Year of the Dragon level 1-7 is a fun one! High arch the Yellow bird so he comes down right on top of the TNT on the bottom left hand side. Occasionally what follows is a cascading path of destruction, leaving the entire bottom structure destroyed and all the pigs hiding therein saying their prayers. Now launch another Yellow bird up to destroy the remaining pigs hiding out on the ledge. The score in the video below is 116,700.

I used the methode as show above, but i changed the order. I first aim for the top, trying to get the boulders to fall down.
This way you don’t have to relie on luck of the fireworks to topple the right structure.

I’ve been switching between methods and was surprised when the video method gave me a one shot score of 124,050.
One bird took it all for 127060. I aimed for just above the bottom boulder on the top right platform. This shoved the board right so that the top boulder fell to the left first and then the bottom boulder followed it. Room for higher score as there was still quite a bit of debris.
Your method worked great one bird did it all. 125980. Took a couple of tries but i think it was easier than the one posted her, Thanks.

I’m really having a hard time one birding this level. Any hint about how you hit above the top boulder ? Which plank are you aiming at ? Which angle ? I’ve spent about 5 hours not managing anything on this level :D
i did both like to walking tall and like the texturl walkthrough slim did. i hit the bottom boulder on the top right platform. then i used a second bird up high and it hit the bomb clearing out that area. then i used a third to get the last piggy. there was still some debris leftover and i could increase my score. got 116010
Got a score of 119690 and I only used one bird, fired the first bird like in the video and the fireworks flew in to both structures and cleared the level!

I guess I am confused because the comment above the walkthrough doesnt match the video, is the comment and video both from from fuji toast?
The description was made before the video was released, that could explain why the two are different.
BirdLeader and I wrote the “textual walkthrough” before Fuji recorded his videos. If I have time this week, I’ll change the text for all YotD levels to match the video.
So after 30 minutes of experimentation, I conclude that the key is to have BOTH boulders to roll down and break the TWO red planks in the middle, as the second red plank is what supporting the right structure. It’s hard, though – I only made it twice, and the second time gained me 117k.
Well this is by far the hardest level for me! I have above average on all other levels!!! Even HAD 1st place for a day and half on level 3… But this one…no luck…I have tried all the helpful tips and TY by the way but it just isn’t working for me…either the boulders don’t fall or one does and even when they do, they do not break the red planks??? Wonder what I’m doing wrong? Can anyone describe exactly where to aim at for the boulders? Any help will be much appreciated!!!

1st yellow – Low into the TNT (rather than straight down into it). The benefit of doing it this way is that it releases the fireworks better which can do lots of damage.
If your lucky, one of the fireworks will hit the top structure, bringing down the boulders for a good one birder. I had a couple of 128k one birders.
Best return was when the top boulders stayed up top. I sent the second yellow flat in between the two to bring them down on to the debris.
Note – its important that both boulders come down on the second shot for a big score.
do any of you get these great scores on the Kindle Fire? I seem to be having a problem with the power of the birds on this and many other Angry Bird games. I can’t get above 106 on this game never the less with 1 bird.
Score 121,860 Hey boops – I finally got a decent score tho still under the average. My platform is Android and it seems that my birds have a lot less power than what the videos show. (when/if I can even view the videos) Do you know what platform they use for the walkthroughs? I’ve read others on the net saying the same thing. I don’t know how much of it is the operator and how much is a software discrepancy between devices.
My method to get the score that I did was to high arch first yb into TNT then 2nd yb between horizontal planks above boulder. Icould get both boulders to fall but only once did they break through both red planks.
I finally did it but I must have tried 1000 times. I have this issue with the Kindle Fire with all bird games, even fully charged its like throwing marshmallows at them. I don’t have an android phone only the Kindle. I have complained to Amazon but there is really nothing they can do.
I have several scores on my Kindle that are better than what I have achieved on my iPhone. I play both regularly, and have not noticed any difference in game play.
I don’t have an iphone-maybe it has to do with the strength of the internet at the time. I don’t know, but very frustrating. I have gotten some pretty high scores on other birds games since my last post. I just keep plugging away.
I have been trying for days to get three stars..I have a score of 112 but not having any luck getting any higher!! I’ve tried several tips let on this page. I’m playing on an andriod..is there anything else I can do???
I would take a break from it for a day or two, and give it another try. Also, many users on ABN believe that “whining” is actually a very good strategy. I wouldn’t be surprised if you get it within, say, 6 tries after taking a short break. :) Good luck!

Amslimfordy advice is very good..sometimes a break will help. I haven’t been here for quite some time ..but I can give you this advice..read all.strats above usually @Angry Advisor has great easy to follow tips..if there is a video by. @E-Star that’s sure fire.. the Whine factor that Amslimfordy speaks if is just like this
