There’s quite a few ways to 3-star Piglantis level 2-14, but one way is to just avoid the water entirely. Use a Bomb bird between the first two arches, and another between the far two arches, causing all of them to collapse.

117,180 with 3 birds- unlike slim’s way, to assure th bottom pigs death use the two bomb bird underneath the water to come up at the the first and second arches and on the third arch use the white bird above and aim for the center of the arch and the arch should collapse on the bottom pig
I used the same strategy. One thing to note though, you want to bomb the 2nd arch first. If you bomb the the 1st arch, debris will block your way to the 2nd arch.

Check for piggies in the surf — such as one of the pigs under the arcs.

The pig in the water under the first arch is very hard to spot; at least on the tiny screen of an iPod.
Nope, the last one is pretty hard to spot… thought I had it but one more to go. Will keep on trying.
Still one more pig to go that I can’t see… frustrating!

try underwater and above water
@mvnla2 High arc Black Bird to land at least left to the helmet pig. This should take out the semi circle present on the left and the middle one too leaving only one on the right. Use another Black for debris destruction.

It is easy to 120,000 on this level. Send one BB high to the junction between the 2nd and 3rd bridge. This one needs to take out the 3rd bridge. Then send one under water under the first bridge and it will destroy the weaken 2nd bridge.
Also it does not matter the order of the shots. You can send the first one under the water, then the 2nd one to the 2/3 bridge junction.
Forst bird underwater below the first arch. The explosion cleared also the secon arch and pig underneath. Second bomb over, just landing on the last arch.
Over the water is definitely a 3 star method. But I gotta say.. perfecting your underwater shots on this one, displays the most violent destruction I’ve seen yet in AB. Specially if your BB pops above water just under the second bridge, and you detonate on time. It takes several seconds for all the debris to come down.. or you risk hitting a bird launching it until then.

I agree, one of the keys to good destruction here, when shooting underwater, is to manually detonate when the bird pops up out of the water. I noticed that this makes a huge difference.
Yeah! Finally, finally got it this morning after a relatively few attempts. Never got the above-water method to work. But did get it with two birds in an underwater, overwater combination.
First BB underwater to pop up on right of pig in left-most arch. This took out left arch and a lot of center.
Second BB over-water low-ish to land about where second pig from right on bridge is (was).
Not the highest score on the board (116560), but this may be it.

Lol, right after I posted this, I finally reached the average. After trying all methods, this works best for me.
It’s a well known and established fact that shortly after you complain about a level, your scores improve. It’s called the “whine factor.” (I’m kidding, of course.)
even thinking about the ‘whine factor’ works :)trying to improve 111k and considering posting a complaint I got 116k. First BB under water destroying the first bridge, second BB above, between the seconde and third bridge.
Usually true, except for me on level 12. I gave up trying to reach a decent score, and decided to be happy with 3*.
May I add a tip for getting your bomber to pop up “just right” of the first pig? Instead of firing a 100% shot at ~45 degrees, take something off that fastball… Pull the sling back around 75% and flatten the angle a bit. You will find your bird sliding up to the surface quite nicely, right where it needs to be for taking out all or part of the center section of bridge. Aloha.

here is another strat. 1BB at a 45 degree angle down. should bounce off white piece of trash on bottom and take out entire left side, and if you are lucky, debris will take out other pigs. 2BB launch up at about a 30 degree angle, and it should split the two right semi circle stones. should collapse the rest of the level. score was 120K

Here’s a slighlty different strat I used to get 118240. I sent first BB over to land in between Helmet Pig and the second to the last pig, having it land right there on the two little wood pieces that seperate the little ropes. This took out last semi-circle, pigs and vase below and middle semi-circle, pigs and chest below. All that was left was the first semi-circle. Then I sent second BB in at the two little wood pieces at the very left where the first slanted one meets the second one. This got the first semi circle and pig below.
I did get it also with two birds sending the first one under to take out first semi-circle and sent second BB over to land in between the last two semi-circles for a score of 116560. Having it come up under water and watch everything explode was very cool but I got better end score the other way.
I had success with a combination of things people have suggested.
First, I shot underwater to pop up under arch 1 and manually detonated on the pop up. This not only causes the arch to fall, but sends debris flying in the air. I noticed that occasionally, this did damage to the top of the remaining arches. In particular, with my 120K score, debris popped the pig sitting between the two arches, and did a bit of damage to the ropes and wood that he was sitting on–I’m think this damage, minor as it seems, is important for the second shot.
The second shot was much like the first shot AngryAdvisor (@lesleyg) described. I aimed for the spot where the pig was sitting between the arches. The bird broke through the wooden plank and settled down in between the rocks of the two arches. The explosion really destroyed things! I was able to get the bird to break the plank twice in about 15 minutes, so this is definitely repeatable.
This is exactly what I did. I was trying the strategy that clay175 and mvnla2 described (that is, detonating the first bird just above water at the rightmost edge of the first arch), but only occasionally getting any real damage to the center arch. I was frustrated, but I kept trying, and on one attempt I saw that even though only the first arch had been destroyed by the first bird, there was very little debris above the stone plank between the center and right arches. With the usual high arc on the second bird, I was able to get it through that plank and nestle it between the base of the two arches, which blew both to smithereens for 126k.
Yup this is the way to go. Destroy the first arch from underneath, weakening the middle arch in the process. Then send the second bird between arches 2 and 3 for massive destruction.
I have been trying this for hours..I am missing someting..I got first bomb to explode on pop up get a lot of damage..but I guess I am messing up the second I can’t quite ‘ nestle in’ I have gotten it with 2 birds but only 114ish that’s includes chest and vase:(aaahhh no whine just. @Kathy, when I got my best score, the debris that the first shot had launched in the air fell down and broke the rope and some of the tiny wood blocks, leaving the plank effectively clear for the second shot to hit. (I was certainly lucky, though, to have made the second shot correctly when presented with that rare opportunity!) I also got 122k after a couple minutes playing the level just now, when the first shot collapsed almost all of the first AND second arches. That made the second shot as simple as can be – just fire head-on into the remaining arch. You don’t get that result too often, but it happens regularly enough to be helpful. Just make sure that the bird is as close as possible to the bottom right stone block of the first arch when you detonate it.
What a fun level this is. I didn’t manually detonate the 1st bomb, if you fling it down into the water & it brushes the left side of the white thing on the bottom, the timing seemed perfect, it was triggered by the contact with the bottom & as it popped up under the arch it exploded at just the right time . With careful aiming it will blow under the right side of the arch, but it’s tricky. Great explosion, funny to see debris rain down several seconds later. You need some of this to clear out the ropes on top to get the 2nd bomb down into that space between. I cleared enough of the middle arch to get a horizontal shot to the edge of the right arch but more often had to arc the 2nd one in & hope it broke through to rest in between.
I aimed the first bird as described above: 45 deg angle under water to surface under first arch and destroy it, raining debris down on other pigs.
My second shot was just pure beauty – up high to break the horizontal concrete block and nestle perfectly between the remaining arches. Boom.

You guys are luckier than I am. Despite several two bird knock-outs of everything, I get “Level Failed”. Then, I tried firing the last two birds to see what would happen and still got “Level failed”. I did buy it and paid my bill and this is the first time its happened! Bummer.
First, please don’t select the “Alternate Strategy” option unless you are actually submitting an alternate strategy.
Second, there are some small piggies in the surf (right at “sea-level”) that are difficult to see. There is no glitch on this level, just small, hard-to-see pigs.

I used the under water – above water approach like mvnla and got 122930!
My first bird didn’t make the middle bridge collaps.
My second bird logged himself between the second and third bridge and both bridges collapsed totally.

Underwater bird popped up in first arch high enough that manual detonation destroyed first two arches. Horizontal shot into 3rd arch took it out for two bonus birds.
Also slim and other admins our thanks always include you guys for the initial 3 * vids and then on for beating averages and then attempts on high scores.

–-Read all other strat-posts above. Thanks to all!
–-Watch the video walkthrough and E-Star’s video, too. The “under-over” strat seems the best.
–Use background images as landmarks for finding the best aiming-trajectory.
–-First bird: as mentioned by others above, the SWEET SPOT seems to be between the hard-to-see floating pig-raft-thing and the inside-right of the first arch as approached from underneath. Detonate when BB jumps out of the water in this sweet spot or let it self-explode. You should have between 45-70k+ points after the first bird with collapse of the left arch and at least some damage, if not collapse, of the middle arch. Ideally, both the left and center arch will have collapsed after the first bird. Easier said than done :)
–-Second bird: if the middle arch is still mostly intact, notice where E-Star placed her second bird in the broken gap–the SWEET SPOT–between the two wooden triangles between the middle and right arches as approached from above. Detonate the second BB there, in the sweet spot gap, or let it self-explode. If the middle arch has already collapsed, then aim slightly more to the right and manually detonate or let self-explode. Easier said than done :)

CAN’T BELIEVE IT – I MADE IT TO #1 ON THE LEADERBOARD! I was having so much fun blowing up the arches (over and over) that I hit two sweet spots in a row. My 132k score was accomplished by bb#1 underwater to first arch and bb#2 overland between middle and right arches. I can’t take all the credit as it was largely due to all the experience posted by my fellow nesters. (as always a special ty to E-Star for the video). If anyone would like me to post a screen shot I will. The only catch is someone will have to explain how… This level gives another meaning to “when pigs fly”…

I finally managed to raise my score on this episode, I did it the video’s way, but I still had to use an extra bird for the pig under the first arch.
Raised it again, this time, only 2 birds, just like video.
First bird water under middle arch. Second bird water under first arch. WB Arc to last arch. Trick is, don’t sit there and watch first bird’s destruction and you avoid debris.
