Jingle Sling-No P/U’s Blue bird to balloons lower level. Yellow bird to upper structure, setting off TNT on upper right, dropping everything. 227k
Same way, but without PU’s and special slings. Pieces fell better and got 231K score.
225k is three stars.

Same strategy as @Sal but used golden sling with FLW and he went over three edge of glass pit and continued to roll, taking out additional debris for 258600.
@petesgirl Almost the same as Sal and you accept At end I used FLW Bouncy and bounced into the glass pit on the left side he then bounced out to the right taking out more debris.

Trying to work on getting higher, I’ve managed with first bird to try and take out most upper structures accept for the far right one before trying to proceed even further.
I have also tried using FLW bouncy for 1st bird and just aiming across into lower balloons hitting on far wall and he either bounces back into glass pit or bounce into upper right tnt. ( thats how I got my 1st score of 253k )
@cricketluv Show off!! Jk – I’ve played around with the slings and had best luck with JS so far. (Except KS for FLW, of course) Something keeps stopping WM when I use BS.
@petesgirl I needed that giggle. Just trying to give other ipad users different strats as I think you are on pc so everything works different.

But, I know what you mean about the slings and P/ups . It all works so differently when people post their strats but fail to mention whether done on pc or ios. So I have to adjust when I finally figure it out lol
@cricketluv I actually don’t use PC! HA! I’ve tried but as many times as I have to repeat a level, using the mouse is inefficient. I use my IPad occasionally but mostly Android. You have been on fire lately, maybe I should be using my IPad more!

I’ve noticed that this week, I’m having better luck, using multiple slings to complete levels. Could just be me though!!

Hi everyone. I am very new at this so please forgive and newbie mistakes. I am not a fan of power ups. Never have been and probably never will. But I enjoy playing the weekly friends tournament. The problem is that I keep finding myself in the Diamond league and have a very tough time competing there. In the lower leagues I can do pretty well without power ups but I can’t understand why it’s soooo much harder in the diamond league. So my question is, can somebody that knows about all this tell me if its just my bad luck and poor aim or do you really have to use power ups to compete in this League. I really like how the ABNest folks show you both ways in their videos so why doesn’t Rovio allow for the same options and divisions (meaning PUs or no PUs) for each weekly level? Or do they and I’m just missing it? Thanks to anyone that read all this. Keep poppin’!
@madresuperiora First, welcome to the nest. I’m fairly new myself and have found that reading through the comments here, has helped my game significantly. I resisted Power-ups for a long time but now I just see how far I can get without and use them when I believe I’ve gotten as high a score as I can. With only using the coins I’ve earned, I’ve managed to get to 4 star level so far. I use power-ups after I have a good feel for the level and think I can maximize on points. Hope this helps!!
