It looks like Angry Birds is finally coming to a Blackberry device via the the Blackberry PlayBook. As RLZIII reported in our forum, there is a short write-up over at Crackberry, though they don’t have a lot of details either (no one does). It was also announced via the official Twitter account for Blackberry, “Big news just announced! Angry Birds is coming to the #BlackBerry PlayBook! #BBWC”.
While there is no official launch date yet the rumor is this summer. Exactly how this will play out though remains to be seen. We’ll stay on top of this as more news comes out.

Surely it could just run the Android version so it could just be that and not a version specific to the Playbook?
I thought I had read something on their twitter feed recently that said they had no plans whatsoever to release it on the playbook???
Went back through their feeds and I guess I was wrong — now I’m wondering what exactly they were referring to when they said they had no plans to release it on.
No, quite the opposite. Rovio plans to release AB for Playbook, but currently has no plans for other BlackBerry devices.
