Angry Birds Free 3 Star Walkthrough Cake 4 Level 1

Our strategy for Angry Birds Free Birdday Party (Birthday Party) Cake 4 level 1 is to use all three Red birds. Fire the first into the vertical block in the bottom-left, then another into the vertical block that the first shot exposed. All that should remain is a lofting shot into the top-right structure, causing it to topple onto the birthday cakes below.

If you have a different method that is easier or yields a higher score please feel free to leave a comment below explaining your strategy. Please don’t post your score in the comment section without an accompanying explanation on how that score was achieved. For those looking to post individual scores, head on over to the leaderboards and compete with the rest of us!

One bird-aim at wood horizontal board on left side above two pigs. All should fall. This is submitted before the video so others may have some different starts.

Got it. Thanks for the help!

Been close with that strat, but the structure has yet to yield. Good to know it is possible.

The structure moves. Look at the two vertical split brown boards to the right of the second pig on the bottom. Sometimes they are not aligned. Your best chance for the one bird shot. I have repeated the one birds shot about four times but cannot better my score. Keep trying, you will get it.

That sounds like a winner, although I’ve only managed a 2-birder, thus far. But for now, it’s off to the Official Challenge level. :-)

Altough this is not an alternate strategy for this level, the following is a strategy to get 3 stars on Theme VIII-1.
1. Fling the first bird to the first wooden block.
2. Fling then the second bird, aiming for the ice block. As that happens, all but one pig (the one on the right) should fall and pop.
3. Filg the last bird to said pig, and the wooden blocks should also fall, splatting the cakes.
I got a score of 80.000 with this.

68k confirmed 3 Star minimum!
67k is 2 stars
68k is 3 stars

A second one bird method exists, though I have not gotten a score much above 80k with it. Aim to just clear the top wooded plank and hit the two stone blocks at the top. They can topple the right tower, and if timed properly, red bird breaks the plank between the towers, and the left crumbles as well. I haven’t yet taken out all of the right side cake, so there is room for improvement here.

This happened once, the structure started to fall before my first bird ht it.

1/20 ratio for one bird is bit optimistic. My first one birdie was 95k and it took two episodes of American Idol to get the my high scores of these three new levels. That is 3 hours of hitting just 3 levels :-)
Stupid but the tv show is so weak this year…

the structure falling (as reported by wrw01) is not that infrequent; the top left part of the structure is
quite unstable. if it is unstable, it’s a good indication the one bird strategy (onto the horizontal wood sticking out)
will work. shot my highscore in such a situation, while just trying out the level, so I got lucky,
and left it at that seeing the scores of others. (also means i have no idea how high a score one can get at this level.)

i was trying to hit the horizontal wood a bit from below, which was in general
quite successful (reacting to juslas’ comments, i think 1/20 or better is doable).

Wow, that’s a really good score (as are many of your scores!) I’ve been really unlucky on these new levels – the only time I got the one birder here the game crashed out – would have been 89k! Oh well, I guess it’s just back to repetitive flinging and repeating then!

Great Top Score, to mock a mockingbird. Glad to see the strategy and observatons worked for you. You have given me hope to improve my score.

As a matter of principle, I never look at the walk-through pages until i think i’ve `solved’ a level (meaning having a
score sufficiently close to highscore). Only then I have a look to compare my solution to solutions by others,
often finding that indeed my strategy is the same as other strategies (sometimes up to some small but
important details), in this case yours, which is nice.

Good luck. It should definitely be possible to get more than 95,000 (i had several scores
higher than 95,000 up to 98,000 with this/your strategy in a relatively short time, say 45 minutes).

I downloaded Hd version just to try on the same game center leader board as “to mock a mockingbird”. As commented several times on these boards, scores on different platforms are comparable.

On this level is easy to do multiple runs since it is one bird level indeed. Structure bounces at the beginning but has never collapsed on its own. Pig rolls back and fort on top of the target wood block, but I could not tell whitch is the most unstable position / timing.
I have more than ten 95k scores on both platforms (iPhone and iPad). I did score 97540 without breaking the cake on top! Cakes rarely break when falling, disappointment was this time more about not topping “to mock a mockingbird”.

I prefer AB seasons daily levels (and these lite and free) since one can be competitive for an hour (or two) with readable score boards.
