Angry Birds Poached Eggs 3 Star Walkthrough Level 1-17

A good strategy for Poached Eggs level 1-17 is to take out the two supporting wood planks holding up the structure. This should take it down and you can use one of the remaining yellow birds to mop things up. The score in the video below is 55,500.

If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments, as that's what the leaderboards are for.

In my opinon the only way to get a decent score here is via one birder.
So, if that doesn´t happen, restart. Shoot as shown on video, maybe a bit lower.

same hit location as the vid for a 1b, just aim a bit lower and ZOOM sooner so it goes in at flatter angle,55K also, did a 1 hitting just above the little block on the 2nd floor.drive in on a horizontal plane,, now I loaded up with Super Seed and blasted for 63,850

Try as I might, I can’t seem to make this strat work for the 1-birder. Nothing seems to cause enough damage with the structure AND take out the pigs. Perhaps if you were able to refine the description of the optimal impact point???

I agree @truckdriver I found no area that I hit would give me a 1 birdie, I got a decent enough score with 2 my smashing most of the wood along with popping the piggies, meh I’ll take my well I guess not ” decent ” score since I used 2 birds and move on! ;D

Used two birds to increase the score a bit. Aimed at the bottom left horizontal wood block on top of the grey board.

Obtained a one bird solution, once, by launching the yellow bird on a straight line into the same area. The activation for the yellow bird is upon release from the sling.
Zoom out a little and line up the sling on the stem of the bottom right leaf. This provides a basis for aiming so small adjustments can be made.

Average score which needs improved. The score is dependent of the elimination of the blocks.

The trick is to destroy the wood block under the lower left pig. Then with the rest of the structure falling, it should cause the wood planks surrounding the lower right pig to fall right, taking the pig with it. Have patience and don’t reset too soon until the dust clears. I’ve flung yellow bird almost 100x before I got the present score. So, over 60k is possible with persistence. But for now I’ll settle for what I got and move on.

Tips for eagle destruction on Chrome:

- I think the hardest part about this feather is the right placement of the sardine can. Destroying all the wood is easy, but try to land the can on the edge of the left horizontal block of stone. This shot is very challenging but the result will be great. Those struggling, keep trying!

Shoot on the horizontal beam supported by the target beams described in this tutorial: guaranteed one bird shot

Since I’ve had a stock pile of sardine cans in FB.. I decided to go back and see about getting some feathers.

Not sure if this is a bug or not.. but after placing the sardine can anywhere on the ground.. as the eagle is coming in and the screen starts to go dark, sometimes the pigs pop themselves before the eagle gets anywhere near them.

I used about 5 cans to test this.. happened 4 out of the 5.

Using video method I have only obtained 57,300. I see more than 600 higher scores posted here with top scores in the low 60s. I’m curious if those scores are one or two bird shots… Or using power ups???

I had 57,000+ with 2 birds and no debris. And 2 one birders, one of 58,000+ and my present score and there was debris remaining in both cases so higher scores are possible.

So I think anything over 58,000 must be a one birder (or, shame if true, using powerups).

Thanks for replying @cjcp, this level was really giving me fits :) I finally managed a couple 1-birders, but they were both only 56k, less than my best 2-bird score of 57k. I kept at it and finally got a 59k 1-birder. I think I’ll settle for that… For now ;

One bird for my 60k. A slight (2k) increase on my previous score which was done with two birds. I fired the YB just above level and accelerated it, about half way in it’s journey, so that it hit the first pig from above. This resulted in a good collapse of the front and top part. It takes a bit of luck but the top piece of wood surrounding the other pig leant right and collapsed pulling the last pig with it. I’ve had this happen a few times now but with rather disappointing scores. So, keep at it!

Wow, I had hard times getting 3 stars with two birds. Even with some very lucky shots, there’s just not enough damage to compensate for the second wasted bird. Tough!
