2-“egger” with near total destruction for 234,090: image

First egg under and between the 4th boulder from the left and lava boulder(s). They will gravitate toward each other while falling and lava boulder will turn lava side down. This typically completely clears the left third of the “little town.”

Second egg under and between the next lava boulder and adjacent boulder. Not an easy shot to pull off just right, but when perfect it will “make it rain” — the flying debris will disintegrate both the remaining lava boulder and the green boulder (is that radioactive material or poisonous gas?…shrugs) and all the pieces will fall down for thorough destruction.

Hi @fenikus — Great score! You don’t by any chance have a screen shot of the second shot? When does the green boulder rain? After the laval boulder hits the ground or right after you activate the egg?

Hi @mvnla2, good question! I don’t have a really good recollection of the sequence, but I *think* lava boulders were on the ground or maybe even exploded halfway down. I know it wasn’t right after egg activation because then green whatchamacallit’s start floating up instead of down. In this instance, everything fell down on the ground and created mayhem.

I wanna say I’ll try to catch it on video, but I get a feeling this will not be that easy to repeat (at least for me) — the score just kept going up! FWIW, I think someone will catch a 1-birder that will create same amount of destruction, which means 240K+ scores are possible.

BTW @mvnla2, the screenshot in m original post *is* of the second shot, albeit after all the destruction was complete. It does show the egg trajectory and activation point, however — hope that helps.

There are numerous ways to get a high score on this one. All mine have been two birders but there’s still probably a great one birder out there.
On my highest score so far I shot between the center lava mass and the boulder group on the right side of it. This created a lot of destruction to the center of the planets condominiums and a piece of lava activated the lava grouping on the right which cleared out most of the right side abodes.
2nd shot between the left lava grouping and the boulder mass to the left of it. A piece of lava hit the green boulder mass. Between them, everything is destroyed.
Tip of the day: You can somewhat direct where the lava shards will go by where you activate on the lava groups. Practice closer, further, left, right, center. You’ll see what I mean. Good luck. You need a little on this one.

S-21 revisited. I still stand by my original strategy for potential 240+ scores. On two occasions I was foiled on the second shot by a lone pig surviving on the left side. The second shot looks like an easy shot but has to be accomplished perfectly to get the desired destruction.

But I found an easier first shot. I don’t think the score potential is quite as high, but it is more repeatable which lets you attempt the tough second shot with more frequency. Scores in the 230-236k range with a high of 239k so far.

1st shot: Far right lavasteroid. On my iPad I aim through the bright star at medium power. Increased/decreased power will affect the altitude of your shot and drastically change the outcome. So be as consistent as possible while you search for the sweet spot. Activate between the middle of the lava and the attached boulders on the right. You want the lavasteroid to rotate 90 degrees and fall on the helmeted pig. Very important! It must fall at 90 degrees. One lava bit will travel to the center boulder group causing it to split. One boulder will go up to activate the greenies while the other falls to the surface causing the destruction of the left side of the tall clock(?) tower. Greenies will rain down on the right side of the planet mutating all right side pigs and destroy the remaining debris. The greenies will also push the center lavasteroid toward the planet. All that should remain now are the two far left structures and about four pigs. I have on occasion had the far left lavasteroid become involved for a one birder but never got better than 231k. If it falls correctly, a score of 250k is possible. But it rarely falls.

2nd shot: This is the critical shot because it must bring down the remaining floating boulders as magma bits once the lavasteroid hits the planet. I aim between the remaining lavasteroid on the left and the boulder group to the left of it. As an aiming guide I use the four faint stars below the right of the boulder group. I shoot through the brightest star on the bottom right of that grouping. Activate at about 45 degrees relative to the boulder group. Not the lavasteroid. You want the boulder group to be pulled right and the lavasteroid to be pulled left and rotate about 135 degrees. In other words, you want the lavasteroid to land “almost” flat. The angle it lands is important! You want the lava bits that are projected into space to align with the remaining floating boulder groups. Just watch the lava trajectories and adjust your position. For non-iPad flingers, shoot about one third of the distance between the boulders and the lavasteroid. In other words, closer to the left boulder group.

I know this looks complicated, but once you find the sweet spots, it’s fairly easy and repeatable for 230k+ scores.
Good luck flingers. You too Mrs. Bunny. lol

@Rat9, I flung to same position with you. With 1st egg, I expected boulder fell down to the gound first or lava & boulder did almost together.
For 2nd fling, it’s also same position but I pulled boulder mass first as well. Got the current score with 2 eggs.

Do you mean you wanted to fall down lava group ahead of boulder with 2nd shot?

Rank: Avian Overlord with 16885 points
By Rat (@rat9)Score: 239,250

@Romo, You did correct on the second shot. You want the boulder to hit the planet first, followed by the lava group.

But on the first shot I pulled down just the far right lava group. It sounds like you used my original strategy. It has a higher score potential but is harder to repeat.

Congratulations.

I hated that level. I got stuck for days at 215-216k. I tried any combination of shots (Rat’s, fenikus’, etc), without success. Then, for no apparent reason, I got 231k. I was not then very concentrated on what I was doing, so that I do not remember exactly what happened, but I think that it was with @fenikus strat.

A few tips when using @fenikus strategy (or @Rat’s variant that reverses the shots) that brings down a lavasteroid and a boulder:

You want the lavasteroids to land flat (or pancake for any pilots), as that does more damage, and sends chunx up to the other floating objects. To get the best positioning, activate a bit further away than normal, I’d say 1/2″(13mm).

Also, aim so you’re activating eggy a few pixels closer to the boulder than the lavasteroid. You want the boulders to fall before the lava to knock down the tall structures. This makes it easier for lava chunx to spread evenly across the surface.
