Angry Birds Rio Golden Beachball Walkthrough Level #19

Our strategy for Golden Beachball level 19 is to sling the Blue bird into the top half of the middle structure, hopefully blasting through and toppling the right structure as well. Launch the next bird straight ahead, pushing the first tower rightward so the TNT detonates next to the middle structure, clearing the level. The score in the video below is 82,490.

Blue bird. High arc split late to break the long glass plank of the middle tower.
This will clear the two left tower. Clear the right tower with second blue bird.
This give a bit more destruction as in the video. 86670

If you the first blues at the bottom left wood block and split late, you can get the TNT to fall to the right and take out most of the second tower. Haven’t been able to take out 3rd tower yet with second blues, so have to use WB.

@mvnla2 – This is what I came up with too when I just couldn’t get that 1st shot from the vid to work. Great minds!

Thank you @mvnla2, I got 90360 with 2 birds, for now a Top Score. I used a medium-high arc and split pretty late to hit the vertical glass piece on right tower taking out the remaining birds. I was actually surprised it worked as 1 of the split birds actually overshot the target. There are certainly more points out there as there was some wood debris remaining.

I forgot to add that most of the middle tower was gone leaving a very clears shot to 3rd tower.

Thanks for the strat @mvnla2 , I was able to improve my score almost 3K more this way with two birds. Although I think someone will come in and get a one birdie with this technique!!! I have come SO close to getting a one birdie here when the top diagonal wooden plank from the center structure flies over and hits the vertical blue piece of the last structure. So close but no cigar!
So…I sent the second blues in, aiming them in a medium to slightly higher arch and split very late so that it goes through the vertical blue piece and also gets the blue square.

P.S. Nice score @justpast40 ;-)))

Thanks @lesleyg. I’m sorry this is days after your PS, it’s not listed under my “mentions,” so I didn’t see it until I came back today after being bumped to #2 to see if tkschd posted the method for moving to #1…..@tkschd please share your method for the rest of us

@justpast40 – No worries ;-) Ah, the lovely “notification” that your score’s been beaten…I’ve had my fair share of those recently ;-))) btw, I have the same problem, I often don’t get the notice of a @ mention but come back to a page to later find replies…then it’s like, “o.k., should I reply a week later”, lol ;-)…It seems I have no problem getting the ” Your Top Score was beaten” notifications…why can’t those be the ones that don’t show up, tee hee ;-D I wonder why that happens sometimes…at least I know it’s not just me, lol…perhaps I need to “refresh” my screen more often. I do have a bad habit of forgetting to do that!

Hey MVNLA2 — Thanks! Had 76K first go round with your strat, then noticed that just about everyone was using it to get much higher scores. Now at 85710. Sure wish you’ld left more clues about exactly where to aim the first bird. Can’t say I can add anything, since have only gotten decent destruction with the 1st bird once this session. ; )
Used @justpast40‘s advice for 2nd shot.

I reversed the shot sequence and took out the front and center towers with the 1st BB. 2nd BB to the 3rd tower. 1 bird leftover.

A 1-bird solution is possible, and is similar to the strategies discussed here.

Blue bird high arch and release at the very end to destroy the vertial glass plank of tower #2.

When collapsing, part of tower #2 fell on the vertical glass plank of tower #3 and the whole thing collapsed.

More damage is surely possible, so I guess a score over 90k is feasible.

1-birdie. High arc split early such that the left blue bird hits the bottom glass of the middle tower, the middle blue bird hits the point immediately above the top left glass of the middle tower. With some luck, the middle blue bird will be ‘carried’ by falling debris and breaks the glass on the right tower.

I think I have got one-birdie with this method for probably 30 times but the score were all below 87k until the last time when I got 91200. So I guess it might be a suboptimal strategy, and it is really luck that gives me a top score (for now).

@hkg
same as your strat.
activate immediately, best result, when the bird split before he leave the slingshot.
one bird hit the glass of the middle tower (the bottom glas)
the other two birds hits the wood on top of the middle tower, the right side of the
tower fall to the right, one bird slide with the wood and break the glass on right tower.
rest is luck
