Angry Birds Seasons South HAMerica Level 1-3 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons South HAMerica Level 1-3 is to fling the Yellow bird towards the chain link on the right. Debris should clear that side of the level. Then send the Yellow bird on the far right of the bridge to finish off the remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 131,310.

The holy grail on this level would be a 1-birder where the TNT detonates, the bridge falls, AND the TNT below detonates, AND you get the gold on the low right. Haven’t managed the last two yet.

Same as video, but bridge broke – onebirder

High score (for now) -1bird, aimed for upper right TNT going through chain and skull necklace, TNT exploded and debris took out the bridge. Some skulls left over so more points to get. My score screen shot –

Even when the first shot at the TNT is not succesfull and it doesn’t explode, debris from the second shot at the right side of the bridge can still explode the TNT. That is how I got a score of 152K.

I couldn’t agree more, I got a score of 153330 with 2 birds. A bit frustrating, as my bridge did collapse, but the darn piggie stayed alive and the TNT below didn’t blew up. Hence the reason for me to use bird number 2. For now I am happy, but I am sure I will come back to show the one birdie that did work :)

Here is my video.

The 1-birder took forever (a couple of hours) for me @e-star. The unfortunate thing was it still only raised my score by 5K over my best 2-birder. Satisfying to finally get it, but hardly a scoring triumph.

One bird….Yellow Bird through the chain suspending a pig, hitting TNT. Falling debris breaks bridge setting off lower stack of TNT. 149K

One-birder, same strategy: through the chain, TNT exploded, bridge fell and low left TNT went off. Lucky outcome! http://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/gladvold/album/picture/9893/

It’s really funny (not) how you think you’ve absolutely nailed a level and can’t see anyway higher scores could be possible only to head over here to post the score and strategy and discover your so called great result is actually mediocre. To make matters worse the people producing these amazing scores are using the same (or similar) strategy you came to post.

I have been taking a different approach to this level. Use a high arc shot to cut through the large pig in the middle of the bridge, just to the right of the pack with the eggs in it. The right side of the bridge takes out the idol on the bottom right, while the left side triggers the pile of TNT. The rocks should be thrown up into the chain, trigger the upper TNT and clear the right side.

I played this level similar to you @lyrian except I sent YB straight with a downward curve so that he cuts right through big pig and on through to hit the idol. Same outcome with the pile of stones flying up to the top right and triggering tnt.

I also got a one birdie the other way but so far this way has scored higher for me ;-)

@lyrian great, easier strat as the other ones. You don’t even have to use that high arc, send yellow bird directly to the big pig. Result the same, although scores vary enormous, as on the other strat also. Thanks anyway

This is a note I would like to add. After what seems hundreds of tries. No matter which method you use. . . . only yellow bird hitting the bridge, will cause the bridge to break, Has anyone else noticed this?
