Angry Birds Free 3 Star Walkthrough Level 4-1

This method by Scarbzscope yields 61,460 points using 2 out of 4 blue birds. Another fairly easy level to 3 star. My high score so far is 62,430.

i just got a 1 bird solution (totally on accident) with a score of 62160

i can’t figure out how to make it split into three, even when I tap the screen (whenever I tap the screen, it launches it) any extra help on how to do it, or otherwise any help of how to just beat the level (I don’t care about the rating)

You have to pull back on the bird and launch it, THEN you tap anywhere on the screen and it’ll split.

I can’t quite get this one to work either. I am consistently clearing the level & hitting about 58K – 59K points… I just can’t seem to get them to do enough damage to get 60K+.
This is the level that is making me want to tear my hair out! GAAAHHH!!

Finally solved this puzzle (finding a strategy to get maximal scores) as well I think.
As it turns out, the solution I found was here on angrybirdsnest all the time,
it’s the one in the video (hadn’t looked since wanted to find a solution myself). Some key points of it:
First bird: aim and split it so that the lowest of the three birds just goes over the vertical wood
second from the left (the leftmost one in the middle layer).
The effect to be achieved by this is that the wooden blocks on the right end
up on the bottom and the remaining glass is lined up on top of it.
This can be achieved quite consistenly (but of course usually the lineup
is not perfect for the next bird).
The problem is then to kill the leftmost pig (usually the only one that remains),
and in the process destroy the lined up glass. The latter is hindered by direct
`access’ to it being (partially) blocked by the vertical wood (the one mentioned above).
Second bird: take a slightly lower trajectory than the first one, and split
to make the lowest bird go below the wood (to kill the pig) and the
highest bird just over it (to destroy the lined up glass blocks).

The above strategy gave me scores over 64,000 every few minutes,
three times above 66,000 and my current high-score of 67,600 within
2 hours of trying. I am pretty sure that higher scores
can be achieved since sometimes ricocheting birds caused the blocking wood
to get a bit skew and once even to topple over to the left of the structure
(only happened to me once), giving access to all
the glass blocks, so they could all be destroyed (with my current highscore there
were still two or three of them left) by a well-aimed second shot
(I didn’t succeed that time…)

Thanks for taking the time to share the strategy, it helps out a lot of users here at ABN ;)

Thanks for the strat. I’ve been checking my scores, filling in some of the blanks, when I noticed this one a mere six (6) points below average. It’s amazing how something like this can rankle, sometimes, so you just have to fix it.

I had good luck splitting a little earlier with the first bird taking out the majority of the structure and pigs.
A second did an admirable job of clean up of glass.

excellent score @playdbird

as far as i remember (it’s been 2 years), it didn’t seem to matter much when to split as long as the intended effect (as described above) was achieved, but maybe it does?

btw what’s with the frequently changing nicknames? just curious. it’s somewhat intriguing; some of them remind me of the nicknames automatically generated by apple when your nick is offensive.
