It is possible to clear Danger Above level 6-11 with only one bird. The strategy is to loft the Boomerang bird over the structure, spinning it back through the horizontal ice block in the bottom-right. With a precise shot, the bird will continue all the way to the well-protected pig within. The score in the video below is 105,740.

AMslimfordy video worked for this level. The deeper the bird goes into the bottom of the structure it appears the more destruction will occur. Tired reverse flinging the Boomergang Bird and it was not strong enough to knock the structure over.
I hadn’t thought of reverse-flinging the Boomerang Bird, but you’re right, it isn’t strong enough to accomplish much of anything. Of course, the downside is that, by the video method, you have to 1-bird this level to get 3 stars.
Been replaying some of these old Danger Above levels and it feels like I am back in Boomerang Bird school. The key to a high score on this level seems to be to launch the first bird so that it just clears the structure. Your trajectory after reversing the bird should be as close to horizontal as possible.
Me too but couldn’t improve, even though I had an almost total destruction. Top score must be just that.
Or a no birder of course. It does wobble a lot!!

@rikiryu Congrats on top score! Did you by any chance get partial or total self-destruction? What I mean is did all or part of the structure collapse before you shot a bird?
If not, can you give us any tips on how you got your score?
