One strategy for Angry Birds Bad Piggies level 21-4 is to use the Yellow bird to break the small block preventing the boulders from rolling. Once released, the boulders will crush the nearest tower. Fire a White bird straight ahead to topple the left tower. If you feel so inclined, another White bird may be used to detonate the TNT. The score in the video below is 94,470.

After shooting the yellow bird and hitting the chock holding rocks in place, wait for a few moments. The force of the yellow bird cutting the cable may have been enough that the tower at left will slowly collapse to the right, giving you a one-birder.

Ditto, @parallel one birder, everything fell into the middle and the TNT exploded. I think this is one of those self-destructing levels.
Thank you @parallel for the post on the one bird solution. Kept at it and it finally paid off.
Aiming tip: zoom out, have the front tip of the Yellow Bird touch the indentation in the dark brown base in the background, launch, and activate it when it is over the left side/middle of the second tree (highest) to the right of the wood roof. It consistently hits the wood chock holding the rocks. May have to adjust a bit to get it down but it worked well.
Thanks for the tip on the self-destruction @parallel. I never would’ve gotten better than my previous 106K if I didn’t wait for the tower to collapse. Thank you for being so observant! Now I can happily rest my flinging fingers for another day.

Unstable level alert! I just one-birdied it for 112940!
Cut the cable like the video, and the tower just fell over on itself, detonating the TNT on the way.

So far, my 2-bird 105k still beats my best one bird score of 99k :/
It’s definitely the 1-Birders that help in scoring higher on this level, I started with a 2-Birder at 92k, and have been concentrating on the 1-Birder after that, so far it’s been steadily climbing with each 1-Birder. The structure on the left starts wobbling after your first shot cutting the hanging line and releasing the boulders, so it’s not actually an unstable level, it just becomes unstable after your first shot.
@werewolf69 — Not sure this constitutes an unstable level, but the way I’ve defined it is self-destruction (partial or total) happens before any bird shot. Unstable happens after a particular shot, but is generally something more dramatic than I think is described here.
Just saw “it”, but TNT didn’t explode, so it was a one-birder for 102220. I would agree that this is not unstable, just a slow fall.

Scored a lucky 1 birder here. After a great 1st bird shot resulting in over 38k, I watched as the main tower started inching to the right.. Held off the second bird for about a minute and watched it slip right and collapse on its own.
That’s exactly what happened to me too, patience fellow flingers, patience!
@bikkit I don’t recognize the word you used. Patience? When the reset button is right there, taunting you with with “just one more fling, one more and all will fall!” Sigh, I followed your advice, and, yes, it worked!
@catsnbirds It is, I think, the plural that describes we inmates of the AB asylum. But spelling was never my strong point…

Hellooo @Kathy! :D look at the two “polls” in the middle bottom, if they make a v you’ll either have a partial cave in or a full cave in most times for a 1 birdie Kathy otherwise the top pig may roll over off the cliff but not much else!! :)
O.k I’ve replied to this twice @Kimmiecv don’t understand why its not here..i am having a very frustrating night…i don’t understand what you mean by ” polls” if this doesn’t got through then i give up..
@Kathy right under the little sand bag thingys there are two poles holding the structure up, those will move into an upside down V when that happens its more likely you’ll get a 1 birdie, IF the structure collapses just right. You have to be patient (IKR I’m talking to Ms impatient!! LOL) But its worth the few secs if it collapses because you’ll likely end up above avg! :) Sorry, I hope I explained it better!
Thank you, @kimmiecv. This was actually the most useful tip on this page for me. I also found that the way to get this to happen most often was to aim the yellow bird to just barely clear the left structure, accelerating just after clearing the tower. Frequently, the leftmost pig on the rope (and/or the ricocheting yellow bird) would damage the vertical wood piece above the TNT and accelerate the fall.

Sorry cosmo2503 I have no idea what you mean by ME and TD. Score was obtained by using; the one bird strategy, applying a bloody-minded attitude i.e. if someone else can get this sort of score then so can I and last but not least getting lucky. I have been revisiting these levels recently and by using these methods have managed to improve my score greatly.
@steviep147 I thought that was total destruction (TD) after you used Mighty Eagle (ME). Congratulations anyway, that’s awesome what you did.
For clarity the snapshot at May 14 0121 just shows graphically what @kimmiecv is referring to with the inverted V. It was not the attempt that gained me 117k.
Oh ye I get it now. Doh! Just me being a bit dense. Sorry. Thank you. Ye pleased with the score but there’s obviously a few more k in there. Your own score is just as good though. I’m now moving on to the levels where others have considerably more k’s than I do. First stop 20-15.

Don’t change zoom level when game starts. Pull yellow bird down until the top of his black feathers are even with the top of the darker mesa (for lack of a better term) in the background. Release. Boost yellow bird when he is directly over the top of the two triangular wooden “roof” pieces. This should take out the boulder chock almost every time. Then wait for collapse if the main structure is destabilized or fire second bird as in video.
