The best strategy for Mooncake Festival level 2-14 is to fire the first Yellow bird around 45 degrees and speed boost through the last horizontal plank of the bridge and the lower leg of the third tower. The TNT atop that tower should fall to the ground, and the next explosion should topple the third and fourth towers. Use the next Yellow birds to take out the wooden bases of the first and second towers, respectively. The score in the video below is 114,390.

There is a narrow box near the launch pad you have to hit it twice just right then a slice of moon pie appears on the other side of launch pad how do you get it?

Launch a yellow bird two steps backwards. What I mean by that is to pull the slingshot all the way back, then move your finger so the bird rests in the crook of the wooden part (if you launched him from here he’d go nowhere) once you have him there, move your finger one pixel at a time to the right until the bird has moved down two “steps”. The sling shot will barely be pulled back at all, then release. The bird will land on the platform and bounce a couple times, then he will barely roll off the left side, getting you the slice of moon cake! Note: This strategy is used to get a couple of hidden eggs in Angry Birds and some of the other spin offs.
anyone else experience getting the slice of mooncake on this level and then it not appearing in the complete mooncake? I can’t get the mooncake piece anymore but also can’t complete the cake? frustrating!
Some users have reported that restarting their device and re-obtaining the Mooncake in 2-12 (no longer visible though) has filled the cake.
I have complete my cake 3 times now. I forgot to play the level the first 2 times, but the cake was full. After completing my other levels i wanted to start the cake level, but the cake was incomplete yet again! I refilled my cake for the 3th time and played the level. But…. turning back later it was yet again incomplete.. grrrr… cake pieces from level 2-9 and 2-14 (which is a terrible level to get the cake piece, my bird keeps flying over the piece!) keep on disappearing.
Also the 3 stars cake keeps on going back to “not played” with out the light in the 3 stars, but entering the level i already have a score.
Going nuts here! I’m going to try and get my cake filled for the 4th time and try again. Hoping this time it works.
What device are you playing on? Sounds like your settings file may be corrupted — or simply not saving. Try a full device restart.
I play on the iPad (first edition). It was very frustrating, but I completed my cake for the 4th time. After completing it, i played the cake levels again and then some other levels of “Trick or Treat” and visited the gamecenter achievements and scoreboard, don’t know if that fixed the problem, but it seems it worked this time, because now when I close the game and start it up again, my cake stays full. I didn’t got the achievement “Bright side of the Moon” but I read that that’s a problem known to iOS. So for that one I have to wait for the update.
Hope the cakes stays full, but to be sure I will try your advise and do a device restart, maybe it will save me from future glitches. Thanks for the help.
I have got the mooncake piece but am looking for help on completing the level itself with 3 stars, trying to follow the video but no luck the stones aren’t flying the way the video shows,any help would be welcome please lol this must be the most frustrating level ever .
