Our strategy for Airfield Chase level 9-10 is to fire the Yellow bird head-on into the wooden base of the left tower. Next, fire the White bird over the plane and drop the bomb slightly right of the middle. The explosion should cause the tail to fall on the gas can and clear the right side of the level. All that remains in an arcing shot to reach any remaining cages. The score in the video below is 94,440.

Note! With the v1.3.1 update Rovio flip-flopped level 9-10 and 9-11, hence why the level number in the video below shows “9-11″. The walkthrough is correct though and the leaderboard entries have all been switched to reflect this change.

First yellow bird shot through the tail of the airplane, into the gas can to explode the 2 caged birds and the suitcase.

i would think 110k+ is fathomable depending on how things explode and fall.
FYI.. I found this to be the 2 nd hardest of all the RIO levels to 3 star. (tied with Beach Volley 5-4 and the 1st being 5-11)
After many, and I do mean many, tries, I stumbled upon the method in the video. I truly can’t see any other way. The key to 3 stars is to use the white bird to make the tail section of the plane take out the blue dynamite and destroy the 2 bird cages, suitcase, and some fruit.
Here is a slight variation for a higher score:
To increase the score, you have some play with bird no. 1. I aimed it a little higher and it shoots right through the wood, hitting the red dynamite, upping your score. After Bird 1 explodes The red TNT, you should have up around 42k. Then you deal with the back half of the board. But again, it all depends on getting the 2nd (white) bird just right… Just follow the video.
The Hardest level to 3-star is in Jungle Escape level 4-14.
I personally hate this level….tried for 3 days….This site is the best…

A. 1st yellow birds aim front tower bottom of the wooden part, make it destroy and explode the jerrican .. I got 43k (if lucky, 45k shuold be possible)
B.2nd white bird, aim far 45-50 degree , approaching the top of red bird cage then drop.
B-1 : Triangle wood of tail will explode the right side.
B-2 : high score depends on how perfect destroy of the right side

I used this method however I got my best score with three birds because the blue bird cage in the middle section isn’t easily taken out with second shot so I used third bird to get him for 103480. Great strat..Thanks!!!

This level is now 9-10 on my iPhone… And vice versa.
Same here, LOL I think some users got offended when they saw an airplane facing a building in level “9-11″.
Why is that LOL funny?
Because its just a small coincidence, and some people overreacted so they swapped the level. So its funny in a way.
The switch of levels 9-10 and 9-11 seems to have created some confusion with the leaderboard scores. The top couple of scores on this level don’t look realistic. It seems that perhaps they are really for the old level 9-11, and the players haven’t applied the latest update.
Probably true. We will try to keep track of them and manually swap their scores. Unfortunately, Android is not updated to v1.3.1 yet, so this will be an ongoing issue.
My iphone 4 has updated 1.3.1 today, levels are switched now.
I suppose they didn’t like an “airplane” to be exactly in level “9-11″…
So, everybody is kindly asked to update and freshen up the leaderboards.
iOS is the only platform to receive this update. Android has not been offered yet. Once Android receives this change, we will try to fix up the board. In the meantime, there’s not much to do.
1. Seems that the 1.3.1 update hasn’t hit Android yet. Mine is still 9-11.
2. I think we could shoot the last white bird as well, as the bomb seems to earn way more than 10k points.
3. I really don’t know how people get 42k (or even more) on that first shot. I hardly reach 36k+, and only reached 40k once in a fluke.
1) Yes, we badly need Android to receive the v1.3.1 update. It was designed for iOS to be a stability fix for loading issues, but Rovio could simply call it a “bug fix” for Android.
2) Personal opinion on what you think you can get.
3) The suitcases are big time bonuses.
I think you’ve misinterpreted 3, slim. By “that first shot” I meant the shot into the control tower. The guys in the other walkthrough (9-11) claimed that they got some 42k+ on the shot into the control tower. I repeated that numerous times in vain. (And of course I know the suitcases are worth points.)
I hit 41.5k, so I think it must be possible for a good (or lucky!) player to get 42k plus – a lucky shot can send debris from the tower into the air and destroy some of the plane on the way back down
Hey Bird Leader, it looks as if the comments for 9-10 and 9-11 still need to be swapped. Posting this in the current 9-11, and the discussions are still about the airplane level.
Also, still have some scores that are backwards, D.O.N.S., Greg655321, legriff, and probably the others that are over 100K on the 9-11 leaderboard. I would think the highs there should only be in the upper 90s.
Kind of difficult to fix the leaderboard since Android has not received the switch yet.

1st bird to hit at the base of the left structure, penetrate and explode the red jar.
2nd bird should drop the egg just middle of the airplane with low trajectory.
3rd to destroy remaining on right along with hidden apple.
