Angry Birds Rio Timber Tumble Walkthrough Level #15

Our strategy for Timber Tumble Level #15 is to fling the Boomerang bird high, releasing the right support of the hanging log so it swings through most of the structure. Aim the Black bird into the small gap on the left side, knocking out the marmosets there. If needed, use an Orange bird to trigger the remote, which drops logs onto the right side of the level. The score in the video below is 184,380.

Lob Boomerang Bird into the first support of the hanging log. It will swing to the right taking out the right-most structure. Aim Black Bird into the small gap in the left structure and detonate under the gold ledge to take out all remaining marmosets. Many more points would be possible if by chance the remote was to be triggered, releasing the logs.

@stevenellie thanks for the clear strat. Yes, it’s a tricky shot, but it worked.

I sent green bird up hoping to cut the rope, and have it swing left. Green bird continued to the tree, following the contour, and taking out the lower far right structure. Black Bird to the tunnel/alley in lower left structure. Only 176k!!

With Boomerang Bird, clip both supports of the hanging log. The hanging log falls down the centre setting off the detonator. Aim Black Bird into the gap of the left structure detonating under the gold ledge.

This is a very good strategy. It is a rather tricky shot, but the detonator almost always gets hit this way. 199,090 and calling it a day.

@stevenellie or anyone else, could you please explain how you cut both supports with one bird? I’m just not seeing it.

Thank you for this alternate strat @stevenellie. On my first revisit to this level, I did it the way you described and got a nice @203K score. After seeing there were more points left over, I had to come back and try again, and again, and again. Another 100+ resets and I finally broke my previous score, and got to #1 and my hat’s off to you!

Sorry @SweetP. I was on a Robert Memorial shoot and got lucky. I used the same two bird strategy described by @Stevenellie that you did. My only tip is to aim boomerang a little higher in the sling. I line him up about a Bomb Bird’s eyeball above Bomb Bird when I pull him back at very, very reduced full power on the first shot. In other words, don’t touch Boomer to Bomb Bird when you pull back the sling. Leave him a little above Bomb Bird. I tended to get better setups for the second shot dropping the log this way. I also backed off the power a bit on the second shot as well.

First shot not through the ropes. Just land the bird ON the log to the right of that vertical wood piece. Log will fall down straight and will do its job. Its an easier shot than cutting both ropes, still I am not sure if one can beat >200K this way.

@emidir You beat me to it. :) I found this by accident on my first shot and forgot to post it later. It definitely works much better than clipping the ropes.

Just fly Boomer past the vertical wood plank and trigger him so he hits and breaks it. The log falls flat and smashes everything, including the remote that triggers the logs to fall. Very easy and repeatable.

Something to consider when firing: When aiming Boomer toward the first log support or higher, he barely touches the on-deck Bomb bird. If you release him while the bomb bird is airborne from one of his little birdy hops, it counts as an impact, turning Boomer into a corpse. Bomby bounces about every two seconds, so his impatience has made me flub quite a few shots.
