Our strategy for Smugglers’ Plane level 11-9 is to fire the Red bird into the side of the main structure. Its effect is minimal, but triggering the TNT will result in significant damage. Next, loft a Yellow bird over the structure and speed boost into the stones in the top-right. This should cause the top to fall to the right, leaving only two cages in the middle of the level. For the highest scores, fire the Yellow bird through the sand supporting the top structure. The score in the video below is 98,040.

Go go first with red low into front and TNT, yellow bird over to tip the back, and then yellow in front again to take out sand below remaining structure. Collateral in each shot is key

Like above post by @rocklands… But I aim 1st red bird straight at left-most red gas can… This blows everything to the right, including the TNT, which blows the rest to the right….
Birds 2 and 3, if needed… Use however necessary to clean up… Usually this is the same as rocklands/video
Not working for me,i throw first red directly at red tank, blows up tnt and left half of first structure, how do I get the to part of structure to fall? Ty for help:)
Yeah me too! I’ve been hitting red tank and it only gets the very first part of structure…not even the two middle ones? I came on here to improve my score to atleast average…and I keep getting 95kish…are you hitting directly at the red tank? Tx for help.
Ok so same thing but this time second yb took out all right and debris got the two middle ones but still no luck getting that first shot?
Congrats on your new rank :) even if you make that first shot, it doesn’t really Make a difference I’ve done it probably 200 times and still only the front half of the first structure collapses:( ssry trying everything no luck getting near average. Will keep at it…but if nothing changes gotta move on sooner or later lol… gl:)

Thanx Kathy, no I can get him to hit first red fire thing and the very first part of structure goes with first two birds, like you describe exactly, but not like others describe that it even takes out the pesky right middle two under the sand things…It never does…I just now finally got above average but it was as just described with first bird and second bird hit the blocks and took out the rest, even the ones under sand so I didn’t need usual third bird…but I’ve done this before and never got above average? Just more debris this time I guess? Btw FYI, I did actually get that far right fire extinguisher to fall over and even exploded for 500 points but mucked up the next shot..this was NOT with my new posted above average score…I remember you mentioning it in a post…
Yes stillll the same for meee…except I can hit the front fire thing, doesn’t really change the outcome anyway…its cool that you got the far one to explode haven’t managed that yet :)
I just put 15 consecutive shots into the red can, which blew, exploding the TNT and destroying the first cage in the structure with 3 birds. It did no other damage to the structure. The damage was identical every time.
What am I missing?
Me 2 same thing only destroys first half of structure…I keep coming back to try again but…no luck….calling on rocklands or loox….u guys out there somewhere? HELP PLEASE! we need some kind of bird signal or something like batman lolgl…:)
What you’ve been getting from the TNT/extinguisher combo is pretty much it, aside from variable collateral damage. The second shot needs to be lobbed into the upper right structure, into the corner created by the stacking of a long concrete block, and a short one on top of it between the wooden crates on the upper ledge. With yellow, use a medium lob to get him over the left side of the upper ledge, then tap to accelerate, getting him to strike the previously mentioned concrete blocks. This should push that part of the upper structure into the two right-most cages, thus breaking them, and possibly, causing the right side extinguisher to detonate.
Sorry that I’m a bit late to the party. I suspect look misspoke here. When he says it will low everything to the right (“including TNT”),, I suspect he means left (because there is no TNT to the right).
Can’t get that far right red tank to fall, has anyone got it? Just curious,i know it isn’t in the video just wonder if its possible:)
No sooner than I said it I got it to fall, didn’t explode though so waste of time oh well now I know lol:)
I have a few times. Depending on how it’s struck, it can be a dud, or it can act somewhat like a grenade. Minimal damage, but it all helps.
Yep, I’ve got it a few times. Nearly everything is destroyed by the time it blows, and it’s not worth much anyway.
106,540 Same technique as in the video, just got lucky I guess. But it took me all day :D
108.2k so far. I prefer using 1st bird (red) to tip the back (will often take out one or two sandblocks). Then accelerate 2nd bird (yellow) directly into horizontal concrete bar in front. This will set off TNT. 2-birder possible, but the best outcome is to shoot the 3rd bird into last sandblock to finish whatever remains. Scores above 100k are commmon.

11-9, 110380 w/3 Birds.. Same strategy as “parlonsQc” since first day but new motivation today and I thank you for it..
1st shot – r/b tipped the pivotal structure over to the right.
2ndshot – y/b collapsed the low front of main structure with a super TNT/debris explosion.
3rd shot – y/b took out the two remaining sand block supports for some great collateral damage.

Managed 101200 using this method once but haven’t been able to duplicate it to increase my score.

114,230 Same as “parlonsQc” except 2nd bird hit just above first brick from bottom of tower and when TNT went off the debris took out the sand block that was left giving quit abit of collateral damage.
This is one of “those” levels where so much depends on collateral damage. I sent 1st bird higher, into cardboard box on left side, which then fell onto TNT, causing similar damage, usually taking out leftmost cage under sand blocks, you need about 35k at this point. As I repeatedly played this to improve my score I found switching 2nd & 3rd shots from video consistently gave me higher scores (not that they were all that impressive) but in the end this method allowed me to up my score by 4k. Actually managed this with 2 birds, as 2nd shot went all the way through under sand blocks to take the rest of the cages out, but with minimal damage score was only about 75k.
I haven’t been able to get above my initial score on this level 6 months ago, I do it all as in the video and keep coming up short about 2k points, I’ll have to leave this one as is.
110k 3 birds with @parlonsqc ‘s method 2nd shot made the middle structure wobble so got nice damage on the last shot, cheers!
