Angry Birds Space Cold Cuts Level 2-22 Walkthrough

The best strategy for Cold Cuts level 2-22 is to send the Black bird directly toward the first baby pig. Detonate the explosion above the cluster of asteroids to send the whole structure plummeting to the planet’s surface.

Got 117730!

I was concerned that the bird on top that was thrown in to outer space wasn’t counted by the points. But in my video it’s clear it does count. At the end the bird (that’s of the map) is added to my score :)

Here’s my proof/video

Watching that video, there is some off screen structure up there that is also adding to the points when the pig hits it. You received more points than just the 5,000 for the lost pig.

I got some pretty high scores with a different strat. There are two big free floating boulders to the left of the big connected pile attached to the pigs. If you BARELY graze the the left bigger free floating boulder on it’s right side, the bomb bird will slightly hit the boulder just enough to send it up to make contact with the big ice blue boulder which will split in three and cause more damage while bomb bird should still roll on up enough to land about midway up on the first chain and ignite bomb, the explosion will take out top pig and bring the others and the chains and boulders attached into the planet. It’s got to land above the mass of boulders or it won’t work. It is a really hard shot but the free boulders turn clockwise and counter clockwise so it helps if you wait for the boulder to be turning counter clockwise as this will help with the upward momentum needed to have bird go more up rather than right because if you hit the boulder too much it goes too low on the mass of boulders and you need it to land above them. It is really tricky but have repeated it about 4 times for scores ranging from 118K to my present high of 122300 (Top Score, yeah!!!)GL

I was trying very hard to see if I could make this shot, and missed several times. Then, out of the blue, I missed it again, but the bird still went up much like the more standard approach. Somehow, though, it did serious damage (I have a feeling it was the extraneous bird in the ship that goes off the screen to the other planet) and I nearly wet myself when my score was 122,860. While I’m consistently pretty good at this game, it’s been a very long time since I’ve had a top score.

@lesleyg and @doctonynyc
It’s the third rock counting from left to right you’re aiming at? First two are small ones and third is a bigger one.

I guess this must be my unlucky level. The grey boulder did hit the ice boulder several times, but not enough to let it go off. The times it did go off the big asteroidcluster stopped an inch of hemisphere.

Do you remember which part of the boulder you hit back then?

@z0z0, I’m sorry I didn’t see your question until now. I guess it’s too late, atleast for the Challenge, but yes, it was the third one from the left. The first two being the small ones and the bigger, third one is what I was referring to and as far as where I hit it, yes I remember it well! As I said previously, I just barely grazed it on it’s right side. It should go up and hit the icy asteroid but most importantly, the bomb bird must not be stopped too much by the hit because it needs to go on up to land and explode at about midway up the left chain. It is a difficult shot but when it cooperates, it’s great ;-)Good Luck if you try and come back to get it!

I need the L factor and the whine factor, so here goes: whine, whine, whiiiiiinnnnne. That just might do the trick. Thanks again, for the strategy.

BTW, privacy.net IS a valid email address! It was set up to be a spam dump for users that do not want their real addresses in databases. You are doing me a dis-service by denying it.
I know you will delete this, but at least I got my 2 cents in!

116,000 with two birds. First shot left the baby pig floating in space, so I played billiards with the remaining asteriods to pick it off and crash them into the planet for extra points. Don’t think I could do it again even if I tried.
