Angry Birds Friends PigMania Tournament Level 6 Week 125 Walkthroughs | October 6th 2014

Below you will find our Highscore Power-up and non Power-up walkthrough videos for Angry Birds Friends on Facebook Pigmania Tournament Level #6 Week 125.

3-Star Walkthrough – Score: 160,560

Our non power-up strategy for this level is to fling the blue bird towards the top spinning pig. With a little bit of luck, falling debris should clear the middle section. Then send both red birds to clear the two remaining spinning pigs.

Power-up Walkthrough – Score: 168,360

Our power-up highscore strategy for this level uses the following Power-ups:

  • Golden Slingshot
  • The Wingman
  • Power Potion

Our Angry Birds Friends Tournament walkthroughs show you how to obtain 3 stars and highscores with and without Power Ups. If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments. Tournament walkthroughs are added weekly as new levels come out, so be sure to check the walkthrough page.

Jingle Sling-No P/U’s Blue Bird high arc, and split high, so they rain down on pigs in air. Follow up with red bird(s) where needed, Falling debris will get pigs on ground. 1 bird left. 162k

Split first one right after release so that lower bird destroyed first spinning pig with two stone cubes and upper bird hit upper pig with stones. Got quite much cleared up sometimes. Small red at the upper pig and sometimes got right pig with stones also. Once was even only one pig left after two birds. And second red to kill remaining pig or pigs. 163K without PU’s and special slings.

ATTENTION! There’s a “global” glitch this week that seems to favor PC/FB on all levels (except maybe level 2). Take advantage before Rovio “fixes” it.

PUs will add significant points to your score, but non-PU players on PC/FB may benefit from global glitch, too. Major disadvantage to mobile users this week. Unfair on each level by several k-points :(

Here’s the glitch-trick… clear all the pigs in as few birds as possible. Then, as the remaining birds are tallied with “10,000” over each bird, wait until it reads “10,000” over the very last unused bird, then immediately hit the NEXT LEVEL arrow-button in the lower right corner of the screen. You will then see on your summary score page an extra 10k per unused bird!

I cannot take credit. I first learned about the glitch from a FB-friend while playing level 4. Since then, the glitch on PC/FB seems to work on all other levels. Try it before it may be too late :)

@dseufert Just curious, is there any indication you’ve gotten the extra points before the level cleared screen, i.e. hearing birds cheer again, extra 10k graphics, or do the points just appear on your score total? I ask because this sounds much like the double-counted bonus birds bug (DCB) in Rio, which I wrote the book on. Although this glitch doesn’t seem to be triggered in the same way, the end result seems to be exactly the same.

@kelani I play with sound set very low or muted altogether, so I can’t tell you if there’s a correlation between sound and glitch timing. This glitch is connected to the timing when you hit the NEXT LEVEL arrow-button. If too , soon, then any remaining unused birds won’t be counted double. If you don’t hit the button at all, then your score will be tallied as normal. To take full advantage of glitch, wait until the “10,000” appears over the last unused bird, then immediately hit the button. I haven’t played in several hours, since this morning. Maybe the glitch has been reported and fixed already. Unsure. But it sure screwed up this week’s tournament already by giving an extreme scoring advantage to PC users. Those who play solely on mobile devices (iOS or Android) will be very disappointed this week :( Unfair.

@dseufert Thanks so much for the info. I’d need to play this level to confirm it, but I’m 99% sure this is the same bug as in Rio. By that, I mean the problem in the game code that causes it is the same. Your trigger is very different than Rio. I apologize for being vague, but I just can’t risk teaching people how to exploit the bug. I’m sure nobody wants stuff like this floating around. That pic is an extreme example of the bug’s capabilities, but if this is the same bug, any score is possible.

Anyway, I hope they fix it for you, and make sure it doesn’t re-appear in future tournaments. But if my experience with Rovio is any indication, they’re not too concerned about it. (I reported the cause, trigger, and how to fix it in March, but it’s still unfixed). At least you guys only have to be inconvenienced by it for a week. In Rio, those glitched scores are numerous and permanent :(

@kelani Thanks, too, for your info. The general rule of thumb for itinerant, individual glitches when posting scores on the Nest has been that those rare scores are deleted from the leaderboards because they can’t be duplicated by others. In this case, the glitch CAN be easily duplicated by any ABF player using PC/FB. Assuming that most players are using PC, or at least have the option of playing on PC, it would be unfair to keep the glitch-trick a secret, especially when so many have already used the glitch and posted their extremely inflated scores. It would be a nightmare for the ABF moderators to delete so many scores from the leaderboard! Not to mention all the feedback! (I haven’t heard back from mods yet re: this subject, @sal9 and @amslimfordy :)

Also, many of us Nesters are also friends on FB. Just like the Nest, we share strats, pics, and vids regularly with each other. Unlike the Nest, once our scores are tallied on ABF, they are permanent and can’t be changed even if a glitch. On our FB group, however, the player with top score MUST support the score with a pic or video, otherwise it is removed and not counted. When the glitch was reported early yesterday morning by a player on FB who got an amazing score, about three dozen other players immediately jumped on it (I believe the glitch was first discovered on level 4) until the cause or “trigger” was detected and reported to all (I believe by a fellow Nester). Then it was quickly discovered that the glitch works on all levels. The chaos and flurry began as many played using the glitch thinking that Rovio would “fix” it too soon before players could take advantage of it :) Hehe…

As far as I know (I haven’t been online for almost 24 hours) the glitch only works on PC, which gives mobile players an extreme disadvantage. For more info on platforms and browsers, come join us in the forum on the Nest with a similar name under Forums/AB Friends. –MB :)

Except that it isn’t available to everyone because it was fixed So now those high scores are no longer available to get. So at least they were right about getting it might be fixed soon.
