Five years ago this week the world was introduced to a handful of irate avians and their emerald porcine nemeses. Needless to say, the world — and animal kingdom — hasn’t been the same since. With beaks held high Rovio took the app world by storm and hasn’t let up. Spawning multiple spin-off games, three animated series, theme park attractions and too many toys, books, clothes and other merchandise to count. We here at the Nest have had the privilege of tagging along for most of this amazing ride.
To celebrate the fifth anniversary, this Thursday, December 11th, Rovio will be updating the original game (ABo) with a celebratory ‘BirdDay 5’ episode. It features 30 new levels, all of which were designed by fans, including hundreds of submissions from AngryBirdsNest and Pigineering users. You may recall Rovio’s #MaketheNextLevel competition back in October. Here’s the payoff.
With only a few days to go, the winners are starting to be announced on Twitter via the #BirdDay5 hashtag. While we will also announce our winners there, we also wanted to take time to congratulate them here. So without further ado:

Additionally, at least twosites are reporting that Rovio will be offering a present to all Angry Birds fans via Google Play. As stated, entering the code: “ANGRY-BIRDS” in the following Angry Birds games will redeem a reward worth $5.00 USD:

@leggy, currently there are 7 more Pig Days levels with a Coming Soon. Based on past performance, that could be another 15 or so levels.
As a calendar noteable events based episode that was released July 2014 @sparty83, I’m guessing that we could be in for a lot more than the 15 levels that you’re anticipating (after the coming soon banner). As you said, there are not enough hours in the day! *sigh!*

The code works in AB Epic on Android. The reward is 100 Lucky Coins.
It appears to be usable once per app per device. I installed ABO and AB Rio to my Andy emulator to test this:
– In ABO, I got an “Unexpected Error” message. They may not have the code fully implemented for that game yet.
– In Rio, I received 20 power-up bundles.
Unfortunately, it’s not once per Rovio Account. I logged into my main account in Epic (I normally play this account on my iPhone), entered the code, and got a “Code Accepted” message, but no LCs. Here’s hoping they do add this for iOS so I can redeem it directly on my main account. :)
Welp, this morning I open my Epic on iOS and notice that I’ve got 100 LCs more than I did last night – 133 instead of 33. So I guess the code works on multiple accounts after all.
What! I have used this code today and yesterday, which rewards me 100+100 LCs. Used in ABTransformers, didn’t work. P.S Happy 5th B’Day to AB!

Since the AB games are free in Google Play (except Star Wars II), I went ahead and installed them all to Andy. Here’s a summary of what you get in each one:
ABO: 80 Sling Scopes
Seasons / Rio: 20 power-up bundles
Epic: 100 Lucky Coins
Space: “Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later.”
Star Wars: “The code you entered is not valid.”
Go: The code-entry interface doesn’t support PC keyboard input, unlike Epic, and doesn’t have its own on-screen keypad, like ABO/Seasons/Rio, so I can’t test this on Andy.
Friends / Transformers / Stella: I can’t find where to enter codes for these games.
there is a “Angry Birds Star Wars II Free” for Android in Google Play.
I saw that, but assumed it was like the old “free” versions of ABO, where it just gave you a sample of a few levels. I see now that it’s ad-supported, and the $1 version (called “AB Star Wars II”) is ad-free, but they’re both the full game. (I did see that AB Space has the same set of versions, except the ad-supported version is just “AB Space” and the ad-free version is “AB Space Premium”.)
Anyway, SWII gets the same message as SW. I didn’t figure those two would get any free stuff due to the licensing agreements with Disney/Lucasfilm.

100 Lucky Coins in Epic… WOOOOOOT
Firstly, congratulations to all winners of the MakeTheNextLevel competition, especially @Sal9 and @les-toreadors – I’m looking forward to playing your levels on December 11th.
Secondly, I just tried entering the “ANGRY-BIRDS” code on my Android and iOS devices, here are my findings…
Android:
AB original – unexpected error message x2, and then an ‘already used code’ message, no reward
AB rio – power up bundle
AB seasons – power up bundle
AB space – invalid code
AB sw – invalid code
AB sw2 – invalid code
AB stella – couldn’t find where to enter code
iOS:
AB original (free/demo version) – invalid code
AB rio (full version) – invalid code
AB friends – couldn’t find where to enter code
AB epic – couldn’t find where to enter code
AB transformers – couldn’t find where to enter code
(nb. I have a total of 19 apps by Rovio on my iPad, but figured iOS was a no go in so far as receiving gifts, so I didn’t try any of my other apps.)
To conclude:
I guess it works with some Android apps, but not others.

I’ve now found the keyboard thanks, but the app is saying invalid code, so I guess I won’t be getting those 150 gems afterall *sigh!*.
Unsure if IOS and Android are the same… But Epic on Android, hit the settings “gear” in the bottom left and there is a keyboard icon right above the gear. The code gives 100 Lucky Coins.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL ANGRY BIRDS. Sonic dash + angry birds epic = mind blown. Red has green hair instead of red in sonic dash as a player. I tried the code on AB epic it says code is not correct on ios 7.1.1 please help.

@drobbinsjr When all of epic has loaded and you can see the map look at the bottom left corner. There should be a button with a gear on it. Tap on it then 5 other buttons will come out. Tap on the 5th button (under the ToonsTv button) that has a keyboard on it then redeem the code “Angry-birds”

Me too. I’m using AB SW II (Angry Birds Star Wars II 2 ) on Nokia Lumia with Windows Mobile / Windows Phone.
Just need to pass levels 18 and 19 from 3rd part to get 100% (except reward chapter with just few carachters), but I know how to do it, instead being excessivesly difficult. But is not the problem I’m searching here. The problem is that, not for be less count of players, we must be silenced about codes all around internet forums AB dedicated.
We must found too the possible ways to get in equality, at least, sharing all possible helps, not just to Android & iOS, either Windows (mobile, desktop and store) users like if there are another OS supported by any Angry Birds app (Blackberry, Linux, any if exists support by Rovio), instead being a great minority. Please, let’s share what we get if we found anything, not just here either another website that could be indexed by google search, bing, yahoo, etc… If we do it just tipping a few lines when found it, just in less than a minute it could be easier for all of us.
