Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Friends on Facebook Tournament Level 3 Week 58 which began the week of June 24th, 2013. Our non power-up strategy for this level is to send Orange directly into the first tower to clear the pigs in that area. Then loft Matilda high into the right tower to destroy the remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 102,000 even.

This is my strategy for 111K points with power-ups. Wingman SS and KS, then white bird:

Same strategy as joaroyo. 110K
On an iPad mini, I used the strat except in reverse order. Send loaded WM on a slightly higher arc so that it smashes into the “seated pair” on the right side of the playing field. The WM will then bounce off the back wall and take out even more debris. Use second bird to mop up remaining pigs and debris on the left side of the playing field. NOTE: If timed right, the deflated WB will bounce off the back wall and take out even more debris for more points.
ADDED NOTE: Though I haven’t been able to do it successfully yet, try launching the first OB+KS on a very steep arc so that it “threads the needle” and comes down between the back wall and the vertical cement beam on the far right of the playing field. I have a hunch a 1-bird is possible for a score approaching 140k, or more. Lemme know if you’re successful! Happy Flinging! –muK :)

Maybe try OB+KS+SS, too, but it’s a very difficult, extremely high arc shot that I have yet to make. Seems possible, but am not sure. I have a hunch it will be the 1-bird winner for 140k+ before the weekend :) Problem is this: it will “eat” a lot of PUs, which cost $$$ :(

Nice Score!! @dseufert!! I have been having problems with this level and level 5. Every time I power up, the level crashes!! I’ve had to use my nephews account, when I was visiting…but keep trying!! Rovio has said they are working the issues, as many arose after their changes last Thursday!!

No PU strategy:
As in video, but don’t inflate manually. Aim high, just under the stones, and let the structure collapse and the bird bounce back and inflate by itself for maximum destruction. On a good run you will have some debris fly over and collapse some of the right structure. 1-birder is possible but 2 birds generally give higher scores. Bomb the second bird on the remaining right structure.

Aim high so that the Orange Bird land on the top of the first structure (first Big Pig) and inflate manually. Then WM + KS + SS and aim for the right structure. almost 123k!

@bambenio,It’s definitely the difference between the different platforms!! I noticed that again this week, when 2 levels I tried on my brother’s iPad, produced significantly more than the PC/Facebook!! Yes, Rovio has told me, they did the tweaking, and all platforms should be functioning identically!! Me not think so!! more tweaking required!! Anyone want a copy of what/why they did things let me know!!
@terribletom I agree. Certain platforms seem to have an advantage over others. For me, on an iPad, this week’s levels 2, 3, and 5 seem to favor iOS mobile platforms. I can score well. On the other hand, the other levels seem to favor Mac or PC via Facebook. I can’t seem to do well at all or come anywhere close to the rest of you of those levels :) Oh, well. I’m having fun anyway. Hope you are, too!

incredible… i was starting to get real frustrated.. cuz my high-score was 119k and it seemed to be almost perfect shot..
I’ve tried to use Sumikam’s start.. but my best 1st shot was 55k.. which resulted in 121k score.
But with your start (maybe in 10 or so shots) i managed to do such start (61k 1st shot) and finished up with 123k total

THIS IS the right aimming angle for No-PU’s score of 73k w/1st-bird only…
FOR FULL 1-bird…
Sling aiming for the wooden squares under 1st stone boulder… if pass, when in middle on both wooden boxes with pigs… activate Orange for almost full lvl cleaning… only stone “chair” on the left and few debris left.
