The leaderboard shows a score of 101,800, which means here has to be a one-bird solution. I did get the top platform to give once, but it didn’t clear all the monkeys. Launch the first bird to just clear the bananas, and it can start the avalanche. (I cleared everything with all 4 birds, and max is 75,000, so using two birds, the max would be 95,000)

Everyone has been asked, on every level to post HOW you got your score or HOW you did it with one bird. What is the point of saying u did it with one bird? This is a HELP section. The bragging section is called the leader boards.

Shelly, this post is one year old and the leader board was still in it’s infancy ;-)
We don’t get this kind of posts anymore.
Michelle below posted how she got a one birder, which is likely the only “lucky” way of doing it.
Good luck

Geez… tried so many times to get with one bird but no success. The closest monkey always survives with nearly everything else collapsing around it. My first shot is aimed just above the support to the dangling bananas and takes out the top monkey under the 3 crates and causes a break/collapse just beyond with the red bird falling through… but can’t get everything with 1 shot. Where is your first bird hitting when you’re clearing the whole screen with it?

By Michele

I just scored 103910 with one red bird. Just happened to hit the crate shown in the video just right it and started a cascade.

By dfarquhar

Is it possible to smash that red mushroom hiding out in the lower right corner? I’ve managed to hit it w/ the boulder, followed by a direct hit w/ the 2nd red bird, followed by a direct hit w/ the final yellow bird. I can only get it to bounce, can’t get it to break. Anybody had any luck?

I did mine differnt. I had 96240, and played about 4 times got a few “K” more :-). Just hit the red bird low UNDER bananas, in the corner backwards “L” to the top left hand side of bottom monkey, where the thicker vertical plank and thin hrizontal plank meet together, this causes the structure to be off balance and kills first bottom left monkey, then second YB about at the same trajectory tad bit higher then first bird, to go thru and hit TNT and everything goes!

I did see the comment above stating it must have been with only one bird. I just can’t recall that part. I had been playing over and over and over etc… I I do remember there was one banana left on the ground and my finger was cramping from playing so much. ;-). I have gotten a few scores over 100k with two birds since then. Either way, I’m surprised that my score has hung on this long.

I have here TWO strats that are way diffent than those listed above. They aim at the 5 thin blocks that are connected together, forming the spine of the structure:

1) this has a high success rate, and usually beats the average. FIRST BIRD: quite useless. You can try to ‘tenderize’ the spine, or pre-kill the most left marmoset (allthough he usually gets killed in the big destruction). SECOND BIRD: shoot in a high arc, and make sure it lands at the second-to-left part of the spine. That should make (or break) it.

2) in our quest for defeating The Monarch (also known as manu malin), you probally need a one-birder for this. Shoot the red bird the same as you would shoot the yellow bird in strat #1. Get the L-factor, and watch the awesome scenery.

Like @skolpadda and @fleshyskeleton, I aim for the little vertical wood above the bananas, hoping red bird ends up on the top side. Red bird will sometimes roll until it reaches a weak spot in the long branch/wood support, splitting it in half. Left monkey is hard to get, but I can get it fairly frequently. Repeat until you are happy with points :)

PS I never did get red bird to break the center crate directly.

I’m also here for the Challenge & improved by over 10k by getting a 1-birder for 105960 (it’s been a very long time some I moved into Top 50 with a Challenge score.) I was aiming slightly higher than video, more like to the left corner of the horizontal wooden board above the crate because with several other shots it looked like the little ‘ole red birdie then bounced down to hit the very small opening/seam/joint between the 2 boards below the crate [hope that makes sense, but not enough coffee yet :-( ]. When the downward bird bounce hit this joint, the bird fell into the space/opening/area with the marmoset just below the crate we’re all aiming for & this time everything slowly collapsed taking out all of the marmosets.

I wish I’d gotten a better screenshot to show where it hit, but by the time I realized it was going to be a 1-birder this was the best I could get: http://angrybir.de/1cgporw

This is taken right after with different zoom & gives a different perspective: http://angrybir.de/1cgjAOA

You’ll see there’s very little wood debris left. I imagine that when some of the right side of the structure fell it wasn’t all destroyed & is actually out of the pic because it doesn’t appear to be thousands worth of debris remaining yet some very reputable flingers have much higher scores.

@justpast40 nice score! There seems to be 2 different ways to 1-bird this, like you described aiming for the crate between the 2 marmosets. The crate doesn’t break but gets damaged, then Red drops to the space between the horizontal boards underneath & pushes the thick vertical block down. If there’s any movement wait to see if it will collapse as it can take more than 30 sec to really get moving.
The 2nd way is nicely described by @bonneypattycat above, aiming higher at the verticsl wood the bananas hang from. Red can roll along the top & breaks the horizontal board, although most of the time he gets hung up by the falling crates above him & rolls to the left instead.
I’ve had both these ways collapse the structure but the 1-birder still eludes me as that pesky marmoset on the bottom left keeps surviving.

Great scores! I wish I could remember just how I got my score – I really thought I used 2 birds, and but it’s been a while. I do remember that there was 1 banana left on the far right side and almost complete destruction. I was watching The Event and playing during commercials-maybe you can find it on Netflix and try it.

Thanks also to @wanda. Despite your comment several months ago, ….I’m not surprised your score is still standing, but I would be surprised if it really was 2 birds as I know how little debris I had left, then again….. months ago you also say it was your 1st Top Score & I know how memorable that is : – ). Very close to @lesleyg strategy with some adjustments, though luck and persistence seems to be the biggest influence. Send Red Bird at the intersection of the thin horizontal and vertical planks above and left of the leftmost Marmoset to soften up the horizontal planks. Avoid an initial hit of the thick vertical plank, it will tip over clearing the way for the second shot or occasionally you break through and take out that cheeky Marmoset. Then launch Yellow Bird right through the lower Marmoset that is sandwiched by the single crates. Hitting that lower spot increases the drop of the top heavy structure producing more distruction and points.
