Angry Birds Bad Piggies Level 23-15 Walkthrough

One strategy for Angry Birds Bad Piggies level 23-15 is to send the Red bird towards the top pig sitting on the stone blocks. Then fling Orange against the tnt, and trigger upon impact. The resulting explosion should clear all the pigs on the left. Finally, send Orange towards the Moustache pig, and trigger upon impact. Flying debris should destroy the King Pig above. The score in the video below is 121,720.

First shot: Instead of going for the top pig, go for the highest stone block that he’s sitting on. If hit in the right way, the stones will topple to the right.

Then, have orange hit the three stone blocks right in front. I believe this is more effective than hitting the lower tnt, as both shots will kill all pigs, but the stones will fall for more points in the first option.

Finally, throw orange into the right structure. This is an easy shot, as long as you cleared everything in the way.

Actually, shot #2: if you aim Orange at the small square wood piece above the three stones, and trigger just after impact, you’ll send debris flying to the right. The already weakened right structure will collapse. So a 2 birder is very possible.

I used a strategy similar to that of @cal010, except for the second shot: instead of hitting the stone blocks from the front, I send the orange bird through the vertical wooden plank above, let the bird fall down into the gap and inflate when it is on the other side of stone blocks. This leads to a lot of destruction.

it does work well. 141.5k currently, with three. more possible indeed. was playing the 2nd through the wood onto the small stone, activating ithe bird when level with the lowest of the three bricks, and the 3rd into the right structure.

1-birder possible since i’ve had both the left (by the impact of the sling, after breaking its cord; takes some time) and the right (by the three bricks) tower collapse, but don’t think it will give high scores. in general, such a (often slow) collapse of the right structure makes it right part fall down without scoring many points (and leaving hard to destroy debris), so was trying to avoid that by flinging the 2nd quickly in such cases.
2-birder should give the highest scores (once got 118k after the 2nd with one pig left, a lonely one at that, so the 3rd didn’t do much other damage).

Thank you cal010 for the post on the strategy above and @annach for this tip. Both worked great and was able to obtain an above average score and increase the score over 20k.

Completed this level with three birds and here are some aiming tips utilized:
1. Hit the left side of the upper stone block on the upper floating 3 stone structure with the Red Bird. The stones fall to the right and the pig in the box falls to the left side creating damage to both structures.
2. This is where I did a slight adjustment on activation. Aim the first Orange Bird into the split of the two vertical wood blocks that are sitting on the left side floating base rock. OB then hits the little stone rock, travels down and activate it when it is at the bottom stone of the three block set.
3. Land the second Orange Bird on the right side of the two vertical stone blocks sitting on the ground. The exact landing point will vary due to the remaining pigs and debris. Sometimes I activated OB higher than ground level because of the debris pile.
4. Red Bird = bonus

This level was fun to play because if one utilizes the 3P’s, one’s aim improved whereby improving the score. Started this level just over 120K and ended with a good above average in points.

The biggest challenge was getting the upper left floating wood structure with the RB or the first OB. If these failed nipping the left edge of the long horizontal wood plank with the second OB seemed to do get the job done.

Came close to a two bird solution but a little green pig rolled to the left of the tnt or remained on the right after the tnt was activated.

I was experimenting with the second bird to improve the damage on the right side…

The first bird is as described by others. On the top stone just below the lone pig in a box. Here is the trajectory: http://oi61.tinypic.com/vg7p6b.jpg

The second bird is trickier.

It is sent at a slightly reduced speed to finish its course well inside the right structure. Since the top wood boxes have been slightly damaged or destroyed by the falling stones, it is possible to penetrate the structure.

The reduced speed is necessary to avoid the floating support and to improve the angle of penetration into the right structure.

Here is the trajectory: http://oi60.tinypic.com/14j3v5e.jpg

And this is the result that led to by highest score: http://oi61.tinypic.com/2ujm6oz.jpg

The last bird is sent directly into the three stone blocks, inflating just before contact.

I came back to this level and improved from 135k to 147k. My strat:

1) red to vertical wood block below leftmost pig; structure leans right, sometimes the TNT triggers.

2) balloon to three stone blocks on high floating platform; knock those blocks into right structure.

With luck, most of the left & middle will be clear, the right structure will be wobbly.

3) balloon into right structure, ideally dropping inside so that blowup does lots of damage.

4) bonus bird

played it for 5 minutes, just to see, for the daily challenge, and could easily get two 145k+ scores playing it as before (with previous best 144k with quite some effort), so definitely a level that has become easier (because of the changed physics of ob). checking just now, i see BP 23-15 is not yet on your list @bonneypattycat ?

After 4-5 hours of on and off play yesterday and today, I’ve struggled with all the suggested strats and tried a few of my own, and maxed out at 43K. And not a puppy in site, even with a lot players on the challenge. Maybe it’s just me, but I just don’t see how this level would qualify for @bonneypattycat ‘s list.

hi @peejaydee27 . prompted by your comment decided to play the level some more at the end of week. after improving 10 points first from 148120 to 148130, could now improve to 150770. all this by still playing anna ‘s strategy. since you tried that (as i understand from your message) but maxed out at 143k in 5 hours of play, whereas i get 140k+ scores every few minutes and 145k+ scores every 15 minutes, let me add some details on the 2nd and 3rd. i send the 2nd through the wood above the three stones, to the small stone, letting it bounce down first and then right, expanding it when on the top-right of the platform, with the goal of not only smashing that structure but also making the bird move forcefully to the right, hopefully also taking out (part of) the right structure (several times i got 125k+ damage after the 2nd; 130k for a 150k final score should be possible). the 3rd i send to the right structure, manually expanding it in the lower middle of it (or what remains of it), and with some luck `zap’ the remnants. in case of the 150k score i had 126k damage after the 2nd and quickly sent the 3rd in which zapped everything on the right for 140k destruction.

such scoring was not possible before i think (no zapping; only pushing by ob), with the high scoring (149k) strategy being almost impossible to execute on platforms that do not support exact repetition (slightly reduced speed). that the level has become easier is also supported by that many players could improve during the challenge. so i think that with some more luck someone could have gotten a puppy; i think it was very much in sight, and i hope you don’t mind me insisting that this level qualifies for @bonneypattycat ‘s list, it’s easier based on my experience of playing the level for more than 4 hours both before and after the physics of ob was changed (i can support both by screenshots). despite getting a 150k score, don’t know what’s in fact the best strategy… (got several 146k+ scores with the three stones on top undamaged).

Left field strategy. Throw first bird away (zero points).Second bird just behind the three stones (lower left), let it drop down and manually detonate next to the base rock so that it flies to the right and takes out the lower part of the right structure. Third bird to left of top three stones and manually detonate to destroy the remaining top pigs. Scores over 140k frequent, 146k indicated that maybe top spot within range.
