Angry Birds Short Fuse Level 26-3 Walkthrough

One strategy for Angry Birds Short Fuse level 26-3 is to loft Yellow into the stone tower, and push it towards the tnt on the right. Then send a second bird directly into the bottom left pigs to finish off the level. The score in the video below is 75,830.

If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments, as that's what the leaderboards are for.

Yeah, I would not consider those scores valid scores. The scores should be achieved with the three standard birds in the level, which are two yellow, then one big bird. I was unable to figure out how people were scoring this high, but I have power-ups and extras disabled, so I don’t get bonus birds or anything of sorts.

curious how we’re going to keep these scores clean if people are using extra birds with higher powers. @amslimfordy, care to chime in?

I don’t believe such scores are “clean”. I will be working hard over the next few days to establish a clear threshold for what’s possible and what’s not. The scores will certainly be removed (along with all other scores in the episode of any offending user).

For anyone who (accidently or whatever) used a PU, I will be more than happy to check your data files to establish what scores are clean and what aren’t.

The best score – 84.800 / #7 (I take a PS http://angrybir.de/1im4XPa) but 1st one give 3.6K only – this shows reserve points.

2nd shoot as 1st of f91jsw. From time to time triangle bricks roll to the left, fall, cut pipe and made some points.

3rd have open way to attack the base of tall wall which bend like an arc. Bricks goes far right & made some pipe destruction too. Before 81.830, 81.550 and some 79-80K.

looking at that screenshot, 90k seems feasible (but probably not easy) indeed.

unrelated: @amslimfordy, are there synchronization issues?. when logged in everything is up to date, but when not logged in many scores are outdated and some totals differ depending on where you look (for the past 2 days).

Within the app or on ABN?

on ABN (didn’t know there was an app; will check it out :-).

for instance, my total score as shown on the Angry Birds Leaderboard differs from the one on the Total Score Leaderboard. Also, several scores in Angry Birds Fuse I have entered 2 days ago, e.g. 26-12, 26-14, do not show up yet from the outside. Everything is fine when logged in. It seems to affect scores by others as well, since e.g. in the Angry Birds Short Fuse Leaderboard, for this level (25-3) ihatepork’s score is listed as top score whereas your comment below vindicated tns’s higher score. Similarly, in the comments for level 25-12 it appears that grimbley’s score is higher than the listed top score of listed top scorer communistpride.

@amslimfordy: rereading your question i think you probably meant within Angry Birds itself or ABN (not within an ABN app…). sorry for that (and for the ungrammaticalities in the comment and the one above, 1/3th instead of 1/3rd). anyway, the answer is clear i hope, and i also hope the issue can be resolved (should be easy, if it is a real problem at all).

Some details of ABN will run “cached” when logged-in to your account. This is because many features of ABN are only available for registered users. Due to this increased stream of information, some things may appear slightly outdated based on a previous viewing of the site.

“Hard refresh” will force your computer to ignore all cached information on your hard drive. On most browsers, Ctrl+F5 will hard refresh.

thank you for the reply which unfortunately don’t understand exactly. i feel i should, have a degree in cs, but don’t bother and not so relevant as it looks to be ok (up to date) now. although i do think it was a caching issue, i don’t think it was a local one; i make a habit out of clearing caches, cookies, histories etc. and had checked the outdated info persisted even using different devices and different browsers.

@bonneypattycat & @vuelva, even after reading thru all of the above i cannot break 80,000. Bonneypattycat you thank vuelva but i see no strat listed from that user. i know it was a ways back but….any advice? also, i think scoring may have changed after updates!?! crazy making! thanks in advance for any tips you can bestow.

@mars805: although not so prominent (in grey) usernames are present in the comments. mine (@vuelva) is as well, but in my case it’s different from my nickname (to mock a mockingbird), but that nick in turn corresponds well to my avatar (should be to the left of this reply), which shows a mockingbird and pictures are easy to search for.

breaking 80k with my strategy described above is fairly easy, but you will have to repeat until the 3rd slices through (will know what that means when it happens).

For the first bird, when you say to shoot through the middle so that the horizontal woods fall on top of one another without breaking, does that mean the first two horizontal, parallel woods or both sets of parallel woods? I can’t seem to get the shot of all 4 horizontal woods staying in tact. Any suggestions? Thank you for any input you have!! :)

Just a note from the staff.

Current top score from @tns747 of 87,520 is clean. Data files were submitted and confirmed.

Impressive!

@amslimfordy: what about the current top three (88990-89010)? could certainly be legit, but it would somehow surprise me if all three are. in any case, would be interested to know how these have been obtained.

If you run the yellow bird through the pigs above the grey blocks first, it opens up the whole brick wall so you don’t have to be so precise with the yellow bird hitting the ammo boxes.
