Boss fight! Our strategy for Carnival Upheaval level 8-15 is to launch the Red bird to bounce off the rubber in the middle and into the TNT in the top-right. The shower of stones will damage Mauro. Try to score a direct hit on Mauro with Blu. Loft the Yellow bird through the pig-shaped balloons above, dropping the TNT. As necessary, try to hit Mauro with the remaining birds. The score in the video below is 56,190.

I chose not to wait for the zero birdie or partial self destruction as this was the last level I needed to get above average in for all of Rio and I just wanted to finish. It just took several trys to get “deris” points, damage and hits to the Marmoset. I ended up sending red like first shot in video it took out the right floating pig balloon and red made contact with the Marmoset. Then I sent blue bird to the hidden tnt which a few of the pebbles hit the Marmoset. Then YB to cut thru left floating pig balloon and go on to hit far right tnt structure. He took a few more hits but was still alive so I lined Bomb bird up and waited a few seconds for him to come to the lowest left platform and once he did I hit him and the explosion fianlly got him to die. two two birds left for a score of 71410. I’ll take it and move on ;-) It think as long as you can hit all the balloons and tnts and have him hit with something on each throw you will end up with a decent score.

Did you need to throw any bird at all?
It’s all about timing… throw 1st bird at a certain point that it will destroy 2 balloons holding TNTs and TNT hub on top at the very same time when the monkey should be at top table. It will make a maximum damage to the monkey
I broke all four green balloons and waited over two hours but nothing happened. I had to continue flinging birds so I don’t really understand what others mean when they say all you have to do is get rid of the balloons. Perhaps developers have changed the game so this no longer works.
I recieved a score of 78,140. I waited for Mauro to land on the lowest base, and I flung Red at the boulders on top of the chicken float to make Mauro slip between the two floats. The other boulders knocked him out.
The 0 or better yet the 1-birder still works. Just before bedtime, I knocked out a few of the green balloons and the far right TNT with the first bird. I watched it for just a few minutes until the hidden TNT blew, at that point I had about 40k. I then left my iPad plugged in and the level stll running and said “good night!”. Woke up to 104k.
