Mooncake Festival level 1-12 is a bit challenging. Our strategy is to fire the first Yellow bird horizontally through the thinner wooden leg in the bottom-left of the structure. With some luck, everything left of the small pig in the middle should be destroyed. Lob the next Yellow bird to score a direct hit on the small pig. Fire another lofting shot to pop the pig at the far right to finish the level. The score in the video below is 112,330.

Time to complain. This one just will not happen. Regardless of what I do, the long cement piece stays in the way after the first bird making the second useless. Any other ideas out there?
try breaking first two wood but only causing damage to square block 2nd bird low to take out square and plank below pig bird 3 as vid, hope this helps

I’m playing this level with Google Chrome and it is so frustrating that I cannot destroy the first hollow block with the bird itself. That’s why I cannot use the strategy in the video above which easily destroys the hollow block.
I tried destroying the hollow block at the bottom but that makes me unable to destroy the small pig in the middle because a stone block is blocking the way. When I use the strategy in the video above, the hollow block cracks and a debris destroys it but it is ineffective because the debris already blocks the way for me to kill the middle pig. My last complaint is the lantern post because it does not topple over and when it does not break, the debris cannot filter to the bottom meaning my second bird has to pass through so much debris to kill the middle pig. My only wish is to have a bomb bird to destroy those pesky stone blocks or for that lantern post to topple over so debris can flow.
My score is 109,070. If anyone has a strategy for this level for Google Chrome, I’d appreciate it if you can tell me.
This one is tricky indeed. I got 114870 with a method similar to ftdrew. First bird like video, but second bird low and flat to get the pig the first bird missed. Then the last bird high and angled like the video. To score sufficient points for three stars you need to get plenty of destruction as well as having a bird left over.
I got 125,290 on 1 shot. It was literally the 1 in 100 shot. I sent the blue birds up high and hit the column on the right side of the screen. From what I can guess on the shot, I hit the column on the ice blocks on the lower left side of that far right column. There are 4 blocks there, I was able to hit the small one on the bottom and the top one of the 4 in front of the pig. The shot caused the whole column to fall and the debris hit the tnt box just right where the whole left column fell (there was a delay and rocking in the left column falling). It was the 1 in 100 shot (I was frustrated on this level also), but I was able to get that 1 shot. Good luck!!!

I think he means level 1-11. That one has blue birds and a column on the right.
This is impossible! I’ve read all of the comments and watched the video, and still can’t get it! I’ve conquered everything that Angry Birds has put out! Totally frustrating!

Finally got it using ftdrew’s method! 111470 just barely cutting it but enough for 3 stars!
Well that’s all well and good, but i never get 70000 out of that shot. More like 48-62. And yes it always leaves concrete plank on top. In the vid the mini concrete block rolls over, but this never happens on my game which keeps th concrete overhead. I hate inconsistency in a game.

OH OH! Can you tell me how many stars that is?? This is the only level I have left to confirm the minimum. I’ve been trying to score 109,xxx for about 3 hours and can’t get it.
I was 109440 before I got 3 stars.

How do I take a screenshot on my iPad? I just landed a 109840 2-star run but don’t know how, I just took a picture with the mirror effect on in Photo Booth. lol
You can take a screenshot on iPad by pressing the home and sleep buttons simultaneously. You can then post the image by uploading to a photo server (such as flickr, yfrog, or twitpic) and copy the URL here. But if 109k is only 2 stars, I’m perfectly happy.
Yeah I figured the flickr thing was the way to go after scrolling up and seeing the links. What software do you guys use to show where your finger is and capture the video? I love it.

Re: Video capture — FujiToast and BirdLeader use a program called DisplayRecorder, but this requires jailbreaking. Read more in the forum.
I’ve heard if you complain then soon after you can complete the level lol. SOO I am complaining this its the hardest level ever, I have tried every suggestion and cannot get more than one star. wah wah wah.
I just achieved 115680 using a similar technique, where the 2nd shot was aimed low at the small pig in the middle, but you have to make sure that the 2 lanterns on sticks and the 2 rabbits are hit to make sure you get the 12000 [4 x 3000] bonuses.
I also found that rotating my iPod Touch [1st generation] through 180 degrees – so that the home box button is on the right hand side – made the play more reactive.
Maybe my screen is less sensitive in some areas?
If that’s true, then it’s particular to your device — for example, you may have a thin layer of film over the part of the screen where you would normally tap, or something of the sort.
First of all, the 3-star score minimum is set too high… It’s too hard to get 3 stars let alone improve your score… I have 113+k & have been playing this level for days trying to get higher with no success. And I don’t believe the high posted 123k is possible… It seems like u have to get the first bird through the first two structures just like the video, in order to have a chance of getting 110+k… This part isn’t hard, but all the wood has to fall just the right way in order to make the next bird count, which could take numerous attempts… Extremely frustrating. Any other methods work for anyone else?
123k is a little questionable, but 119k is confirmed.

Finally, after 2 weeks, 119690.
First bird through the skinny wood block on the left, the long skinny wood block behind it, at the bottom wood square. Lather, rinse, repeat a million times until you get lucky enough to have debris fall forward to get both lanterns and have all the stone blocks fall out of the direct path of small pig in the bottom middle of the structure. I had 72k after the first bird. Second bird through the aforementioned small pig and through the square wood block at the bottom middle of the structure. Bunny at the far right stayed alive. 99690 with 2 birds left.
Yes, I also thought the two-bird strategy was easier. 114k isn’t a particularly notable score, but it’s certainly better than barely scraping by the minimum, which is what seems to result from using three birds. (Plus, hitting that rabbit while also trying to pop the last pig is really frustrating!)
@sasquatch519 I come to see there was a better method than I was doing, but I see I’m doing what you said, those stones just will not get out of the way!!!!! :(

Finally,this was the last level I needed to 3 star all levels.I did the same method as the video and I got 111,910.
This level is driving me crazy! I have never had the desire unleash violence on my phone, but the urge is getting a little strong. I have a high score of 109870, so I have missed 3 stars by 130 points – grrr. I have been using the method in the video. Three days and counting…
I read in one of the posts that if you complain and try again that it will work :) I hope, I hope, I hope…
This level is proving to be the equal to 1-11 in terms of frustration. I’m trying to improve my 111,080 score to the average 112,242. I wonder if one of the updates changed since November when I got my score. I keep clearing the level but don’t get the collateral damage needed to get more than 105+. Very annoying.

I send the first bird the same as the video on top, but the top where the second bird went in the video on top was blocked by the stone triangle, so I sent the second bird from the side, making it all the way thru and killed the piggies that where left. The puppet on the side I missed, but I did get 116640 this way.

113,430 with 1 bird left
After trying for ages (3 days) with the recommended strategy I finally decided to try something a bit different. Then took about 30 minutes to get 3 stars.
With shot 1, aim for the square block underneath the leftmost pig, simultaneously getting one red lantern. You are hoping the pile will topple and get the other red lantern.
Sometimes this will give you a 62,000-plus score. With shot 2 you need to kill the remaining smallest pig and with luck get up to arond 87,000. This leaves the last pig and the rabbit to kill with your final shot.
I’ve been having more luck (with 3 stars) by taking out the right side first, angling the first bird up and arcing it down close to the edges of the side. Most of the time it takes out the rightmost pig and the bunny, and the next pig up rolls off its platform; often I get the topmost pig and bunny as well with this. When I go in from the left on bird 2 (the two hollow bricks + hopefully a third path ) I seem to have more luck with destruction and have done a 2-birder this way a few times (!)
112K with two birds. Same tactic as in video, but second shot went through the little big and caused the farther two bigs to drop for destruction.
this one is a horror-4 days-only 108
