The best strategy for Mooncake Festival level 1-3 is to loft the first White bird and bomb just right of the pirate-hatted pig. This should clear the entire right side of the structure. Fire the next White bird just above the first horizontal plank. Blast the TNT with the Yellow bird to finish the level. The score in the video below is 88,510.

I got 89830 – first white bird drops egg on far left platform, destroying most of the left tower.
Second white bird drops egg on the pig with the hat then should push the far right tower over.
Finish with yellow bird direct hit on the TNT.

I’d be mega interested in how all the 100k+ scores happened. Is there a different strategy involved than in the video? Been trying to get higher than 95000 for aaaaaaages! :)
100440 pts. in 3 birds following the video except using flatest trajectories possible on first 2 birds and bomb at the last moment to take out as much wood and stone as possible. Third bird to hit TNT and take out remaining wood and stone. Haven’t been able to replicate and get past 96000 pts., though. So maybe a lucky fluke.
There’s obviously a 2-bird strategy for this one, I can’t see getting over 100k in 3 birds, but I’m having trouble finding it. The video works well, although it’s hard to get the structure around the centre pig with the fan to collapse. The TNT kills the pigs but there are more debris points available if the wood surrounding it would fall more.
I’ve been trying various ricochets of the white bird to cause more destruction & find the 2-bird way, aiming at the front with the 1st white bird I’ve had it ricochet over to damage the right tower, but not very extensively. Guess I have to keep trying!
I have a question…why does the level end before all of the damage has occurred? It’s frustrating because the points are in the process of being totaled and it stops. :(
I shot the first WB just as the video on top, to the right tower. But the second WB shot with a high arc between the two towers of the first structure, making room for the Yellow bird to come in from above. This way the blast will go sideways, making more damage. I got 99840 this way.

Yes, this is a good way to break 100k. The first shot in particular takes a little practice; aim for 35-36k. The other two shots are easy, especially since you don’t really have to be very exact at all on the second shot. As long as the bomb ends up in the gap, it’s probably going to accomplish its goal. And the debris fallout on the third shot is surprisingly reliable, so there are no headaches there, either.

i got #2 place using your method. the 2nd bird somehow did a lot more destruction, thus causing the TNT to explode.
2 remaining birds for an extra 20k. i assume this is how manu got the score that he got.

@e-star Just in case you panic & wonder what that shadow is behind you,don’t worry,it’s only me!! I took a deep breath and decided to revisit Mooncake. It wasn’t a favourite of mine as my scores show but I’m already up by a few thousand points thanks to you! This wee beauty of a vid got me an extra 6k! The 2nd shot was hard to get but when all 3 came together perfectly is was great to watch! It’s been so long since I played it that I can’t remember my original strat so thanks a million for the vid :)
