Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs Level 2-12 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs level 2-12 is to fire the Pink bird through the leftmost pig, triggering bubbles to lift the next pig to its doom. Fire along the same trajectory, through the medium pig dead-center and onward to the two rightmost pigs. The bubbles should pop them, and cause a lot of damage to the main pile. One more to grab the last pig and kill off most of the pile. The score in the video is 77,990.

About the same strategy as video but as a 2 birder. Couple of tips :
- first bird, try to aim directly to that part we want to move up, and not bump on the plank (so aim slightly higher than video and manually inflate)
- second bird around the same path, since we’re aiming a bit higher, we’re actually bouncing higher, you can this way have the structure fall down to the right. with luck you get them all in 2. 86540.

This strat resulted in interim high score just shy of 89K. With many ghost blocks left, the penultimate high may near 100k.

Thank you C_Wiz! Using your tips, I finally got 87,150. I think I’ll quit there!

@burbman great description :). The pink bird is giving the green bird competition for my least favorite bird. At least boomerang bird has some real power!

@wanda, I think I may agree with you at least on this level. I thought the ghost blocks were neat, but this one challenges that idea too. I followed the video, had some luck & got it with two birds after a few hundred flings. Very frustrating.

I tried the two-bird strategy, but it turned out to be too hard for me. I ended up scoring 85k with approximately the same strategy as the video, so perhaps this is the better bet for decent scores. A couple of small tips, though: it probably isn’t worth trying to destabilize the tallest part of the structure with the first shot, so just try to maximize destruction of the front few blocks (16-17k) and don’t restart ad nauseam until you get a partial collapse. And with the third shot, aim and activate the bird so that you pick up as many wooden pieces and intact ghost blocks as possible. Broken ghost blocks yield almost no points but add a lot of unnecessary weight.

2 shots like the video.

Shot #1 is the same, and like @austinRHL described try to keep damage to the left side.

Shot #2 I aimed for the left-most pig, going through to the lower right. On my best score the TNT toppled to the lower right for max destruction, and the highest pig took out the small pig that the video uses for shot #3. (I hope that’s not too confusing).

It’s actually easier to get the higher pig to take out the small pig than for the upper TNT to get a lot of points. Another level for practice and persistence.

Good flinging everyone!

86210 the easy way
Bird one under the first pig to lift and drop first 2 pigs and blocks on left. Should yield you 18k+.
Second bird directly at remaining lower left pig and let it go all the way through and activate late enough to encapsulate furthest pig to right.
Gonna keep trying, there’s plenty more scope for improvement here.
Good luck fellow flingers…

Has anyone else noticed that this level times out really quickly? There’s been several times now when the third Stella is just lifting the last pig and some ghost blocks the game end and starts counting points and stars even when the last pig hasn’t even died yet. And when this happens, it doesn’t even count the 5k for the last pig or the 10k for the bird.

For example just a sec ago I had 62k before the third bird and there was this one piggie left. I launched the third Stella and when the bubbles activated and started lifting the pig up, it just ended and the final score was the same 62k as it was after two birds. It didn’t even count the last bird that I had left.

@Lisko – Yes, same thing happened to me. When I fired fourth Stella to kill last pig or tried to lift debris, everytime game ends & start counting points. May be a bug in this level.

@amandeep – Okay! For me it happened with the third bird, but it happened several times and finally I gave with this, ’cause I could have gotten a bit higher score, but the that “bug” ruined my try :/

I’ve seen levels timing up, but usually it happens when you have no birds left and there’s still debris falling. Never happened to me before that it doesn’t count a pig or a leftover bird :/
