The best strategy for Wreck the Halls level 23 is to use the White bird to bomb the TNT. The lower the trajectory of the White bird, the lower the trajectory of the stones. It takes a few tries, but high scores will follow. Use the Yellow birds as necessary. The score in the video below is 77,080.

1 bird, very high so it comes down toward TNT, but release egg just before hitting it. If you are lucky, the bird and stones knock the house down.
2 birds, 89040. First bird got everything except for one little pig. The 2nd bird got that and knocked the tower over (next to the house).
Heres a trick I found that helps You get most of the rocks to hit the house out front.
Launch the white bird as low as possible in such a way that it releases the egg in the space between the TNT and rocks. Haven’t been able to use this to my advantage yet though.
I did this for a one-birder. 86k.

Good morning! 89770 so far with one bird. The clue is to hit TNT so low that the white bird hits the main structure toppling everything over. Should be able to reach 100000!
Just to make clear: the tiny rocks must also hit structure with full force. The white bird will hit the top of the roof, dragging everything over:)
I agree. Detonate the TNT and get the white bird to hit the house. It’s not easy, but that’s the only way I’ve found to get a “one birdie”.
Yesss! I knew it would be possible to get over 100000 points with one bird. Finally the stonetower behind the “house” tipped over and voila lots of collateral damage leaving me with 101.360

It’s also possible to make the house collapse by using the first bird at the base of the structure, but it’s quite difficult to repeat. This strategy can yield three stars with some luck if you then fire the yellow bird into the TNT to clean up the three rightmost pigs, but it’s harder and lower-scoring than the white-bird-into-TNT method.
1-23, 84160 w/2 Birds.. Its the 1st shot that takes advantage of the w/b trajectory into the structure.

2nd shot – y/b closes the level..

I am in the states, playing AB at 4:30AM. Not sure what insomniacs did before AB!
79,810 one bird
I used the “egg the dynamite” method. Took several times, but eventually it worked perfectly.
Drop the egg on the leeward side of the dynamite, either on the dynamite itself or between the dynamite and the rocks. This gives the rock extra “push” from the egg-bomb itself and flings them into the house.
Whole thing shattered, dropping bits onto the far pig as well.
I used the same method and receive 90270 total score. Aim between TNT and rocks.
86790 1 bird. I find that aiming for the V between the TNT and the rocks and releasing right on impact does the trick. Ragerdless of the bird also hitting the house, this method seems to get the best number of rock hits on the structure. I often get the far right present as well from collateral damage not the bird. If something direct hits the virtical beside its usually enough to take out the present.

86,540 with one bird. Dropped the egg in between the TNT and the small rocks. Took the whole house down and got both gift boxes. There seems to be potential for more points however!?!
Zoom out all the way (it helps). Fire a white bird and hit the TNT. You may need a yellow bird to finish it off. Repeat until you get three stars.
I used the high-arc, low release of the egg bird and dropped the egg between the TNT and the rocks to clear the entire level with a score of 89,290.
94870 with one bird. Same method of between the TNT & rocks with the added ingredient called luck. I see somebody actually hit 96!

I’d definately second the high arc method. Best I could manage with the ‘across the top of the Christmas tree’ method was 75K, with high arc just got 91,530. I couldn’t seem to get close enough to the top of the tree without clipping it, high arc is much easier to get the “V” sweet spot.
I had no luck with the high arc method. Got 95,150 with the straight across the TNT method. Just a lucky shot for me, I think.
A tricky level! got 83960 with one bird! will have to keep on trying!
89440 with one bird – low level over tnt, dropped in ‘V’, bird and stones hit the house which fell in slow motion. Still debris, one present and hams left so looking at possible second shot to see if more points can be found
This is a little bit of a frustrating day. I’ve managed a good, but not great score of 86,300 that I can’t seem to beat. And I see some people are hitting the Score Addict threshold, but I’m a day away (currently 49k short). Didn’t realize I was that far behind the top players.
Gotta keep working.
I would say for those who are still struggling with 3*s – as opposed to just trying to get a high score – don’t give up if your first shot doesn’t do the trick. Everyone seems to be talking about the one-bird shot, but it takes a lot of luck. I’ve one-birded a few times, but got my high score of 84k with three birds. There’s more than one way to skin a pig!!
Congrats to all who’ve achieved the score addict (some of you top class flingers got it yesterday).’Only’ needed 80k last night and naively thought a 100k level today would see me through it easily only for those sneaky devils at rovio to give us a low scoring level – arrgh. After many many attempts (and loads of 70k – 80k scores) finally managed to crack the 85k barrier, which will do for me (for now).Thanks to all of you for your great stratagies on this and all other levels and I wish you all a very Happy Christmas.

Anyone else notice how similar this level is to a “sand shot” in golf, where you use a club – a wedge – to basically explode the sand behind where your ball is stuck in the sand. The good players will tell you that your club face should strike the sand behind the ball at a downward angle, causing the displaced sand to force your ball up in the air. Just thought I’d share my winter hallucination as it’s not likely I will be playing any golf here in the frozen tundra of the Midwest U.S. before March of next year. By that time we should be finished with the very green St. Patrick’s Day levels and waiting patiently for my favorite ABS targets: Easter eggs and bunnies galore! Aloha.

This one kind of reminds me of the Rio level with teh hovering White parrot, needing to time hits right to maximize the damage the piles of stones do to the bird.
I am finding this one hard to get above 80K.
It took a number of tries, but I finally got +90k with one bird by shooting the white bird low and dropping the bomb just left of the TNT. Rocks and bird hit the house and the whole thing came down.
Well @ 86230 and watching every vid I can find and reading all posts I am thoroughly discouraged !!!!
This is the only level I have ever had to give up on. Can’t get any higher. Got 1 birder but only low score. Reckon I’ve played for about 4 hrs so far with a little sleep in between. Just wish I could crack the 90k+. Wish the guys with 96k would post a video on zoomed out mode so we could see where the egg drops. Oh well, maybe better luck tonite on #24. Good luck all. Finally,I beat this level with one bird.Throw White Bird and drop the egg in middle of TNT and rocks.The wood should fall and the present,it should kill all pigs except one.The wood would fall on the pig that’s undefeated and kills him.I got a score of 87,320

But wait! Is there an Super Exploding Santa Hat (SESH) on this level? I suppose it’s possible that JW figured out how to “zero bird” this one and he conjured up a mega SESH that automagically destroyed every last spiral-sliced ham on this level (and judging from his 30000 point advantage over the previous hi-score getter, JW must have borrowed a few “items” from levels 1-22 and 1-24 as well.) Seems reasonable. Aloha. @ASslimfordy – I apologize in advance if JWFisherman has already sent you a screen cap documenting his whopper-of-a-story tale. @jwfisherman — Congrats! Your top score has lasted more than a year, and no one has yet figured out how to come close. Care to share your secrets? Was it one bird plus a high shot to get all the hams?
I don’t know if this has anything to do with the high score or not but has anyone else blown up the TNT in this level and at the same time blown up some of the black rock. Somehow I did it and the rest of the level played in slow motion. I took a picture but I stink at posting them.

I was using the high arc approach a lot more as I thought it gave better ‘lift’ of the roof section that I was trying to topple to the right for extra collateral damage. This happened 5-6 times to me. I noticed it on the iPhone as the frame rate dropped to about 1-2 FPS.
My rip is in the same place but goes all the way to the ground. I dropped the egg in between the tree and TNT.
I can’t explain the scoring. But the strategy was to bomb the second tree, carom into the corner of the roof, and taking out the far pig for a score of about 14 to 17K. The second bird straight into the TNT zooming at the last second. There must have been a sweet spot that destroyed the whole screen.
By the way, with all the hoopla over the score, I was reluctant to post any higher scores (150K).
I’d like to add a strat that is quite easy on the nerves – no need to worry about dropping the bomb. Bloated Bird Time!
Aim WB at white tree just to the left of TNT. You will take out the top 2 layers of the tree, strike the TNT, WB will shoot backward uselessly over the fling platform. Rocks will do serious damage to the house, providing 1-birders often. The one you want pushes the house over to the right. Sadly far right present didn’t crunch, but still a good score. And much easier on the fling finger! I’ve been working will all the above strats, and this one gave me the best scores.
