This is our walkthrough video for Angry Birds Rio Carnival Upheaval Star Bonus Level #14. The level is unlocked by earning 50 stars in Airfield Chase. Send a Red bird through the vertical blocks next to the fire extinguisher. This can clear almost the entire level, which must make Red feel awesome! Send another Red bird into the dangling cage on the right side, causing the crane to topple to earn some extra points. The score in the video below is 90,670.

Alternatively, you can send the first bird into the end of the lower horizontal stone plank on the left side. A variety of outcomes are possible, but the easiest successful one is to push over the whole structure to the right (the bird doesn’t do it directly; it causes the stones on the upper left to fall, which cantilevers the whole thing to the right). Exploding the TNT helps with the score, but it isn’t necessary. When I got my best score, one of the explosives took out the front of the truck, including that maddening yellow cage. That left an easy shot to take out the last two cages with the same shot as the video.
Thank you for this alternative @austinrhl. I’ve been trying off and on for a couple of days, my strategy the same as the vid. Could not break 3*. Your method worked much better for me. Taking my 3*s and happily saying good-bye to this one *laugh*.
i Think this is just like @austinrhl explained http://youtu.be/gjro0IEYEL8 ,but i just got my best score not long ago by going through the 2 wooden verticals above the light blue bird,where the red canaster is ,quite often it will take out all the birds ,but u need to take the 2nd shot quick ,and as low as possible on the left bottom triangle ,u can get it to fall so the whole of the metal ends up falling left and breaking the truck ,u can try changing those 2 shots around as well ,,Good luck
@austinrhl thank you for this alternate strat. I could barely 3* this with the walkthrough but your way got me above average fairly quickly to finally inch my score up to 103k. The first shot does play out in different ways but at least it works. For the 2nd shot, like the video but Red went through the wire triangle & sat there with the tower balanced on top, this is important as the tower falls more straight down to the left instead of crumbling, this way the stone blocks on top fall onto the truck, doing more damage.
Boy, did I get lucky using this strat! Couldn’t believe I got a score of 104,170. The momentum of the left structure moving to the right caused all to collapse, but left the red bird that’s hanging from the chain intact. A lucky shot at the base of the right tower went through the hanging red bird and it toppled almost as one piece to the left and took out everything!
@austinhrl, got over 100k using your strat. First bird even detonated the tnt, after this I messed up the second one, so I had to use the third one – spoiling 10k. So I think that scores in the 120 are possible.

When I got here the average was 96k. I got three stars quickly. but the average was higher. My strat. for the high score is go for the far tower first, you must have it for good score. Next down low for the gas can. then clean up if necessary.
I have played AB airfield chase star bonus 14 hundreds of times And cannot get more than two stars.. I even got all the birds on one try and still only got 2 stars.. What’s going on?.
You need to get the damage points. There’s plenty there. Less birds may not yield higher scores.
OK, I know I’ve said this before for other levels but this has got to be one of the hardest to three-star AND get above average. I haven’t managed either yet…
