Angry Birds Bad Piggies Level 21-14 Walkthrough

One strategy for Angry Birds Bad Piggies level 21-14 is to loft the Black bird toward the gap in the middle of the level, between the pillars. Make sure the TNT at the bottom of the pile is detonated by falling debris. Then use one or two White birds to clear the left pigs, ricocheting into the stone and pillars for extra points. The score in the video below is 97,220.

I think the first time Ive ever been able to say anything useful. One bird. Aim black bird for topmost pig. Hit lh side diagonal roof and pig should fall through onto him. Wait for explsion and with a bit of luck youll get a one birder. 103310

Hi, I have been enjoying sitting with the high score here for a few days – does not happen to me often so savouring it! I appreciate everyone else sharing their secrets, so here is how I did it. It is a one birder and was achieved by manually exploding the bomb as it drops into the gap in the roof. It is not easy to replicate, but when successful it spreads the structure both ways and the left column falls and sets off the TNT and kills left pigs, debris drops to explode TNT below and kill bottom pigs, and right hand column falls and right side pig is dealt to as well. The bomb seems to be more effective in the cavity under the roof rather than directly next to any structure. It is a tricky one but it did happen, so there must be a sweet spot in there somewhere. Sorry I do not have a video.

Hi, It is a few days ago, but from memory I launched the bird relatively flat and it rolled onto the roof then fell into the cavity and as I said above, I think exploding in the cavity works better than when it gets lower down. Best of luck.

Great strat rosconz! Tried and tried for days before I looked at the walkthrough. Achieved the high score the second try…which lends to the “lucky” better than good theory. I sent BB on a flat trajectory rolling him into the gap allowing him to detonate on his own. I had to wait a few seconds for that pesky left side to fall but eventually it did. I have a screenshot but I am not sure how to load from my iPad. Thanks rosconz!

@Rosconz — Thanks! This strat got me above average. I aimed first BB just above small wood block on upper left so it rolled into gap. Getting both sides to push out is tricky; I think you want to detonate BB before he drops to level of boulder. Had to wait quite a while for boulder to drop on TNT — landed on horizontal wood plank and bounced for a while before wood and some of the stones to left tipped boulder onto TNT.

There’s a 2 bird modification to this strategy that I’ve gotten 117k from. If the first bird does enough damage and just fails to get the bottom TNT, use the white bird to drop the bomb to clear out whatever is blocking the debris from falling through to get the TNT. Additional debris should get the TNT and clear out whatever is left below.

Thanks @rosconz for posting your alternative strategy. Was able of obtain the present score with the one-bird strategy.
Also used mvnla2’s tip about hitting the upper left wood block.
Aiming tip for the Bomb Bird: zoom out and locate a light green triangle-like patch in the dark green background. Pull back the BB so its bottom edge is just touching the left side of the light green triangle. This will assist in getting the BB to hit the left little wood piece and fall into the gap. Slight adjustments may be needed with the amount of BB that touches the light green section.
Obtained 115k with two birds: Bomb Bird in the middle which destroyed everything to the left. White Bird drops the egg in the middle to activate the tnt.
The challenge of this level was to get the left most column to fall on the left pigs and tnt.

I finally had a one-birder too, and here is the strategy I used. Instead of high-arc, I send the bird to the gap directly. I think this method gives more consistent results than sending the bird in a high arc. There are several advantages: 1) it is easier to get into the gap; 2) the bird ends up in the middle of the gap often, while with the high-arc method it usually ends up closer to the right structure and, as a result, does not push the left side; 3) it falls slower this way and can be activated were needed. I found that it is the best to activate it when it is between the boulder and the pig (but I am still experimenting with this). The boulder should fall down and explode the TNT at the bottom, while the left part of the roof should fall on the TNT on the left and kill all the pigs there. My score after this one-birder was modest 112K because the pillars did not fall. I think a much higher score is possible if more stuff falls down.

Blow the black bird when it passes by the round boulder as it falls through the center. 1 in 20 yields a 1-bird for me. Other tries get nearly squat.

OK, there IS a perfect shot here. The key is to aim your bird at the small wooden block in front of the gap. If you hit it directly, towards the right side, it will slow the BB down enough so that it will roll into the gap slowly and probably explode in just the right spot, in front of the round boulder. This will often take down the rightmost and leftmost pillar at once. Luck withstanding, the round boulder will fall onto the plank at the bottom of the gap without hitting the small piggie, breaking the plank and detonating the bomb underneath. The REAL luck involves having the leftmost pillar and stone slabs take out the left bomb and the two nearby piggies, one of which is almost always left standing even if everything else goes right. I just KNOW there’s 125K in here.

FYI, if the BB hits the block too early, it will stall out the BB too much, and it will either stop short of the gap, or or slow it down to the point that it blows too early. If you hit the block too late, it will break the stone slab as it crashes into the gap, lessening the effect of the BB explosion on the left side.

@renomedphys great description on how to get a decent one-birder. While manually denotating the black bird has its place, on this level the black bird’s judgment on when to blow was much better than mine, provided I aimed well to begin with. At 114k I have a ways to go to get near your score, but the potential is definitely there.

I found out that a 2 bird strategy is leading to higher scores.

The trajectory for the first bird is as described in previous comments.
Here it is: http://img809.imageshack.us/img809/8683/tyi1.png

To get the most damages the bb must explode just after passing the middle of the boulder.

Most of the time, the pigs near the TNT are still alive after the first bird and if it is the case the score should be between 75k and 80k to hope for a really high score (It was 79k for my highest one).

The second bird is used to clear the two pillars and destroy the TNT in the process.

Here is the trajectory and the result after my second bird:

And here is the highscore screenshot:

@uncle-b I agree this looks like it should work but I’m having no luck either, those columns just don’t want to fall (I play on ipad). The closest I came to improving my score was an almost 1-birder for 117k.
And I think @asher plays on PC so I don’t think that’s the problem. Don’t tell me they changed this level as well… :(
