The Angry Birds Seasons Ham’o'ween update (v2.0.0) is now available for iOS, Symbian, and Android via the Android Market and Amazon Appstore. Hopefully other platforms will be getting the update soon. This update — which has been teased for weeks — comes on the eve of the one year anniversary of “Trick or Treat” and features the new Orange Bird!

This update includes:
- New Orange Bird! The Orange Bird is unlocked on level 1-4. He’s a tiny little guy, about the size of the blue bird, but he’s hiding a “big” secret. You can trigger him to MASSIVELY inflate at any point in-flight or about 2-seconds after contact, after that he will auto-inflate. No he doesn’t explode, but rather he hangs out for a bit before he deflates and flies off. Awesome! He does seem to slice through wood pretty well.
- Seasons episodes are now broken down in two categories: 2011 and 2012
- 30 new levels all themed for a slightly darker Halloween
- One hidden Golden Egg and a bonus “Big Black Pumpkin” Golden Egg level
- 6 new achievements, which are currently available on iOS only
- Bright Side of the Moon achievement bug has been fix, but you may have to re-defeat levels 1-15 and/or 2-15.
- Seasons Greeding 1-16 feather threshold is lowered. Congrats to those who got their badge before the threshold was changed!
- The Golden Egg numbering has been removed completely! So I suppose our numbering is now the sacrosanct, which means we may finally be able to publicly release the Angry Birds Seasons Golden Eggs Leaderboard.
- Pro tip! The dark pumpkins act as TNT. The orange pumpkins are worth 3,000 points, as are the skulls with eyes lit.

New Orange Bird in Action!
Nooooooooooo!!!! I have symbian device (nokia N8), and when I finally got the update with Ham’O'Ween all the stars from all the themes, gone. I had every single star and golden egg and everything one could have… and after this update, ALL GONE!!! Please please please can you help me get my stars and eggs and scores back??? :( I fell devastated.
Unless you had recently backed up your device, there is nothing that can be done.
I had backed up my device 01.11.2011 but when i tried to restore, nothing happened, the angry birds seasons stayed the same :( all the stars gone :( and with Ham’O'Ween (and I’m sure I didn’t have Ham’O'Ween when I last backed up my device).
Hello AMslimfordy. As I explaned, the update to Ham’O'Ween cleaned all my current progress in AB seasons… And now I think I’ve found the reason. After being devastated, and getting the next post how to “back up” ones AB progress to ones computer, I imidiately wanted to ensure this would never happen to me again and hooked my phone to my computer to take the “back up”s…
So I was looking for the AB season folder in the private folder… and this is what astonishes me!! I found not one, but two AB season folder, one on my phone memory (where all other AB folders are too), and one lonely AB seasons folder in my external memorycard private folder… So is it possible that I now have AB seasons twice in my phone, and what should I do to try to fix this?? I hope all my previous progress is still saved possibly in the AB season folder in my phone memory… what can I do? Please help me…
I’m not sure how much I can help, but if it were me, here is what I would do.
Create 2 folders on your desktop: Seasons 1 and 2. Copy each of your data to one of these, so both are backed up. Then delete one of the folders from your device, taking note of whether you delete #1 or 2. If it “fixes” your issue, then you are done. Otherwise, copy the data from your desktop of the file that was deleted and give it a try.

I had 3 stars in every single level in seasons and they are gone……. THIS SUCKS REAL HARD! No way im playing seasons greedings and trick or treat again! They are hard as hell…

For symbian user: Before updating any version of angry birds and may be loosing all your highscores, you should better save your highscore files. To do that, connect your mobile phone with the PC, switch to mass storage mode, search for file called /private/ and then search following files:
File ’20030E54′ for Angry Birds Classic free
File ’20030E51′ for Angry Birds Classic
File ’20030E52′ for Angry Birds Seasons
File ’2003B21F’ for Angry Birds Rio
File ’2003B219′ for Angry Birds Magic free
Open each file and save highscore.lua and settings.lua for every single version on your PC
In case after updating and loosing all your progress, you can simply copy the corresponding file back to your mobile phone and all original highscores are back again ;)

Hopefully this helps some users, though v2.0.0 is now available via in-game updater for Symbian, so I believe all should be well.
I have edited your post slightly. Teaching people how to backup their files is fine, but we aren’t going to discuss tweaking data. That’s a very slippery slope that would taint our leaderboards.
Ok, I understand. But I hope, that for all Angry Birds player there is something like a code of honor, because wherever they indicate their highscores in the internet they could use wrong highscores to be better than others.

Two months gone by since ham’o'ween came out, and still I’ve wondered… Why is Orange also called globe bird?
That’s just based on the GameCenter achievement.

After I got the Ham-oween 2012 update, it locked all my other Seasons 2011 games. My total score shows, but all episodes show level 1 with 3 stars, but all other levels are locked. I have v2.0.0 on an iPod Touch. Can you help? Thanks!
Perhaps updating to v2.1.0 will help, but otherwise you will need to provide me with some more details. Had you transferred data?
