Slightly higher lob and got excellent damage (after many, many tries). The OINK thing slowly rolled left an fell into the pit and the TNT went off just before the level timed out. 161800 This is way too hard, someone please come up with a clever high scoring strategy.

And the first shot after my whine was a one birder for 166k. Nothing special, like first shot of video. Swinging and rolling took all pigs out. Wish I could claim skill!

Its all about luck
All tnts must explode, ensuring that the one in the middle also blows up the jersey for 3000 points
Getting both red birds in the hoop also helps

If 159,440 is 2* and the video has 160,460 as 3*, the threshold is confirmed as 160k.

I think the video strategy shows luckiest way possible, my phone battery is dead now and its bed time so cant test my theory
I think 1st red bird needs to be fired at the pig on the 45 degree ledge. It make take a few tries but this releases the round balls and allows trophy to slide down easier and destroy closest tnts.
sometimes when when you fire at the pig on ledge this also pulls the chains and starts pulling the oink industries thing on wheels closer
2nd and 3rd bird as per video
I seem to have more luck getting the closes 2 tnts to detonate with this method, just need to get a bird through the hoop and destroy the 00 jersey.
@syrus — Did you get this to work? I do think your first shot has the potential to more consistently get both left TNTs.
I tried it a couple of times. Not sure you want the truck to be pulled left. If it moves right, it knocks the upper right guy off his perch. If it falls into the pit, it is very difficult to get all the TNT to explode.

Just got it in about 30 mins of trying. I wouldn’t say this is any easier as still heavily relies on A LOT of luck. Sorry if the below comment doesn’t make sense. Lots of things to factor.
Note: All of the left tnts must explode & 1 bird needs to go through hoop &/or the jersey needs to be destroyed in order to get above 160000
1st bird: launch into pig on 45 degree slope, this is the most effective method of getting both of the closest tnts to explode. The balls roll down further without the trophy in the way and hit each other generating more points. The trophy thing doesn’t seem to do any damage and just pushes objects, so having balls fall first gives them more room to move as every point counts.
If the 2 closest tnts explode, great! however if they don’t explode there’s no need to restart, you still are in for a chance with the next bird.
2nd bird fired at highest arc, breaking the chain. Make sure you dont hit the tnt so the wood breaks and the 2 metal pieces and the light fall down as they get in the way. Either the bird or timber above the hoop must detonate the tnt below the hoop. Id be tempted to say the bird must go through the hoop for the extra points.
The trophy will roll down the slope, and hope the 2 closest tnts blow if they didnt on first shot. If they both didnt detonate then restart.
Preferably the bird or timber that fell through the hoop gets lucky and detonates more than 1 if not all of the tnts in the middle section.
The swinging chain should have knocked oink industries to push the furthest pig to its death
3rd bird: Get your timing right, fire through the wooden bit attached to swinging chain and you must hit the tnt on the oink industries. If the tnts in the middle didnt explode after you fired the 2nd bird then the 2 metals bits & the light must fall and detonate them both. Ideally you want the 2nd furthest away tnt to explode where its sitting so the jersey is destroyed for an additional 3000 points
168500 with this method, sorry the level still relies on a lot of luck :(
And top score for the time being, all that effort paid off :)
It took me a while to understand the “45 degrees first shot” (LOL!) and another loooooong time (days, actually) to jump from 157K to 163K but i DID IT, yeaaaaah !!

Whew! Done it! I started off on your method, then by some freak occurrence (as is the way with most Angry Birds Levels), parts of the level all collapsed at the same time, getting me a score just over 160,000.
But wouldn’t you know it? I do the Mighty Eagle once and boom… get 100% first try.
The three-star threshold of 160K is ridiculous on this level. Anything over 150K is quite good.
I agree with all the comments about the 3* threshold. On the only occasion I managed it so far (for 167k) I scored 2 slam dunks – one with a piggy and one with the RB. Now time to move on.
This level truly sucks…I have yet to get to the 160,000 threshold. The closest I’ve come to 156 & 157k.
After eight hours of flinging birds on the level I’m done. 164k is good enough for me. I had 154k with one bird left…I thought about flinging that last bird but I didn’t think I could do 6,000 pts worth of damage.
Three hours in and the best I can get is 153K.
Lets see if whinging on here improves my luck.
160 seems way to high to me.
I guess I should say something as I somehow got the highscore for now. I’m not sure what went better than normal because I was only a few tries into the level. I used a high arc, rather than a flatter one like in the video, shooting through the first chain and landing right next to the first tnt, then through the hoop and onto the bottom tnt. Everything collapsed except for the truck which did not roll into the pit.
I played the level about half an hour after this but the best I got was 161K (twice) which I got with this shot, then the 2nd red bird to detonate the tnt at the left, then use chuck to drop the stone swing onto the truck after it rolled off the ledge.
When I try to get 3 stars score on this level, I restart level many times, but on one time at the start of the level everything sudden self explode and cause 1 pig left, after killing it I get the score of 190690. Is this score valid for leaderboard?
@kai92 — I’m not really going to answer your question, I’ll leave that up to the admins. What you describe could be a self-destroying level. What device and operating system are you using?
I’m using Note II, custom ROM with android 4.4.4.
Unreally difficult. I’ve spent over 5 hours trying to get 5 stars. I’ve used up all extra “secret weapons” and the MOST I’ve achieved is 159680 (2 stars) I have NEVER tried a more difficult angry birds episode. You HAVE to change this surely?
Amazing. Another three hours playing and I have FINALLY got the required 16K and 3 stars… But it won’t let me play the 3 star bonus!?
I think I noticed something odd on this level. Sometimes a basketball will drop through the hoop, but I don’t get the 5k. Has anybody else experienced this? Is this one reason why it is so difficult to three star?

Toughest level yet for me. Wow. Barely managed to get 3*’s.
This level is impossible! I tried for four days, and finally just got lucky.
Soul destroying. Absolutely soul destroying. Stupidly ridiculous level. Way, way too hard to get 3 stars. Have 3 stars in every AB level, but after 7 collective hours of play on this one game alone I am on the verge of giving up completely. Surely they have to change this to make it more reasonable? Just bloody stupid

hardest ever … both pure luck and some skill needed … n a lot of time
I used a high arc first, wich is easier to always keep the wooden bar intact
… the a lot of luck is needed …
all tnt to left neds to explode to maximize points
you need a bird down the hoop to get additional 5k and set the tnt and if you’re lucky the rest will explode
you can then use the next bird for additional 5k in the hoop with bouncing on the swing which pushes the truck to take down the right piggie
finally use last bird to detonate the tnt on the truck and the massive destruction and above 160k is reached
really tough and time consuming :-/
The high arc advice was key. Couldn’t get over 145k before changing to this. Then in next 30mins had multiple 150’s including a 159620. They finally cracked 3 stars with a 166k. One birder, all TNT’s blown and big pig slowly rolled off the truck…..thank goodness I never have to return to this level….
Thanks for posting. Used a strategy very similar. A least for me, the first bird is the hardest to get the left side tnt boxes to explode. When they do it seems like everything else lines up for completion. Was able to get an above average score. There is a good measure of luck with the destruction because I had a good number of scores in the 150k range.
Yaay, a two-birder! BUT, even though I got 2nd Red through the hoop, the TNT next to the jersey did not detonate! Rovio, why only three birds?

A couple of resets afterwards, and a little whining worked! Including lots of L-Factor for 163k. Boy, I’m glad that’s over, ’cause I’m never coming back, pffftttt!

@mvnla2 – I have noticed some instability on this level which could result in much higher scores. I shot my first bird at the pig on the ramp, all balls rolled down, Trophy followed Blowing all three TNT’s, pulled truck into the pit, leaving the lil pig on the far right. I left the level alone for a while as the truck was rocking back and forth in the pit. When I came back, it had completely destroyed everything in the pit, exploding all TNT’s there, incuding the one from the truck. Second bird was a flat arc to break first chain and split platform in half. Left side of light landed on the ramp, and started shimmying its way down. When it reached the bottom, it started jumping up and down on wooden balls, breaking them and continuing to the left, eventually breaking the red, white, wood, and ice backdrop to the NBA logo under the launch platform. At this point my score was over 180k, but I missed that far right pig with my third and final shot. Grrr.
Hallelujah! At last some hope for getting 3 stars! I haven’t had any luck getting everything to work well enough for 3* yet.
@mvnla2 – Looks like that third shot is going to need to be a moonshot with yellow.

Finally got 3 stars. Persistence is the magic word here. Played like the video. Both red birds went through the hoop.
Can promise: I will never, never this level again.

Some so simple that I bam-bam scored three in the first go, and to confirm it wasn’t incidental, again at the second run. On the boring side.
And then the lousy no. 2 that works on a glitch. And even worse, this one.
Even with the walkthrough, no success yet.
Okay, that’s not the frustrating part! The frustrating part is that the chain is already painted black where it breaks, and the very rest is just luck! Come on, I love Angry Birds for a good combination of strategy, gaming intelligence plus a potion of luck!
I don’t want to launch the birdies just 1000+ times, hoping and waiting for an eventual lucky launch! :-(
I think I can add that the left part is quite relevant, Whenever I manage to do some destruction on the blue blocks from underneath the launching pad, the numbers are seriousmy higher.
I have yet to find out some way to do damage there on purpose!?
After 4-2, this level is another bitch. I managed to score 161330. Strategy almost the same as the vid.
1st red: It is essential to break the chain, but to leave the platform and the TNT intact. I shot red in a high arc, making it break the chain on it’s way down instead of on it’s way up. This proves to have a far better repeatability with regards to not blowing any TNT.
As a result, the 3 TNT’s on the left part of the level should also explode, you need the damage to increase your points. But after red 1, the leftmost TNT didn’t explode on this attempt.
2nd red: As in the video. My timing sucked and red launced a bit too late. But luckily (1), it bounced off the wood on top of the construction, rolling left and falling through the hoop (you really need the hoop score) and finally exploding the TNT in the bottom left. I believe it matters where red touches the TNT, because I had sooo many tries where the center part didn’t collapse, or at least not fully. My guess is that the TNT should blow red in the construction, helping it to collapse. Luckily (2), this time all 3 TNT’s blew.
In the mean while, the swinging platform took care of the rightmost pig and its jersey by pushing the Oink snowblocks truck against it, pushing it over the edge. This is one of the few things that almost always work in this level, not needing much luck.
3rd bird: as in the vid. I also screwed up on this one, it didn’t hit the TNT in the front of the Oink snowblocks truck. But luckily (3) the truck started rolling left and when the TNT rolled over the rear wheel, it still exploded. This gave me a score of 158-159k something.
I already feared that I had to redo the level for the umptieth time, when luckily (4) one of the glass blocks on the left side of the level got loose and fell right into the last TNT box! The resulting damage took my score to 161330 while the level was already finished and the score was already counting!
So my opinion on this level? It is doable, but you need some skill shots and lots and lots of luck! And as my story shows, luck is far more important than skills!
Most difficult one in this basketballshit.;-)
After 2 days of trying I finally netted 161k with a high arc, with the bird pointing at the top vertex of the star on the island, then move a pixel (or two) lower. The ideal case should have:
1) the platform, together with the two TNTs, should be kept intact after the chain breaks. That is, if the bird accidentally hit a TNT directly, restart;
2) the bird then should roll into the ditch rather than down the slope. This should claim the 5k basket, the two TNTs in the middle, and in turn the rest of everything in the ditch (and the white jersey, worth 3k);
3) the TNTs in the lower left should be ignited. It is hard, I must admit, but you need to blow them up at all cost.
In my case what’s left is half the glass structure right under the slingshot and the truck (down into the ditch).
Now all’s left is 4-2. DRAT IT.
I officially hate this level…
Lots of comments and no time to read them all, so if what I am telling in this comment already has been said by someone, I apologize in advance.
I send the red bird with the highest possible lob, but still far enough to hit the chain and release the left side of the hanging structure. The TNT’s fall down and with luck the red bird is thrown to the right, thru the hoop and sets of the TNT at the bottom, taking out most of the structure in the middle. All the while the basketballs roll down the slope and take out the left, detonating the TNTs. The pig on the truck started rolling due to the push it got from the hanging planks knocking into the truck. So that one rolled off the truck on it’s own. I am sure there was a lot of debris points left in that truck, but the game ended before the truck could fall into the pit. I got a score of 167500.

You had some great luck from what I saw in your video. GREAT luck. I have flung a few hundred times for many days and my high score is 159480. I still officially hate this level. I’ll keep trying though, as I’m bloody stubborn that way and I’m determined to get 3 stars!
I feel your pain @welshwitch55 and haha LOL… I also know that stubbornness… the only reason I can make the videos that I do. Hang in there and maybe the AB spirits work in your favor soon!
This level is WRONG, just wrong. I have done everything I should, and still cannot get to the 160k level. Whether or not the two TNTs on the left explode just seems to be a matter of luck, but for me hitting the bird at the bottom of the slope with the first bird seems to do that more reliably. Do NOT let the trophy pull down the truck.
The point of Angry Birds is to kill pigs, and if you can call ALL the pigs with one bird, you should get 3 stars. Period.
HALLELUJAH HALLELUJAH HALLELUJAH!!! 161,600 on my second try today (probably 1,000 tries total)!!!!! Weird thing is when I lobbed Red into the upper platform, I accidentally hit the TNT on the left. When the moon is in the 7th house and Jupiter aligns with Mars, the chain reaction begins. I can finally put this God forsaken level to rest and never think of it again and I will NEVER try to better my score on it….she said as she went back to see if she could duplicate it again….
The WORST to date. I hate the levels where you have to be pixel perfect (by accident usually) to hit 3 stars.
Finally hit 168,670 after days of trying. I didn’t get the jersey, but I did destroy almost all of the boxes on the bottom left and the truck. I don’t know what was different than the previous thousand tries in trajectory, but having that bottom left blow up was key.
Grrrr!! Stuck at 159,020. This one and 4.2 are…Grrrr!!

I thought I was going to have to do the unthinkable…leave a level w/o 3-starring it…on this one. FINALLY! Success! This is one level I am glad to be leaving. High arc like the other comments and a lucky one-birder.

Seasons really has done atrociously designed levels. Ham Dunk is definitely blessed with at least 2 of those this far. 4-2 is exceptionally pathetic. This level is similar. In both the 3 star score is simply outrageous. 4-2 took me 4 days to get 3 stars. The glitch does not work and getting 3 stars without the glitch is just way too difficult.
