1-birder for 96040 by passing just in front of pipe elbow through large pig in top structure. Red bird hit bumper & bounced across to get lone pig on opposite side & allowing even more debris to fall down.

@oppugno11 can you please check your score? It’s more than 10k over #2 (mine is currently #3). If not an input error, please share your strategy as I can’t see another 10k + of debris remaining in my pic. Thanks

Same strat for current #2, but I agree about the HS. There were anly 2 or 3 boxes left when I got 98870.

@justpast40 @zebung There are several scores above 100k .. I’m really dissapointed that the high scorers aren’t posting there strats in these mirror levels also, even if it’s the same as the walkthroughat least say so.
@oppugno11 congrats on the great score! maybe you could share with the rest of us how you managed it?

@justpast40 I’m not understanding your strat ? do you mean your aiming straight down into the top structure? on which side of the pipe? my red goes no where near the bumper if ido that:/

@kathy A pixel or two to the right/upper/above (?) side of the pipe. Have gotten 98K and 9K lots of times, but nowhere near 106. Still not sure that is a legit score until I see a screenshot. No offense @oppugno11. But then again I see 3 Cert. Nesters right below, so I’m probably wrong – just don’t know where those extra points come from. Screen shot/alt strat please! Waiting to hear!

@zebung Thanks for the reply , i still don’t get it though maybe i just need more patience , my bird just goes straight down no where near the bumper:( I’ll keep trying
. but i can assure that the flingers above 100k as @burpie @rat9 are legitimate scores they are well known reputable flingers. i don’t know @oppungo11 so i cannot vouch for that score but seeing as several have achieved 100k i also cannot dispute it:/

Hi @kathy, yes almost straight down. If I initially wrote ” just in front of pipe elbow ….” then I shot just the inside of the elbow (in justpast40 speak if the elbow is where clock hands would be affixed to a clock face then just inside elbow is 6:00 & outside elbow would be 12:00.

Now I’m not saying red hitting bumper wasn’t lucky, but when just trying a piece of debris hit bumper & almost made it. In a few tries red has not hit bumper & I honestly don’t know how long I tried.

I’ve not revisited these mirror levels unless I fall below average …. Way too many, but it looks like with your 100k you got something to work.

I hear you on lack of posts. I wish it were required, but I’m in the minority. I’m still hoping @oppugno11 will reply to my request from 3 wks ago or yours today.

Thanks @justpast40 your aiming point was spot on :) i reduced speed a tad off the sling but aimed exactly where you said. red indeed bounced off the bumper to hit the tall stack with the ugly pig, while debris rained down to take out the lower stuff on planet.
In these mirror levvels you never know what happens and its good to see flingers post Something lol Anything! thank you for posting. And yes it would be nice to see top scorers post how they did it;)

This is another one of those two pixel wide one-birders.
Aim at the edge of the wood plank above the plumbing. Medium power.
That’s all there is to it.
Sorry for posting so late on this one, but in my defense, I played it for the first time only one week ago.

I used the strat from @rat9 (who else), but I mark this as a new strat besause I implemented a crucial modification, which has to do with the rarely discussed game physics.

When there is a level with some pieces of debris within a gravitational field (which is the case for most levels, actually), one notices in some levels that the structure very slightly moves at level reset. This is because, I believe, the pieces are *not* put at their rest position, but there is initially a small amount of space between them. Once the level is reset, they then adjust, because of the gravitational field, toward an equilibrium position. This phenomenon is rather quick, not much more than a few seconds, but induces some randomness in the level (as, possibly, some instability see the discussion about it in the forum). As far as I can say, there is no randomness in the pieces offset at start, since no such randomness appears with part outside a gravitational field, but there is some in the way they adjust afterwards. This does not matter however here. In any case, I have noticed on a large number of levels that sending the first bird while the adjustment is not over allows for different, and usually larger amount of destruction. For some reason, this is most easily seen in this level with this particular strat. The issue there is that shooting early is not really compatible with aiming precisely, unless you have the PC version where you can control the mouse with the keyboard and reset with the “R” key (so that you don’t have to change your aiming point between resets; this works of course only for 1-birder solutions). In any case, shooting as early as possible (around 1.5 sec after level reset) greatly improves destruction and crucially helps there.

Like the strategy detailed by @justpast40 and others above. Good to know it’s still working.
