Angry Birds Friends Tournament Level 2 – Week 13 – August 13th

Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Friends on Facebook Tournament Level #2 Week 13 (this tournament began the week of August 13th, 2012). This level is crazy! Our strategy for this level is to fire the red bird down to weaken the top portion of the structure (not really sure if this is helpful). Now fire the yellow bird at the wall, speed boosting before hitting the bounce pads, so as he comes back and hits the edge of the wood beam holding up the TNT. This will cause the TNT to fall and the resulting explosion may be powerful enough to release the bouncy balls and total decimate the level. The score in the video is 142,050.

Our Angry Birds Friends Tournament walkthroughs show you how to obtain 3 stars and highscores with and without Power Ups. If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments. Tournament walkthroughs are added weekly as new levels come out, so be sure to check the walkthrough page.

It’s a pity they made a BQ level. It had a lot of potential.

165200 with 100% destruction. It seems to be one of those levels where different scores are possible for the same result. Could it be depending on the manner in which things get destroyed?

This is MY strategy…Best of all, it’s very repeatable:

1. Open laptop
2. Open I.E.
3. Logon to Facebook/PaulAnthony63/AngryBirdsFriends/EasiestLevelEVR
4. Use Bird Quake

I may have left a few moves out….like…hmmm….OH ya, I took a drink from my soda. And…I did stretch my wrists. That is important as too much repetition can cause carpal tunnel. Okay…that’s about it…ENJOY ~

I was wondering if anyone has been able to replicate the original video here? I’ve tried hundreds of times and the TNT never falls just right like in the video. It always blows up before it falls.

Indeed , i have used many quakes and my scores were between 160.000 and 167.000. One issue though. If one of you has limited quakes, the trick is to use the power-up when the level begins. Before the first bird jumps on the slingshot. If you do it after 4-5 seconds, you will end up with nothing. Do it quickly, before the bird jumps on the slingshot.

Dudes this is not the easiest way….. dont fire any birds at all… just use one tremor (if thats what it is called) and the the redballs explode taking the whole thing down………….

Do we really need 20 people saying “use the birdquake”? I am stuck at 140k and was hoping to see some non power up strategies but was denied. :/

Hi George. I feel your pain…believe me. The most notable non-powerup strategy is pretty much spelled out in the walkthrough at the top of this page. I really don’t think that this level will produce a top score without using the BQ. To me, it looks as though Rovio intended for this to be a battle of the birdquakes for the highest of scores. As you can see, even though most everybody used the BQ, the range higher scores are quite close. It’s just something we have to deal with from week to week. You should register and join in on the fun. It’s free and there are many friendly people that love to share strategies in great detail.

I too was frustrated that there wasn’t much discussion on here about various non-power up strategies and I find using the quake to be more than a bit inane as a solution. So, I started experimenting and I found a decent two-birder strat.

Looking down on the left side of the stack, find the left horizontal plank that the tnt sits upon, above the two pigs. Weaken that plank with the RB, hopefully killing the leftmost pig. When you do this, especially if you hit the plank on the extreme left end, you will sometimes blow up the tnt and a couple times I have gotten very close to a one-birder when that happens, but for this particular strat you want to leave the tnt intact. Now, as you most likely already figured out, you want to aim the YB down the left side and follow the RB’s lead, with the idea of taking out the leftmost diagonal strut and triangular block. A nice bonus is that you have the RB’s trail on the screen to line up the YB with, and if you hit a bit further right with the RB than you really wanted, you can use the RB’s trail to adjust closer to the strut. All that’s left is to hope that the bottom left tnt gets shaken up enough to blow.

I’ve managed to make this work a couple times resulting in a 148,000 and 151,000 score and I haven’t been able to duplicate the method displayed in the above video at all. You’re not going to be able to replicate a quake score, but if you eschew power-ups, give this strat a go. Hope it helps.
