A good strategy for Cold Cuts level 2-24 is to barely catch the gravitational field with the Ice bird, causing him to freeze the bottom-left of the tower. Blast through the frozen blocks with the Blue bird, then detonate the TNT with the Lazer bird.

Control of the lazer bird’s momentum is the key, top-down dive is advisable for maximum effectiveness.
With a perfectly placed ice bird to the lower left corner, you can get the house in the gravity field to collapse on it’s own.
Then use the exploding blue birds to aim at the top most glass blocks and burst them just before they get there. This blew up the rest of the pigs and blocks.
With the netting of the 20K bonus for the remaining two birds, I ended up with a score of 93380
For me to get this to happen “perfectly placed” meant aiming the ice bird to just skim the gravity field and bend into the tower that way. Doesn’t happen every time, but be patient with the method.
That’s just the way I did it :), I hadn’t been this far in the walkthroughs yet . Great minds think alike, don’t they?

Patience is the key here. Also don’t burst the Ice Bird manually because it might not cover more area with ice and also with Blue Birds try to create as much as damage you can. Hope I helped :)

The second shot is difficult if the first bird doesn’t collapse the house and start floating the strucure. It’s easier to get the tnt when the top part is starting to move so you have a better shot at the tnt.

Just got the top score on the leaderboard: same method as John above, but not as many points. @John –Why didn’t you post your score?
@mvnia2 – could your level 2-24 and 2-25 scores be reversed on the leaderboard? The score that shows on this level isn’t near the top, and your 2-25 score is Way higher than everyone else. I’ve entered on the wrong level before, know how easy it can be to hit the wrong button!
Sigh! ; ( You’re right! Now I won’t know if I ever had the top score on either. Probably not, I guess.
Sorry … I think the excitement of the top score is overrated … which is why I took a screenshot of the leaderboard when I had one! Fame is so fleeting ;-)

I’ve spent a lot of time with this one. Got 95k several times, can’t seem to get to 97k. I suppose 100k is possible if you get really lucky and get good fallout.
Yep , I finally hit as close to a perfect shot as I’ve ever hit on this level to get to 98K, first shot to collapse the lower structure, second shot into a slightly tilted upper structure exploding the TNT and raining just about all of the upper structure onto the planet, plus the left most structure on the planet surface also happened to collapse. Not sure how the top score of 106K was achieved although I could imagine a shot where the lower structure collapses and puts enough force into the structure above the planet to tilt it and set off the TNT resulting in a 1-birder.

I am not sure what happened. I always play zoomed in so I did not saw “upstairs”.
I aimed first bird like anyone else an quickly panned back to slingshot to shoot blue bird as soon as possible. I Already armed slingshot and then TNT went off. Slingshot was armed and scores were 96k. Just waited with slingshot armed to level end, and hoped to not accidentally release second bird.
Thanks for this comment. I’ve been trying all sorts of variations of the method in the video to elevate my score, one of which was to quickly fire the second bird similar to what you describe. On a recent attempt the TNT exploded as I (unfortunately) fired the second bird which of course struck nothing. This produced a score of around 88,000 therefore had I been able to exercise some control with the second bird the score would have been 98,000 as a 1-birder. I have not been able to repeat this. I’ve tried maybe a 1000 times (and will keep trying).
Used a strategy similar to John.
1. For the first bird, I aimed it at about 4/5 to the top of the wooden roof, gravity should be able to pull the bird down to hit a snow block holding the structure, and clear out the bottom half. Gives about 30k-37k.
2. Second bird is like John’s: aim at the 2 small glass blocks and split just before impact. There is about a 1/3 chance that the TNT would explode and take care of the rest of the pigs. Range of >60k scores from here.
3. 20k bonus from remaining birds.
