides Danger Zone Level 4) which the admins here can feedback to Rovio asking them to make a change (simple solution is to just add a few birds) so as to be fair to the newer players who can no longer complete it with a 0-birder.

Probably you didn’t read my earlier comment properly. The problem with DZ4 is the same as this one; older players could complete with 0-birder and newer players cannot. I posted a more detailed comment about this for that level.

Level 3-10 in Fry Me to the Moon is still locked even though I have 3 stars in the first 9 levels. Has anyone seen this??

Is it really the case that the scoring possibilities differ by the platform on which one plays? If there are 0 bird options on Android phones but not on other devices, then trying to climb the ranks on the leader boards is pointless.

I cannot make that second shot. I’ve done it exactly as the video shows, and I still end up with one frozen pig in the bottom. The most I’ve been able to get using the third bird is 129,610. Can anyone tell me how to get more destruction so I can use the third bird and still three star this level? It’s making me nuts.

@AMslimfordy Thanks. I finally did get enough destruction that my third bird got me to 120,000+. With the extra 10,000 for the fourth bird, I just barely got 3 stars. Whew.

Has anyone else ever got part of the planet to blow up on your first shot at the tower? I have. I got total destruction of everything to the right of the stone and ice block structure plus part of the planet. I finished the level with my second shot and beat my old high score of 151k with a new high score of NAN. Has anyone ever got a score of letters instead of numbers? I have. LOL You don’t want it. It reset my score to zero.

I was able to get a new two bird high score of 158820. I shot the first bird at full speed at the middle weak spot on the tower just after the egg starts to travel downward. Second bird quickly at the stone and glass block structure on the left. I don’t think anyone will catch @fidslady after they fixed her zero bird solution, but you can get fairly close with this two birder.

Do you have a screenshot that shows the destruction of the planet? It must be a weird sighting. (I had not noticed your message here until I tried to complete the Moon of Endor episode and read your message there mentioning it.)

But the flingin’ Gods took mercy on me and within a couple of hours gave me a fantastic two bird score. Actually it was a couple of days later. I was scared to fling much after losing my score. I kept hoping there was a recovery method out there.

Actually, I am wondering whether your 158k two-birder may be even more impressive than your NaN. It is true that there are so much debris left even when reaching 150k, but succeeding in breaking an extra 8k more is just astonishing.

It impressed me when I got it @Sglouk. I’d been flinging at it off and on for over a year before the planet blew up. Then got my new high score within days of the planet blowing up. Go figure.

The reason I was looking at this again was I just blew up another planet. This time in Beak Impact #2, level 8-27. I got a great score a few turns before it blew up and gave me a score of NAN again. Why is no one else reporting this problem?

Actually, @lyrian reported the problem of Beak Impact, both here and at Rovio, see http://www.angrybirdsnest.com/forums/topic/angry-birds-bugs-glitches/page/3/ , but his description of the problem seemed a bit different from what you described here (it crashed before the “NaN”). It is interesting to note that the problem arose on a different platform than yours.

Btw, what is according to you the best first shot for 3-10? I have tried several techniques, without being able to decide which was the best. Also, I have noticed that sometimes the top part of the tower keeps floating in the air when the middle part had been destroyed by the TNT. I presume you also got this. Is it a glitch, or something due to a connection (through the red light) between the tower, the egg and the mustached pig?

I might have gotten the NaN score the second time that I blew up the planet on 8-27, but I forced the application to close before the game could finish tallying my score. I was worried that it might break my game or lose my scores so I did not allow the level to finish. There is a screen shot in my album if anyone would like to see what it looked like. Still no word back from Rovio, even though I reported it about a week ago.

I have finally managed to damage the planet as well, see
http://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/sglouk/album/picture/9793/

I have the impression that I achieved even more damage than you, but with three surviving pigs. I started second shot before damaging planet, and it was quite inefficient. Then, BB failed to kill more than one pig (I still wonder how I could miss this, but maybe the game had become unstable), but launching BB reset my score to 0. Then, the most bizarre thing happened with Terrence. Whereas he was flying toward the last two pigs, I took a last picture of this, and he suddenly vanished in the air. The disapearance happens to be visible (if I may say) on the picture I took, but I do not know whether it was related to this. Here is the picture:

http://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/sglouk/album/picture/9794/

So, in the end, I got a “Level failed!” instead of the long awaited “NaN”.
