Angry Birds Rio Carnival Upheaval Walkthrough Level 15 (7-15)

Our strategy for Carnival Upheaval level 7-15 is to use the White bird to bomb the left side of the first structure, ricocheting the bird through some of the sand blocks above the level. With the remaining birds, work your way left-to-right sniping the remaining marmosets. The score in the video below is 94,170.

I got 3 stars with a little over 94,000 on this level. It says above that the minimum for 3 stars is 97,000. Am I just super lucky today?

Perhaps a little lucky, but the “minimums” for Beach Volley and Carnival Upheaval are just estimates/guesses at this point. Haven’t had enough time to confirm everything. We at least try to over-estimate.

I would also like to add one thing. When you tell us you have a lower or higher score than what’s posted, we use that data to update our database, so it becomes more accurate over time.

Some tips for those who want to score 100,000 plus on this one. First, don’t be fooled into thinking less birds used automatically equals more points. I cleared with just two birds and only totaled enough points for one star. Also, those magicrubberbouncytrampoline-like things at bottom of screen can make an average shot capable of wiping out everything but the highest critters. Example: White bird’s grenade egg can bounce out of sight only to appear seconds later falling swiftly and able to BRAIN a marmoset before it can shake it’s furry little head at you. Take advantage of the bounce.Aloha.

102,110…..keeping in mind what you said about those bouncy things! 2,000 of my points were from a block bouncing for 5 minutes. May as well do some cleaning while you’re waiting, you not only get more points but your significant other thinks you work too hard!

In case this question was to me jt, I followed the video. Just got a new score of 111,420. The bouncing birds, blocks and triangles are a huge help in increasing the score. Good luck.

107280, in three birds. Got in two birds, but gives you less points.

With your second bird (the yellow one) make sure you take out both the green balloons, worth 10,000. The monkey on the far right should be all that is left by this stage.

Up to date with Rio again now. Not impressed with Blu. I was hoping to get Luiz in more levels. And I was expecting a boss character at the end of each theme (like Nigel). Still, plenty more to go.

Aim first white bird high towards top of blue feather, drop the egg so that the bird strikes the sand block of first two structure. This drops the triangle brick to destroy almost everything below. Second bird destroys the two red balloon marmoset as well as far right brick/wood structure. Launch third bird high and tap to make it go horizontal, striking the very far right high structure sand blocks. Two birds left over.

114100, with two birds. Got completely lucky with momma bird 1. Hit first tower with egg, bird colided with two floating towers above, falling debris took out a number of marmacets, then the bird bounced a number of times taking out all but the last marmacet on the last floating tower. One yellow bird finished the job. Just luck :)

Found a start that doesn’t require a lucky bounce and got me close to 118k (I suspect 120k can be broken that way).

First bird drop bomb in front of the first structure. The goal here is to get the three left most marmosets, the two green balloons and the marmoset holding the three small balloons.
You do not want to trip any of the triangle stone block, this is key.
At this point you should have the left most marmoset remaining, and most likely one marmoset holding a red balloon. The right structure doesn’t have to be destroyed.

Second bird through the sand block below the highest triangle stone and follow through the sand block holding the stone above the right structure and into the rightmost marmoset.

@sadbird – I have to whole heartedly thank you for bringing me back here with your “mention” ;-) I came here to reply to you and decided to give it a few tries and I have greatly improved my score several times ;-))) On one occasion I had a really great first bird shot that only left the far right monkey alive. While one birdies don’t usually score very high on this level, it sure would have in this case. I had 75180 after the first shot so if I would have gotten him too, even with no other “debris” points, that would have been 80180 with 4 bonus birds giving me a score of 120180! Here’s a screenshot of the trajectory:

http://i1251.photobucket.com/albums/hh549/AngryAdvisor/Angry%20birds/image001-1.png

(I hope the link works…I had to use photobucket as my Album is at max)

Of course I mucked up the second shot and missed the darn right ape. That one left-over sand and triangle there in the middle always likes to stay in the way of a clear shot! I had to use three birds and ended up with 109K+. Of course I had to fling some more for another chance. I’ve had several good scores using that same trajectory in the pic. I aim towards the feather and drop the egg left of it. (If you look in the background, it’s right about where the tiny guy sits with the mustache, just slightly left of the one holding the camera.)

The idea is to get all the left monkeys, both big pig balloons and hopefully the three string balloons too. WB will bounce off the middle bouncers and take out most of the cement and wood structure there just left of the right wooden crates. It’s a really fun shot to watch WHEN it all goes well.

My best so far was again with three birds.
First Bird…the same as before.
Second bird….clear away that leftover sand and cement triangle up top (that one I mentioned above that messes up my path) but when it drops you can pick up a few more debris points down below.
Third bird… I try and get up and over the second-to-the-last triangle to take out the sand under the right most one so that you get a few extra points rather then just going through the monkey. GL! Maybe some of these tips will help you too ;-)

@lesleyg what you said so long ago is still so true – this level is what it is. And it’s all about a lucky bounce or two.
My 1st shot was similar to what you described, I got the 3 left marmosets, left structure, & both marms with their pig balloons, plus it also took down the 2nd high triangle stone. The WB carcass started bouncing around & took out the right structure.
I sent the YB to the sand & marmoset with the 2 red balloons in the middle. Then the L-factor kicked in. The YB started bouncing & ended up dropping the triangle on the right, the one that is above the right structure. That triangle fell, bounced up once & hit the sand holding the far right marmoset.
Every try at this is so different, I haven’t come even close to that score again. Best I’ve managed is 107k with 3 birds.

@karen68 – That must have been a beautiful sight ;-) I’ve had WB bounce up and take out that triangle on several occasions but, not the far right monkey too! Nicely done!!! I’m having zero “L” factor with this level…actually, it’s a quite infuriating level, Just when you think you’ve done pretty good with WB, followed by a decent second and/or third shot…the final score says otherwise, lol ;-)

Not a strat, just a comment… got 109k…. 8k of that came over the course of about 11 minutes of a wood triangle piece bouncing repeatedly…. thought it might go forever at one point…. slowly racked up 8,000 in increments of 20 points…. not sure if I was getting points for anything other then the wood slowly crumbling…. thought I heard once a slow destruction usuallybetter then quick…. this would certainly support that argument….stay tuned for screenshots
