The best strategy for Danger Above level 7-2 is to fire the first Black bird to roll across the top of the first structure, detonating above the second section. This should at least pop all pigs in the first structure. Fire the next Black bird to land on the far structure, detonating when immediately underneath the top pig. The score in the video below is 142,990.

My Stategy was to fire the first black bird onto the first structure and blow it up around half way. that should clear most pigs. then fire the next bird far and detonate under the pig with the helmet. results may very.
Launch the first black bird to the right structure and have it land/activate it on the far right verticle wood block post. Launch the second black bird to the left structure and land it to the right of the first big pig and activate it after it rolls over the second wood verticle posts from the left side. Gained 2k in score. Credit for this alternate strategy goes to @E-star.

I wasn’t getting particularly good destruction on the second shot this way, so I tried activating the black bird on impact instead. This really seemed to add to the force of the explosion; I immediately got 148k and repeated a couple of slightly lower scores. Just another alternative to consider for anyone struggling to match the higher scores on this level.
Thanks for the tip on the second shot @AustinRHL… activating upon impact definitely helped give the bomb that little bit of extra force… increased my score by ~4K. :-)

@jlz-666 I’m replaying some old levels & see you are sitting very pretty in the #3 spot on this one.. I realize it’s probably been a long time since you played it, but I’m wondering if you could search your memory banks a bit for me. Was it a 1-birder, which I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible, or really great destruction? There’s certainly enough stuff left from my 147k to go a lot higher.

Ohhh heck @karen68 you’re testing the memory banks here,this is an oldie! I’ve just tried playing it again to refresh my memory & managed to get 149k but I don’t think I’ll ever get close to 155k again. I have always played this level the way of the walkthrough vid & I’m pretty sure that’s how I got my score,just with a lot more carnage. Sorry,would love to give you more but I remember really enjoying Danger Above & I spent hours on each level,so its a case of fling,fling & fling again! It was definitely a two birdie so stop trying for the elusive 1 birdie,it ain’t gonna happen lol! Good luck & happy flinging :)
@jlz-666 ok thanks, hope you didn’t damage too many brain cells trying to remember. I don’t think I liked this one too much the 1st time round but I’m kind of enjoying it now. Just keep flinging just keep flinging… :)
I need to be careful with the old brain cells @karen68 but Sunday is a day of rest so you didn’t stretch them too far ;) The flinging song should help you eventually……either that or drive you insane lol!
