Angry Birds Rio Golden Beachball Walkthrough Level #29

Our strategy for Golden Beachball level 29 is to loft a White bird nearly vertical, dropping the egg bomb onto the inner tubes below and ricocheting the bird into the top structure. Clear the top with a Blue bird, then use the rightmost inner tube to finish off the bottom structure. The score in the video below is 69,790.

Was hoping someone had found an easy, high scoring strat ….. In the meantime, here’s a method that scores higher than the video walkthrough.

First bird just like the video. With the blue birds, I aimed higher (around 45°) and split earlier, so that the bottom two took out the cage and most of the remaining structure on the platform, and the top one flew over and hit the fish. Then the third bird I aimed just like the first one, only I let it drop further down, dropping the egg on the inner tubes at the last second. The bird and egg then destroyed most of the structure under the platform and the remaining cages.

77k so far this way.

Not an easy strat, but I’ve been launching bird 1 over the structure and dropping the egg on the right tire so it bounces left to hit the lower structuture. The carcass takes out the fish and occasionally bounces back to the left over the top structure and rebounds from the two tires into the left side of the lower (sometimes the upper) structure. A one-birder may be possible (although I haven’t hit one yet). When all of the above happen, the second bird is an easy debris-clearer.

@abeggartoo very clever strat! I improved to 79,700 with a two-birder using your first shot with a good ricochet to the left. There definitely is one-birder potential this way. Seems like the best way to get the white bird to ricochet well is to go low over the structure on the platform and release the egg when the bird is even with the fish.

Confirmed! One-birder gives me current top position exactly as @abeggertoo and @hallieginsb describe. Bird activated so bomb drops on right tire and kill birds in the two rightmost cages. The bird hits then both the fish and the mountain. Then the bird went almost straight upwards and fell down destroying the top platform with nice debis, bird continued rolling to the left and nicely took out the two leftmost cages. This might have been a “once in a lifetime” shot. Lets see.

@abeggertoo And just got a one-birder with your first shot. This is definitely the way to go on this one!

I just hit a 1-birder too. Carcass rolled over the debris and dropped down to the bottom structure to finish up. Didn’t get the fish though. :-(

I NEVER would have figured out that strategy on my own! Thank you @abeggartoo! Scored a nice 1-birder after just 5 tries!

I released the egg when the bird was a bit lower than the fish. Tried to get a screen shot but I was too slow.

@bonneypattycat would your screenshot have looked like this I’d come so…close many, many, many times & finally got my 1-birder on Android phone for 80,530. I think I’ll try this one a few more times before moving to next level since when looking at debris there’s lots of points left & I want to go with the flow of positivity from the angry birds gods.

@justpast40, that looks about right except I had more damage up top. There was still a lot of points left below, but I am not sure how much more damage a 1-birder can do.

Thanks for the strat @abeggertoo ;-) I ALMOST got the one birdie, but the very top right cage survived. I took it out with the second bird. I got 81230 with two birds…which leads to believe a 90K – 92K score could be possible with a one birdie ;-)

Well now I’m up to 82590 with a one birdie but missed the fish. I’ve been able to get quite a few one birdies but until now, the scores were lower than my two birdie at 81230. Now all I need is a good one birdie AND the fish ;-)

This level is very addicting and I absolutely LOVE it ;-))) Very Fun…Very Rio!!!

Congrats on Top Score @mumsie42 ;-)))

Just got top score (for now) and came here to post my one bird strategy to find that @abeggartoo has already posted it! First bird went over structure, dropped egg on rubber rings and bird went up and hit glass fish and rebounded back onto first tires and everything went, then the white bird carcass gently bounced back and forth caught between the rubber rings and some ice and wood debris – racked up about another 500 points!

I use your strategy and got 1-birder!
But I lost blue fish…

Great strat @abeggertoo. The egg ricocheted into the bottom right cages, & something – maybe the cage with the 2 birds in it? I didn’t see what – hit the bottom right corner of the top structure destroying the triangle there & dropping the right hand cage off the platform.
The bird flew over to the left, bounced off the left tires through the yellow bird cage, & was high enough to damage the bottom left side of the upper structure causing the red cage to fall.

Didn’t beat the top score by much, & there was a lot of debris left behind.

Managed with luck with two birds. WB destroyed everything on the bottom, and I just needed the blues forthe right uppercage andthe icefish.

Ill try to recall what I did that netted me my only top score ever in Rio. I played all without looking here first and was stunned when I saw the top score.

Although I like this level wasn’t able (yet) to achieve a one birder. Instead of this I used three (3!) birds to get a score above 80k. So actually I’m thinking that the highscore in the future will rise.
