a one-bird strategy:

* throw the black/bomb bird through the hanging structure against the stalactite.
be sure not to hit/destroy the helmet of the pig on the structure (see below).
let both the hanging structure and the bomb fall until they are aligned well enough
to launch the structure forcefully to its left upon detonation, taking out the pig
on the left (sitting to the right of the tower) and sending the helmet of the
pig on the hanging structure, /into/ the tower on the left.

the strategy has some major chance parts;
1) the bomb bird should bounce enough off the stalactite to stay close
enough to the falling structure so that it is launched /forcefully/ to the left;
2) at the same time as much as possible of the structures to the right should be
be destroyed, but definitely all the pigs there should be taken out
(meaning that you should detonate low enough, but not too low for 1).
3) where the helmet goes is impossible to control (for me) and usually it
just bounces off the tower or goes over it, but sometimes you get lucky and
the helmet gets stuck in the tower (in either of two possible crevices), making
the tower wobble (helmets are unstable objects);
4) occassionally this wobbling results in the tower falling over, and
sometimes this takes out all the pigs…

this takes a lot of patience (i succeeded roughly once per hour in reaching
stage 4 above, and stage 4 succeeded only upon the 10th or so attempt);
i had only enough patience for this once, but i explained the strategy to a co-worker,
who confirmed it (also that it takes a lot of patience…) while being in bed with the flu.
he even obtained a higher score (92 thousand) by it (he’s not registered on angry birds
nest but he’s number two for level 7 on ipad gamecenter) my guess is that something
like 95,000 should be possible.

fall back two-bird strategy:

if stage 2) succeeds (all the pigs killed except for those in the tower on the left,
but the helmet didn’t get stuck in the tower), then just

* throw the blue/glass bird towards the glass of the tower and timely split it.

my high-score with that strategy was 86 thousand, but i guess
something like 87 or even 88 thousand should be possible with this two-bird strategy.
to get to such scores you should have around 35,000 after the first black/bomb bird
(i know more than 40,000 is possible, but that happened only a few times to me).

to be sure: i play on ipad 2. i don’t know whether it’s doable on other iOS devices.

Mock a mockingbirds strategy is hard. First shot left third pig alive too many times for me. But with three birds 70k and with all birds 3 star score is fairly sure thing with this strategy.

My easier strategy is pure force two bird thing. Black to middle of the first tower, explosion kills everything expect the last pig. And second bird finishes the level. It is vital to get the rock blocks flying, they make the destruction.

80k scores with two birds.

the same one-bird strategy, but this time more luck, 96,910 (instead of 89,000 before; exceeding my expectation of the strategy maxing out at 95,000) within 20 minutes of trying since the previous attempt reported on above. the tower collapsed mainly to the right.
i do have the impression that the strategy (also the fall-back two-bird strategy) was easier to perform and gave more points than before the latest update of Angry Birds Free HD.
Unfortunately that update also fails to connect to/fails to update scores on Gamecenter. From within the game, trying to see highscores gives the message “The operation couldn’t be completed. (Cocoa error 3840.)”, on my ipad 2, 32GB, with ios 5.1.1; seems an interface/api error. I already had reported this to rovio but nothing thusfar, except for acknowledging they were aware of such issues. (don’t know about ios 6; at the moment i prefer to stick to 5 because of maps.)

This is a great strategy tMaM! Was able to execute it many times but unable to get the complete left structure to fall when hit by debris, helmet or the combination of both. I believe it works, it almost did a few times when a portion of the left structure fell, but after 5 days time to move on.

The present score was obtained with the fall back two-bird strategy which is almost two strategies in one if the first one does not work and the most left helmeted pig is destroyed then try with the second.

Aiming tip: zoom in and have the smallest orange tip on the front of the right eyebrow showing and not covered by the sling’s flexible band. This provides some consistency in getting the Bomb Bird through the swing, hitting the stalactite and falling under the swing prior to activation.

passing the last stage (as mentioned in my first comment) is very rare. i think it only happens because of tunneling (the phenomenon that solid objects can pass through each other due to the fact that the physics engine (box2D) approximates movement in discrete steps), here that the helmet gets such a high speed by the explosion that the movement in one step is such that at one moment it may still be in front of the tower, and in the next (computed) moment it is in the middle of it, causing the physics engine to move it to the most nearby open space (it cannot end up in the middle of, say, some wood or stone). if that open space happens to be one of the crevices mentioned in my comment, then you are lucky and the tower may start to wobble and, if you are even more lucky, fall down … i think this is the only way to bring the tower down; if i remember well, i had succeeded in damaging it a bit by the `swing’ being sent to the left, but never the damage inflicted in that way was enough to bring the tower down.

btw one can make use of the same tunneling phenomenon in other levels as well, e.g. i used it for my score in mine and dine level 16-4 (again by sending a helmet in a crevice, but other small/light objects may be tunneled as well)
