Angry Birds Seasons Mooncake Festival Level 2-12 Walkthrough

The best strategy for Mooncake Festival level 2-12 is to lob the first Blue bird to pass through the ice roof of the second portion of the structure. Splitting as late as possible, the birds will trigger the TNT as the bottom and clear most of the level. Use the next two Blue birds as needed to pop the remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 65,920.

73,570 same as vid but the first shot killed the first helmet pig. Usually when this happens there’s a lot of wood and cement on the last pig, there was for me too but just keep at it and you’ll catch a lucky break. Mine was a small stone block falling on the last pig.

75,410 – 2 birds. 1st blue bird same as video with lots of power. That knocked out all but the back piggy. 2nd blue bird in a high arc took out the last pig and the little bunny for extra points. :-)

Got 77460 with one bird. Must have been a stupid lucky shot. Same strategy with first bird as video.

89540 one shot exactly the same as the video but released later do it this way

I got 76k a different way. I lobbed the first bb low at vertical ice near TNT. 2nd bb with same low arc gets through weakened wood, blows TNT, and destroys all. Very repeatable.

I got 87,240 with 1 bird. I launched the first blue bird with a hight arc to the middle of the first structure and split just before it touched the vertical blue bar above the TNT. It went through both layers and exploded the TNT and with some luck got all the pigs popped with a pretty favorable destruction.

By CrimeDog86

that was supposed to say horizontal blue bar above the TNT, not vertical.

87,550 using same one-shot method. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a level fall so perfectly! Currently 10th place, woo! :)

You don’t need a one-birder to score 80k+ here; a two-birder following the video’s basic approach will suffice. For that matter, you don’t even need to get the helmet pig on the first shot! If it survives after the explosion, you can split the second bird just after it leaves the slingshot so that the bottom birdlet hits it and the top birdlet gets the far pig and the rabbit (this is not as hard as it sounds). If the helmet pig is taken out in the explosion, a late split towards the far structure is probably the way to go for the best points. Try to break the bottom horizontal glass plank with this shot for the best destruction.

Nook Color details:

Zoom all of the way in. Pull blue bird down until the front of the sling lines up above the first small vertical support below the slingshot deck to the left of the slingshot support. Release and split blue bird just above the horizontal glass plank above the TNT. As usual, alter your starting point forward or back as necessary. If you’ve one-birded it; great! If not, use a second blue bird to target the remaining pig(s).

Lather, rinse, repeat, repeat, repeat, until you get the desired score. My score is with two birds. I haven’t yet managed that perfect one-bird destruction.
