Angry Birds Space Cold Cuts Level 2-25 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Cold Cuts level 2-25 is to send the Blue bird up, barely touching the planetoid’s gravity field. That should arch him down into the top part of the structure. Now send the next blue bird down into the bottom part of the structure, taking it out and the rest of the pigs.

If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments, as that's what the leaderboards are for.

I wasted 2 blue & ended up failing because:
1. 1 Top-right pig wasn’t popped.
2. I used the Lazer to go to the Bubble Bobble level.

When you try to replicate your result, can you get within 5,000 points of your top score? If the answer is no, then either you got absurdly lucky or your leftover Lazer bird was double-counted (although I’m not actually sure if that problem has been seen in Space). It’s quite hard to get even the amount of damage needed for three stars, much less nearly 12k more than that.

I got my score with a one-birder after failing to achieve three stars with two birds. I aimed for the bottom structure, but a little “higher” on the structure (i.e. lower on the screen) and split a little earlier than in the video. If I remember right, the “bottom” split blue bird went straight through the ice of the structure to the TNT and cleared much of the level, while the “top” split blue bird made a complete revolution around the planet before continuing on to hit the ice on the left side of the top structure, causing it to collapse and kill the remaining pig. There was obviously quite a bit of good luck involved in that last step, but this should generally be an achievable strategy.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to come off as critical of the method. It obviously works pretty well given that most of the three-star scores seem to use it. I was just having an inordinately difficult time with it; it was one of those occasions where I got stuck in some sort of rut firing the birds at the wrong angles and splitting them at the wrong times. That said, it certainly appears to have limited “upside,” except apparently for BirdsMakeMeAngry…?

By Byrd

After a few hours of painfully trying to get 3 stars, I have a (relatively) consistent method, a small variation on the video. Now, the technique is essentially the same as the video but the other way around. So we are aiming for the bottom structure near the TNT. The key here is, when aiming, make the dots point to the middle of the structure where the wooden and glass pieces meet. When you fire, split the birds straight after they enter the gravity field. If you are lucky (say, 1 in 10 times) the birds will fly “through” this structure, hit the TNT etc as in the video. The benefit to this exact method is that it produces a little more damage initially and serves as a good indicator to if you should bother with the next shot or not. If you achieve over 34,000 points with the first bird you are in a very good position to get 3 stars, since you only need to get 20,000 point with the next bird hitting the top structure and killing the remaining 2 pigs. I like this method because you can easily repeat the first shot until you get a good first score. It’s still hard, but I have managed 3 stars about 5 times in about 15 minutes, as opposed to once in about 3 hours. As a side note, I found it easier to rotate my device 90 degrees anti clockwise so the big planet is at the top.

Stupid (??) question: I popped that yellow egg underneath the left planet. That took me into some level E-4 (?), from which I “return”ed to do it later.
Now I can’t find it any more, the yellow egg is gone, and there is no list of eggs in my overview; like it used to be in the original AB.
Where is that level??

Top score proof in case necessary:

One birder, counterclockwise. I split early after entering gravitational field. Two birdlets destroyed bottom structure and ignited TNT. Last birdlet orbited once and a half around the planet, and was lucky enough not to hit anything before reaching upper structure. Score at this point was 33.7k, which is good but not perfect (my best here was 34.9k), but then I had an unusually efficient collapse of upper structure which led to top score. Scores in the high 77k’s are certainly possible provided this unusual collapse can be combined with a very good first shot, but it is unclear how frequent this can be.

I recorded this run, so as soon as I am able to extract the few seconds of the successful attempt, I will put it online.
